1. From how I understand the question, I think what you might be looking for is Alt + Tab on windows operating systems.
2. Apparently the first beta patch is planned to "contain a tech tree that doesn't remind you of the current one at all" and that mk1 plane parts might be moved earlier. Don't take my word for it though, it's around 31:50.
3. I love how they already have a designated test pilot.. "If this somehow works, you're going to fly this thing!" Anyways, more on-topic, I really think that's a screenshot of KSP, to be honest. The I-beam is the same, kerbin is visible, skybox, parts, etc. etc. Whether or not they were trying to imply it was used as THE testing software used, however, I have no idea. It could have just been filler.
4. Also, another way to group them (though arguably a heck of a lot more time consuming, but worth it) is to use that fancy new custom folder in advanced options feature. I used it to group all my Karbonite and MKS/OKS stuff nicely, and I think it even goes through saves, as well.
5. Update 1: Communication: It's in space! "The secret of getting ahead is getting started." -Unknown Days to next Moho Transfer: around 7 days The plan for this transfer is to: explore Moho, make sure it's safe, find high concentrations of resources there (Using the Discovery Probe) and send an unmanned rover to the planned landing site, to make sure it's flat. Right now, we're trying to get the first, arguably most important part of the mission up into space, the Discovery probe. The Discovery probe, along with a transfer stage, is in Low Kerbin Orbit. It's sensors have been tested (e.g it's my first time using ScanSAT), and it's prepared to go to Moho as soon as the next module is ready. Here's some pictures of it, along with it's lifter: (No, i'm not going for realism, why do you ask? ) It all went without a hitch, getting to Low Kerbin Orbit successfully. (The Discovery Probe, still attached to it's transfer stage, planned to be spent while going to Moho.) However, there's still one more thing to do before actually going to Moho. And that is to make the rover. Here's a very early prototype. The Endurance (or, "Pack Rat" rover as it is affectionately known), will contain some light resources in KAS storage bays (not pictured). It will have a seat, for use even after the colony is finished. It is planned to be an important part of the process of colonizing Moho from start to finish. Suggestions? Comments? Want a full 1600x900 picture of any of the ones shown here as your new wallpaper? Let me know!
6. That'd make a good mod, actually. I'm not an expert, but might it be possible through Module Manager?
7. This is the Scorched Kerbin Mission Report. It's indefinitely on hold, and the goal was to make a fully sustainable ground base (in sandbox) on Moho! List of Mods:

Major Mods TAC Life Support, MKS/OKS, Karbonite, Extraplanetary Launchpads (and all dependencies)

Minor Mods KAS, ScanSAT, Stockalike Station Parts

Informational/Graphics Kerbal Engineer Redux, Precise Node, Kerbal Alarm Clock, Texture Replacer (with J's suit pack)

Current updates: Age of Exploration: Update 1: It's in space! 8. I'm going to imagine they didn't want the youtube commenters to say "u said mun y not moon" ad infinitum.
9. I would make an actual signature for myself, but my GIMP skills are absolutely terrible/rubbish/hokum/non-existent. At least i'm okay at making up half-decent quotes! Ah what the heck. Spending another hour mismatching weird blobs I made can't hurt. *goes back to GIMP* EDIT: Well, now I made a tiny little button thing, for when I finally make a Mission Report.
10. <humour>What kind of programmer would use an int as a counter for a reputation system, on a globally used forum framework, without any overflow protection? Madness!</programmerhumour> Now then, we need a volunteer to annoy the admins enough that they negative-rep all their posts.. Then perhaps, there could be one that could join the Light Red group? (I do not recommend trying this.) (This post has been sponsored by Humour. Proud sponsor of the Internet, and Cats.)
11. "How hard can rocket science be anyways?" Relevant, asides from the whole "coming soon" postfixed on basically everything. Since we're in Beta now, perhaps we should look back on some of the old features, trailers, videos, and media in general? *e.g that launch tower which I hear shredded many ships to pieces*
12. Found one, in the asteroid redirect mission video, about 0:55 (the kerbal in the ship). Barely visible, but there for sure (0:59) is very visible. Of course, we're talking about creatures who build spaceships, speak something suspiciously similar to backwards spanish exclusively (but also write in english), and have an unusual attraction to shiny things. (Kerbol flavour text) and haven't yet established a planet-wide civilization (or invented ladders in early career, for that matter) Maybe it's not best to get wrapped into this too much
13. Yeah, this might be the problem. It's the same density, just it acts better. Whereas the old, stock system assumed you were a pancake, now it can tell if you are a pancake or an actual rocket (thus on average making it thinner) (KER readouts should stay the same, I believe) It's not rocket science, but aerodynamics, which honestly is a heckuvalot harder.
14. Perhaps it was taking some of the official videos in mind (Or maybe they do that for whatever reason in Kerbalizer, given it also uses that as a reference.)
15. Better than "Look for FAR Kerbal Space Program Authentic Solutions here. See Solutions for FAR Kerbal Space Program here. Tutorials for FAR Kerbal Space Program. Webmaster, your site could be getting more views every day on your FAR Kerbal Space Program post blog!"
16. My personal guess is that someone pressed the wrong button. or an administrator really didn't like someone So, I guess the rep button, for administrators, has not only "I approve", but also "I disapprove"?
17. No, what you WANT is 11 tons of bacon. (I legitimately couldn't think of anything better than bacon other than bacon.) I want 12 tons of bacon.
18. Technically, it's yesterday, but I spent yesterday downloading a crap ton of mods, because i'm gonna make a base on Moho, and I want it to DO something, dangit. (I asked for help here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/106661-Base-building-usefulness-mods eventually I ended up downloading MKS/OKS, informational mods, ScanSAT, Karbonite, Extraplanetary Launchpads, stockalike station parts, TAC life support, KAS, kerbal joint reinforcement, and probably a few others I can't remember right now. (But my GameData folder has around 23 folders in it) Now, to figure out how all these mods actually work (extraplanetary launchpads is confusing with MKS/OKS, but i'll figure it out ) before I head off to Moho!
19. Nope. Cantab, still telling us the hint *wink wink nudge nudge once more*
20. Mainly because of the convenience, as far as I know. It'd be hard to get the aiming right, and besides, in orbit you can actually use maneuver nodes, and you have time to think about how you'll execute things, also, preperation by docking in LKO, etc. VERY important, especially when you're playing career/no quicksaves. It's just easier.
21. Alright, thanks. Already downloading a bunch of mods as I speak (hopefully the game will still load!)
22. I'm aware that there's a large number of mods that allow for in-situ resource gathering, ship building etc. But what are the ones you would recommend? I plan on making a mission report for a base mission on Moho that I plan to make, but I don't know what mods I should get. Simply put, I want people who have done this to tell me what they've used. This will be in sandbox mode, because i'm too lazy to do it in Career. Mods i'm thinking about: TAC life support (for life support killing kerbals, of course!) Karbonite (refueling ships, also would add more base modules, also plenty of community made parts to support it.) Extraplanetary launchpads (building ships there, but by the sound of it it seems complicated and MIGHT need Kethane to work best? Might be willing to ditch Karbonite for Kethane if this is the case. ScanSAT, just because maps are awesome. Kerbal attachment system, because then I can attach things while I attach other things to things. informational mods, because information. Kerbpaint, because then I can make rockets look nicer (I'll have screenshots in the mission report) EDIT; just read that it hasn't been updated since 0.23, so.. Any other recommended mods? Should I get mod A instead of mod B? Discuss.
23. This. I'm having no trouble with the site. It's probably on your end.
24. Congrats on mod (not that anyone uses this visitor messages widget anyways)

25. I'll admit, I forgot all about the gizmos. I guess i'll need to use them more often, eh?
