[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
Kartoffelkuchen replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I'm sorry? @tree_tchoper21 Could you share some more info about that issue? Are you using RO? 6.4x scale mod? Already tried to reinstall? Someone else had that issue before too, a simple reinstallation fixed it for him. -
You're awesome @DECQ Seriously, you are doing an amazing job at this!

[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
Kartoffelkuchen replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I don't do RO stuff. As far as I know, Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 1.0 are RO supported, last time I checked the RO folder. I can ping the RO guys and see if they are up to doing the configs needed though. -

@Felbourn Here you go. http://www.mediafire.com/download/2j4v2f2oacw61el/KK_radialHoldingTank.zip License is included in the download. I've just made the tank itself 0.625m with 200 units of monoPropellant, just change that to whatever you want, you're the master of konfigs. Hope you like it EDIT Just realizing that mediafire links got "banned"...should I upload somewhere else? :/

Kartoffelkuchen replied to NecroBones's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
See here for detailed thrust curve and specs of the GEM-60: https://www.orbitalatk.com/flight-systems/propulsion-systems/GEM-strapon-booster-system/docs/orbital_atk_motor_catalog_%282012%29.pdf And yeah generally spaceflight101 is a great source too, but you know that already I guess.- 966 replies

Kartoffelkuchen replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases

[1.2.2] Space Shuttle System new release 26.01.2017
Kartoffelkuchen replied to DECQ's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
That's easy. For modulejettison, you basically specify a part of the mesh which should be jettisonable, enter the name into the cfg, that's it. Emessive textures is also not that hard, check out this tutorial: Hope this helps. -
[1.2.2] Space Shuttle System new release 26.01.2017
Kartoffelkuchen replied to DECQ's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thank you! Yes, I am working with .23 Parttools. I see you seemed to have problems with animations, because you used unity 5. You will have to use Unity 4 (4.2.2f1 is the version I use I believe) and the 0.23 Parttools to make animations work. -

I think this should get a little more publicity. *Push push* Very nice mod @DECQ! -

[1.3] kOS Scriptable Autopilot System v1.1.3.0
Kartoffelkuchen replied to erendrake's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
And I am back, with version 11 of my kOS landing program! What's changed? I've completely rewritten the program, it's much cleaner, easier (to understand heh) and more precise than the previous ones The base is working perfectly, I will only change some factors in the future, to make the landings perfect, the hardest part is done, just some tweaks The program can now handle incredibly high TWR's (>5 - unlimited), due to better formulas etc. My program I previously showed off in a video was only able to reliably land rockets up to a max. TWR of ~4.5 THe program can now make a much better estimate of how long the landing burn has to be, because it now calculates the TWR the vessel has right now, but also calculates how high the TWR will be after the landing, so it takes the average out of these two to fine-tune it's landing burn Steering is currently being worked on, but I first want(ed) to get the throttling done properly! Here's a DSCOVR - like landing attempt of my Falcon 9 first stage in the ocean (Remember, only the landing itself is actually done by the program - for now... -
[1.1.2] Realism Overhaul v11.0.0 May 8
Kartoffelkuchen replied to Felger's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Just checked the RO folder, RSB is there and seems to have all required patches for all of your rockets, but it's not in the Suggested list, as you said... -

@NathanKell Could you add my "ATK Propulsion Pack" to the "Suggestions" list please? -
[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
Kartoffelkuchen replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
You'd have to set all "scale =" in the SpaceX folder's part cfg's to 0.6831 to make it match KSPs 2.5m standard size. Maybe I'll include a config and craft files for that, but for now you'll have to make your own crafts after editing the scale. -
KerbalStuff.com is SHUTTING DOWN
Kartoffelkuchen replied to GGKSPMC's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Heyhehyhey. What's going on here? Have you read Squad's comment about Kerbalstuff? I don't think people will get a good impression of this when you see something like above on the first page.- 25 replies

Haha, no, you misunderstood me. I meant that I thought that there's always a camera drone / quadrocopter / however at the barge, filming the first stage landing.
-
Isn't there always a drone out at the barge, like on CRS-6?
-
This looks interesting!

[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
Kartoffelkuchen replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Guys, what's wrong with you? The fairings do work fine, at least for Atlas V. @lextacy Wrong, it is fixable, and I fixed it mostly. The ULA mod is not really Squad related, it's an initiative from both ULA and some members of this community. Wait a bit please everyone, you'll get the Atlas V etc. (Back) soon. -
[1.7.2] KK Launchers - Delta, Atlas Pack
Kartoffelkuchen replied to Kartoffelkuchen's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@DarthVader Missing a Delta there. We, or I, defineteky have no issues or problems with ULA, that's not the reason I took the Atlas pack down.
