You gotta get creative with it. I actually attached RCS blocks around it attached a decoupler, mono prop, and anything else you need for sustained flight and docked it. I also used the zenit rocket made by stubbles and horizon aeronautics to get it up there. As complicated as it sounds I got it up and successfully docked flawlessly. I'm sure there is a specific way to do it, but I couldn't figure it out. Hope this helps. -

Hey I never have a problem seeing such beautiful pictures hd pictures of the space shuttle. Its a little big but still really nice.

This is amazing. First you need to release Konquest and then you need to work on and release the Command Capsule as soon as possible because I am sick and tired of sending my kerbals back in to ugly capsules to renter the atmosphere after leaving such a beautiful capsule. I hope you can sense my sarcasam so just in case I want you to know I am kidding. It is a shame leaving the ALCOR to return to Kerbin. But even if you don't ever finish the Command Capsule we will still be left with this amazing Capsule. Once again sir well done.

I mean if they are just craft files you could release alpha 6 and release the craft files as you test them. I mean I get not wanting to release 20 versions of the pack but if they are just craft files release then as you go.

Ok the engines I get but the blank fairings don't look better either. There's a noticeable blank square where the logos should be and I don't see how that looks better.

I have been meaning to ask was it you or bobcat that took the red off the bottom of the soyuz engines? And the labels off the sides of the fairings? Can you put them back?

Try the solar wings from Kosmos, Near Future Solar has some big solar wings, even the solar array from the kso phase 2 but they are a little short. -
Is it possible to give the engine sound a little more power. It just seems a little weak considering the how loud the Space Shuttle actually was at launch. When I was a kid I actually had the pleasure of going to a launch with my dad and I have to tell you that it was hands down (obviously) the loudest thing I have ever heard. I have been going to airshows with my father and later with friends all my life and still nothing has even come close to the sound of the space shuttle take off. It was incredible. I have had B1 bombers fly over my head and seen the Blue Angels do high speed passes over the runway and the sound just isn't even close. I mean I was only a few hundred feet away from these planes and the Space Shuttle from the viewing gallery I believe is three or four miles away. Anyway just wasn't sure if it was possible to beef up the engine sounds.

Well I mean everyone who has been following this thread I am sure is chomping at the bit to get there hands on whatever version of this mod is available myself included. I mean releasing it now wouldn't be a bad thing you would be able to get input from the community and possibly ideas. Troubleshoot issues that might come up etc. I would definitely prefer to have it 100% complete but releasing as it is doesn't mean you're not going to finish it, it's just a beta release.

That looks like the same hear shield from the Apollo CM is it just shrunk down to fit? I don't care about it being the same but I always wondered about the choice to make the heat shield look used. I guess it makes sense after Reentry but before it clashes with the detail and beauty of the rest of the model. Beautiful work though I can't get over the detail. -

Actually the log file spamming I think is coming from the solar wings. I started the whole thing over and I started a peculiar way by doing the center system without the attachments ie zarya, zvezda, unity, destiny, harmony no lag no spam. Started the truss system it was ok, but then then when I attached the solar wings with the floating docking port the spam started. So could that docking port floating be the issue. Because I would open and close the wings to get the various nodes on so they wouldn't break. I was blaming JEM, poisk etc. But it might have been the solar panels.

Is anyone else having a problem with the separatrons causing a catastrophic failure to the ship? Its easily fixed by removing 4 of the 8 seperatrons in the craft file version.
