  1. Easiest is to go to Gamedata/Bluedog_DB/Parts/Titan and delete the "Old" folder. Permanent fix, don't need to mess around with downloading a development version.
  2. What Zorg was getting at is if you want to make replicas in stock balance, you need a rescaled system. The alternative would be to have all the BDB parts be extremely underpowered, compared to both parts from other mods and stock parts. I know I have so many bugs and such to take care of with Gemini still but...
  3. Yes to both, with having a compact variant being a much bigger issue for me. The new engine is actually fairly nice, but it would be cool to be able to use it without the giant tankbutt.
  4. So just like, variants with different size holes..? I normally use the CT3 fairing boattail for that. I mean, yeah usually I don't do anything balance wise I just upload the parts so @Jso can balance them when they get a chance. Speaking of Lunar Recon Gemini, that reminds me I forgot to post pics...
  5. Hmm, partner is at work and I have a full pot of coffee... I should do a dev stream. On... whatever this is? Come to the stream and find out!
  6. The adapter is actually new, the engine fits into the Titan avionics truss's open space. You'll have to find some other type of spacer for other configurations (if we don't have something else suitable that's a bit of an oversight) I recently learned that the "winged gemini" would actually still detach the wings and land via parachute? And that's just kinda... dumb?
  7. Yeah probably. I think I got distracted with sudden Mercury inspiration. I feel attacked Oof EDIT: Ahoy, mateys
  8. Hmm, what's this...? Oh, hey, a Gemini launch! But why does it look weird? And why is it launching from... uh, Canada? Ah, now that makes sense... meet the Arrow! A variant of the Gemini manufactured in Canada in @e of pi's 2018 April Fool's timeline, Morning of the Maple Leaf. The only new thing here is the service module, essentially a variant of the fused Lunar Recon SM that trades the extra fuel for a pressurized volume and docking station. Here it is docking to something that isn't quite accurate to the Polaris station from the timeline, but ah well...
  9. So, soon as I saw the second screenshot, I realized what it was. The attach nodes for the Big G cabin were slightly off - I just checked them and both the top and bottom needed to be adjusted. re: the Gemini B SM... god its a mess right now. It needs some more work
  10. Just a heads up, but I'm planning on trying to do a dev stream over on Twitch around 1 PM Eastern time today. Been too long since I did one Oops, edit: Anything in particular sticking out? I was struggling with it for a bit and decided to just get it in game. There isn't really any reference for Big G since they never built a mockup with an accurate exterior.
  11. Just wanted to respond to this - the difference is Multibody only needed a couple of new parts, while doing Freedom or Discovery for example would need basically everything to get made from scratch
  12. I think Bluedog Design Bureau is pretty good but I might be biased...
  13. 1) No, I wouldn't make Freedom or Discovery. They are a bit too modern for my tastes, and would fit a lot better in an ISS mod, since that's what the modules are based on (out of universe, obviously). I did the Spacelab since it was directly derived from Skylab. In terms of what I'd like to see for Apollo-era stations, my general goal would be "expandable Skylab" so more modules that could be combined with it to extend it or used in free flight, etc... there's a lot of proposals and art I have laying around. 2) If I remember, the SRBs were meant to be UA1207s from the Titan program. I don't have a ton of interest in doing the MEM since its a lot more work than it might seem at first glance (plus, as I understand it, the real life MEM design that Voyage's was based on needed some fairly exotic fuels to get the performance needed). I definitely have some stuff I've been thinking about for a long time - some specialized docking ports for attaching the tanks to each other, for instance. To be clear, once I get to Saturn/Apollo/Skylab, the priority will be the same as Gemini now: Getting back to what we have now. New stuff will have to wait until later, though hopefully once I get there I'll finally be at the long-dreamed-of point where I can just relax and make crazy post-Apollo designs and proposals since all the historical stuff will be done
  14. Honestly they haven't really changed - I need to finish Gemini and Centaur and a bunch of small things for this update, and then move on to Saturn/Apollo.
  15. He was making a joke about me recently redoing the part in question to have three nozzles instead of one
  16. I don't think its been touched in... years? Quick peek at the next thing I'm working on - Big G cabin and decoupler.
