  1. All I know is I will be sad the day they officially seal the airlocks on the ISS forever. I hope we can build something equally if not more impressive then the ISS. To answer the question of the thread. I think the answer is pretty simple, salvage what ever modules we can and then build from there. Unfortunately you will have to de oribt the rest. It will be an impressive sight.
  2. Can you do fairings too? Im pretty sure Denny had some Skylab style fairings in his because he said he was working on a skylab, FASA has the 3.75 fairings but they arent exactly accurate, and Lovad well we haven't heard from Lovad in a while. I haven't tried his Saturn since .23 but it wasn't working too well then and with .24 coming out soon I am gonna say that mod is probably dead. Anyway they aren't a huge priority but fairings would be really nice. No big deal there is Proc fairings and the aforementioned mods have fairings that would fit so it really not a problem just an observation and I suppose a request.

  4. I love your retextures, I wanna say they are a corporate or even Hollywood style that just look wonderful in game. Ever consider putting corporate sponsor logos on the rockets. I know that sounds weird but like Pepsi logo or xbox. I only say this because you got the BMW logo on the monkey rover. I agree with the Aries 1 I never really trusted that as a concept. Strapping astronauts on top of an SRB doesn't seem very safe. However the delta seems like overkill too. What if you came up with your own variant to launch just Orion? A Hybrid Aries? Idk just an idea.
  5. Could you make an adapter so we can mount it on the srbs just like the planned/cancelled version? It's could just be an orbital rocket to dock with space stations and such. Even now I can't believe they even propose that the sls can send orion to the iss. That just seems like over kill.
  6. KSO Skylab The Saturn V was way too much rocket to get it into orbit but it looks cool, I was going for historical accuracy, and it got into space really fast.
  7. I mean to keep the part count down for the core tanks you can make the textures toggle-able but thats another plugin so its totally up to you. I think the option for both is always ideal however is there a quantifiable difference between them in terms of performance and power? I think I like the aesthetics more of the 5 segment SSSRB than the KW style solids. If you are going for an SLS aesthetic style thing then I would say go with the SSSRB's for the SLS style thing. For the other launchers I say stick with the KW solids. I think the rockets that launch the infrastructure for the mission should look beefy and utilitarian thats what the KW solids offer. The rocket that launches the crew is where the whole world is watching so it should look the nicest and have the cleanest and most appealing lines.
  8. I would actually love to see your talents go towards real world concepts that never really had a chance. I am sure if you delve into the concepts of rockets and planes that never got off that ground you could find a lot of interesting stuff. What about the NASA warp drive concept?
  9. ahhhhhhh ok! IDK if Im more excited for .24 or your next update. I think by default I have to say .24 but i swear the anticipation is really close.

  12. I think an IVA is essential and dedicated parts for it are obvious solutions. However I think a reasonable looking adapter for it so I can use it as the command Capsule on interstellar voyages would be great too. I mean something that blends seamlessly into the shape and possibly a decoupler so I can return it to Kerbin without it looking like my ship broke apart. I think the potential for it to be a "top of the line" capsule in the new contracts and money system is huge. But right now its collecting dust in my hanger. I don't think I ever used except when I first started playing and made some really wonky looking rockets.
  13. Fairngs or payload shrouds. I have used tons of mods and I like them. I probably wouldn't use the in game ones even if they did make them but it seems that if you want to play the game vanilla, in terms of parts fairings are a glaring omission. That and the ability to transfer to other capsules and pods without eva. Again I KNOW mods exist for this I have them but anything that makes my game data folder smaller I am all for. Even with 64 bit compatibility coming.
  14. I love the ISS community Mod but it can be really laggy, its not quite finished, and it has its bugs. I look forward to this because if you combine it with Fustek ISS parts you could make a pretty solid ISS. IDK if you plan on doing the American parts, thats why I mentioned Fusteks, but from what I have seen of the Russian parts I am really excited. Cheers man and good luck.

  16. I think I am gonna have to agree with a lot of the people on here. Working from the top down on this one would probably be ideal. Payloads and fairings, upper stage engines, and then work on the rocket. Just and idea.
