  1. @kujuman @nli2work The WildBlueTools has Plasma TV Screens of different sizes. You can load any image onto them from the "Screenshots" folder.
  2. Lol, I'm a rover lover and I think I spent around 60 hours just roving on the Mun. Circumnavigated it twice on different saves. The Mission was to visit all the arches and monoliths on one rover. Those thrills of 80m/s speed when riding down slope... good times. Just found this topic, didn't know it was a challenge )
  3. If mining is allowed - all the levels are super easy.
  4. I've never seen anyone doing this craziness. Meet a killer asteroid while flying a spaceplane in Kerbin's atmosphere. Preferably D or E size. It must be a spectacular view ) * Extra hard difficulty - Follow the asteroid and see its impact. Stock parts preferred but not necessary. Known data: Asteroids despawn below 25km altitude on Kerbin if they're not in physics range. If you didn't switch to the asteroid while it was flying by it will unload after exceeding 2.3km range and continue its orbital path unhindered by the atmosphere. Most parts will explode during this mission if not shielded. Better TimeWarp mod is very useful for slow motion precision.
  5. The one by ZDF is probably the same as the one by Jones International University I found on youtube. Full video name: Life on a Space Station (The Mir Chronicles)
  6. @Old_Gaming_Geezer Interesting thread, loved the shuttle design. Looking forward to see what you found for your next vid ) I made a curved wraparound tank for various uses, you can find it in my thread.
  7. I just watched "The Mir chronicles" video, its fairly recent with lots of footage one could find only in russian documentaries. You're totally right ) "Mir" herself will require at least 20 episodes of attention.
  8. I believe @RoverDude was using two separate parts to connect the trailers. The camera follows the pulling truck, which means that the center of mass didn't shift, each trailer is a separate vessel. You can also notice the realistic interaction between the two loops. Doing this with docking ports... do you think bending the connection between parts will be safe for save loading? We'll need a word from RoverDude himself on the trick behind this magic.
  9. @politas I see. Looks like Git wiki needs updating ) Thank you for the tips. I created the pull requests.
  10. @politas How do I pull two different folders from the archive and install them? Or how do I omit installing a particular file? looks like only one "install" command can be issued with only one path. I want to merge the following: "install": [ { "file" : "GameData/KerbalHacks/AsphaltTiles", "install_to" : "GameData/KerbalHacks" } ], "install": [ { "find" : "GameData/KerbalHacks/Extras", "install_to" : "GameData/KerbalHacks" } ] Or omit installing the "GameData/KerbalHacks/License.txt"
  11. Why would you want to hide your awesome vehicle? Nevertheless its not a hard task for me if you need them. What shape and color do you want your roof? @MegaUZI Thank you very much for reporting. I fixed the link. Hope you got it from the whole package link.
  12. You have a ton of modellers following you feel free to ask for anything.
  13. Do you think you'll have enough material to make at least 10 episodes? Not many stations were ever made. The Salyut stations were very similar and not much larger than SkyLab. Stations Mir and Tiangong are quite interesting.
  14. It does work. Still requires Blizzy's Toolbar to appear and suffers from multiplying buttons in the stock applauncher. But that's not an issue for part development purposes.
  15. I made and assortment of flags for my routine missions. Design goal: make them look nice and distinguishable on part decals. Download link in my Kerbal Hacks thread.
  16. CIT NodeHelper has the orientation marker. It will appear as a green line sticking out of the node during edit.
  17. I deliberately removed the volume override for welded pads. Didn't think someone will be carrying them in a container I probably will add this override to the small pads. The patch will be available after KSP 1.1 hits the ground. For now you can add the missing line to the config yourself: MODULE { name = ModuleKISItem volumeOverride = something reasonable stackable = true allowPartAttach = 2 allowStaticAttach = 1 staticAttachBreakForce = 500 }
  18. @Starhawk Oh how I love Orbital mega stations!
  19. @KvaNTy Looks like Draggable Menu becomes stock in 1.1 Full video
  20. The launchpad I have in my base is welded, to reduce the partcount lag, and was manufactured whole via EPL. Towed it with a rover and KAS winches. You can negate the inclination of the terrain by adding some kind of legs to lift one side. Otherwise it will have the same slope as terrain does. The lego version can be assembled via KIS. Here's a small illustration. Looks like some nodes are facing the wrong way, had to rotate some tiles. (KIS issue for "front" and "back" nodes)
  21. @FiiZzioN Thank you for the pictures. The only problem I see now is the attachment node placement. Check out the Monkey Business pack, he has several sorts of hollow tanks there: Meanwhile, the landing pad near my "Black Farside" base:
  22. The sole purpose of Briz-M is to make the rocket shorter. I think it will be hard to click the payload inside the tank. I'll try to make the Wrapper Tank procedural after we hit 1.1
