Are you referring to memory issues? It is true that you can't use many other mods with KSOS it still works perfectly fine. I've loaded KSOS into my gamedata file before through almost every iteration and i must say it always works fine and I have a MAC

I think that would be an interesting separate pack. I mean if its something you aren't interested in then don't do it because as the model it should be fun for you. However a Chaka launchers pack with some payloads would be interesting. I mean it could go well with the scope of chaka because you could include resupply vehicles. Long range probes. You could Chakaize the FASA parts for say a Chaka Titan rocket. A Chaka launchers pack would be very interesting. Just your version of realy world launch vehicles. Atlas, Titan, Delta, Falcon 9, Ariane. I mean obviously im not saying you have to do all of the launchers I am just saying modify them the way that you modify everything else. In terms of payloads I mean you did Skylab 2 you could do like curiosity 2. I mean I would love to see what you could do what a rover. Yogui87 has a great curiosity rover replica and even aeroshell heatshield, skycrane, engine. Its a great pack. Its slightly outdated but man that could be cool. Long story short yes separate pack could be cool. EDIT: Yogui87 I forgot even has a replica hubble telecope. That something tat could be a good paylaod too.

I first must say that I love this mod. It is unique, fun, and very functional in alot ways beyond just being a replica in game. Like it can totally be used to for resupplying moon bases, space stations, a whole lot of potential besides just being a great replica. That being said can one of your next updates include deliver atleast for the ranger in space? I mean early of development days I asked if you were going to make attachments for existing infrastructure ie SLS or FASA Saturns. Kinda like this obviously this a real model. However I thought it was cool that a model company made the ranger and though hey instead of making our own we should just make an attachment that goes with another popular model. Watching that made me think of KSP and this mod.EDIT: I am very aware this could be done with some proc part/proc fairings. I just thought it would be cool to have like it actually was in the movie. I mean so much detail has gone into this mod so far it would be nice to have that option. -
Something to think about for the next update. Could you out an attachment node at the bottom of the redstone/all of your engines so if we use just the fasa launch clamps they will work. I for one like just the fasa launch clamps and your redstone doesn't work with them because there is no attachment node. Also without launch clamps the redstone doesn't take off the launchpad. Thats easily fixed in sandbox, but in career even the stock launch clamps are released later i the tech tree.

hmmmm now thats a problem lol. If you want help it would be best if you posted your mods and log so someone can see where your game is going wrong. Also I highly doubt that this is a bug with fasa and more likely the mod or mods you have chosen to change the textures of KSP, ie eve, ksprc, interstellar, etc. Either way this is a problem you should probably post there.

Elon Musk be really happy about this announcement. The beauty of commercial introduction to spaceflight is that it is now forcing the industry to revaluate the status quo. Efficiency, Reusability, low cost, all will bring down the overall cost of spaceflight and maybe one day in my life time space travel will be as regular or almost as regular as commercial airlines. You can say a lot about Elon Musk but what he has done forced the industry make changes. If they land on that barge tomorrow and he lowers his cost even more there is no telling what will be next for the rest of the space industry. If he can further undercut all they other major launch vehicles either they will need to change or SpaceX will be the only way to get to and from space. I liken to PanAm, TWA, and the enormous airlines of the "golden age" of flight. I really hope we are almost there for rocketry.

Actually you are both right and wrong. Yes the exhaust plume does get larger as the vehicle ascends its just not that large with the rockets represented in this pack. The Saturn V was an enormous rocket with enourmus engines. Creating an exhaust plume that seemingly engulfed part of the rocket. However with the cleam mixtures and the smaller more efficent engines the exhaust plume looks more like this at high altitudes. If you notice its not the flame that expands outwards but more seemingly gases, exhaust, and condensation that might create a large plume or gas. A plume like this however might look good behind a Saturn V, but this is the humble Delta which shouldn't have such a large plume. Look at this real Delta Heavy at high altitudes. It does not have such a large plume. I suppose it is not an issue with the fire as it is with these modern rockets the plume should be hazy smoke as opposed to enormous orange plumes. But I am not one for 100% unadulterated realism. I just want to have fun. That being said, again I would use this pack everyday and twice on sunday because it is beautiful and I can get over the engine effects. I just want a thank all of you guys for doing such awesome work. Keep it up. -

I agree the real effects might look good to some people but to me they honestly don't looks that good. I think the vacuum engine effects look good but the atmospheric ones not so much. The cloud that gets exponentially bigger and bigger just doesn't look good. That being said it doesn't bother me so much that I would delete the pack because the rockets themselves just look and perform wonderfully and very realistically. But yes the engine effects are certainly something you should reconsider. I know they are stockalike but maybe you should consider something in between what you have and what OMSK is doing with his engines. -
FASA works perfectly well in stock KSP. If you are having an issue with RO or RSS issue with FASA those threads are more than capable of handling any issue you might be having because of the popularity of FASA in RSS/RO. So someone might have an answer for you here, but the more appropriate spot and spot to which you will most likely find an answer to your RSS/RO issues will be in those perspective threads.

Just playing around in career mode. The "Mercury" atlas should definitely be under General or advanced rocketry. It's way too late in the tech tree. It should be available to unlock for the orbit Kerbin contract. The atlas centaur tank would be great for heavy and then the rd180 and tanks after that. Redstone when it's read fits perfect under basic rocketry. Just my opinions.

Since Alexustas is back maybe pm him or post in the PRC thread. Alex might not even know about KIS. When PRC was made KAS was still blowing stuff up, so maybe ask him.
