Stock+Rockets, because i'm too lazy to get KIDS to bump the atmospheric ISP down to something reasonable for FAR in the stock system.

See synonyms: sorcery, incantation, illusion, wizardry, Texture Replacer

As I recall, post count only increments in KSP related forums, so places like the space lounge and forum games don't count.

Actually, you have a fair point there. I imagine since it's also going to be available as a (mobile) app, it's not gonna be TOO feature packed, so the spring 2015 release date makes sense. I wouldn't expect something on-par with civ-5, though it certainly may have the same "feature-to-polish-to-balance" ratio. Of course, I could be totally wrong and this could be the best-selling strategy game on the app store. EDIT: Gamespot got an interview (with gameplay screenshots!) http://www.gamespot.com/articles/sid-meier-s-starships-going-beyond-beyond-earth/1100-6424735/

According to arstechnica: http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2015/01/sid-meiers-starships-goes-beyond-beyond-earth/ "The announcement doesn't go into minute detail on gameplay, but it says players will be tasked with the Civilization-reminiscent tasks of "build[ing] a planetary federation by exploring the galaxy, expanding its influence and domain, researching futuristic technologies and engaging in deep, turn-based tactical space combat."" Gamespot also says: http://www.gamespot.com/articles/firaxis-reveals-new-interstellar-strategy-game-sid/1100-6424728/ "In the game, you'll control a fleet of starships as you journey through the galaxy to complete missions, protect planets and their inhabitants, and build a planetary federation. As you trek through the stars, you'll be challenged to expand your federation's influence and reach. You'll also amass futuristic technology and take part in turn-based combat using a deep roster of customizable ships, some of which you can see in the image gallery above. 2K adds that the missions you'll take on have their own unique maps, featuring "dynamically generated tactical combat" that should boost the game's replayability." That gleans SOME light, but not much. But hey, it's something. (Highlight for me: Cutomisable ships, and "dynamically generated tactical combat".)

'Tis a great moment in Kerbal Space Program history! The green iron crowns power is failing. We need some music to go with it, eh? youtube link: My life flows on in endless song Above earth's lamentation. I hear the real, though far off hymn That hails the new creation No storm can shake my inmost calm While to that rock I'm clinging. It sounds an echo in my soul How can I keep from singing? What though the tempest round me roars I know the truth it liveth What though the darkness round me close Songs in the night it giveth No storm can shake my inmost calm While to that rock I'm clinging. Since love is lord of Heaven and earth How can I keep from singing? When tyrants tremble, sick with fear, And hear their death-knell ringing, When friends rejoice both far and near, How can I keep from singing? In prison cell and dungeon vile Our thoughts to them are winging. When friends by shame are undefiled, How can I keep from singing?

Keep in mind that making logos isn't easy, people get paid to do it. I can't speak for anyone else, but i'm terrible at making simple logos If you want inspiration, you may want to look at real life simple logos, here are some examples. http://www.thelogofactory.com/types-of-logos/simple-logos/ http://www.logodesignlove.com/15-wonderfully-simple-logo-designs (and a duckduckgo search for simple logos) https://duckduckgo.com/?q=simple+logos&iax=1&ia=images

tl;dr version: admins having fun

One of the moderators/admins moved it here, because forum games doesn't let you rep. ...Don't ask me why, i'm just neutral.

...Dang, that's good memory, I can confirm that this is the right directory. The reason search didn't work is, I believe, because program files isn't "Indexed", because normal use of PC's (e.g not installing game mods) generally never needs to use that folder. tl;dr search didn't work because microsoft devs didn't count on people gaming on them

if (stupidpost == True) deletePost(explosions=True) else: pass Python pseudocode, of course. Now, the only reason this would be hard to implement on the forums is defining "stupidPost"... The explosions would be the easy part.

HE KICKS PUPPIES I wonder if someday, green iron crown will have more rep than red iron crown.. What will happen then? Will he become blue iron crown? Reddish-sort-of-yellowish crown? These are important questions. I'll rep him up. FOR SCIENCE!

Newbie interface question
Norpo replied to ArchangelGabriel's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
You need to upgrade your tracking station, I believe. It costs funds, and to upgrade it you right click the building. It might also need an Research and Development upgrade too, I don't normally play career, though. edit: ninja'd >.> -
I'd like to weigh in here; people are treating FAR as though it's some arcane system similar to Dwarf Fortress. It's not. It's literally the way things work normally, and really, it's not that hard. Just strap a jet onto a plane with wings, and it'll fly. Make a streamlined rocket, and it'll fly. Make an asparagus pancake, and it'll flop over on itself. Logic, eh? I would say the learning curve is no different than it is now, in fact it's more intuitive to new players probably than "yeah you can make a brick and it'll fly through the air like a javelin", intuitive is "a javelin will fly like a javelin and a brick will fly like a brick" There's a reason archers in battle used arrows instead of bricks with a holder device to attach them to the bows. Here's some examples. Archer with a bow and arrow. As you can see, it is about to be propelled by a bow (force). Obscured by the flames is an aerodynamic arrowhead. (aerodynamic implement) When fired, it travels and strikes it's target true. (archery target, battlements, people, etc.) The saturn V rocket. As you can see, being propelled by rocket engines, it goes up (force), and it has an aerodynamic design, with a nosecone (aerodynamic implement), and it strikes it's target true. (moon) In a sense, they're the same, basic aerodynamics isn't rocket science, people figured this out millenia ago. Heck, cavemen threw spears, which are essentially rockets propelled by throwing them using an arm instead of a rocket engine. Spears are better for travelling a distance while retaining speed than a random rock. Sure, advanced aerodynamics may be complicated, but you don't need to know that. Sure, if you want to make an extremely hi-performance aircraft, then you probably should know what you're doing to an extent, but the point is, you don't HAVE to. It's not required. If you use common sense, you'll probably be able to fly.

[11/26/15 Update] Say Hello to the Light-Green Group!
Norpo replied to Endersmens's topic in Kerbal Network
Using math*, I have determined the post that would get the most rep from everyone. (yes, everyone) A hi-res imgur album of a U.S.S enterprise (star trek original series, not the naval sea ship in real life) being carried on a boat hanger with a Saturn V replica as a missile, complete with video, witty comments, and a space shuttle, for good measure. Oh, and a car replica, as well. With .craft downloads. *guesses, close enough, eh? If only I could build things that look better than a potato. insta-light-green group (may or may not work) -
I think he/she might be referring to the picture I grabbed, it's low-res; the picture in the OP doesn't work for me (not sure if it does for anyone), if I follow the image URL now it just gives me a dropbox 403 error "It seems you don't belong here? Maybe you should try logging in?" so maybe only you can see it?

Today? Just updated my Scorched Kerbin log. Yesterday I played the save enough to update it.

Hm? A fight between two crowns, fighting for power, and the weapons are +rep buttons? Only one thing to do. Official neutral bystander status.
