  1. My C7-built Kestrel spaceplane is capable of Mun landings. But yeah. I asked for Hunter-Gratzner parts, but no one responded.
  2. DERPco SOS thruster. Also featuring dual parachute system. And two lateral RCS ports for spin.
  3. Assembley and commissioning by Veto Aerospace Industrial. The Tristation is a state of the art space lab, carrying anything that could be needed for experiments in space. It carries six communication dishes, to ensure centrifugal spin does not affect the link with ground control. Aside from the unusual shaspe, however, there is little that is actually special about the station, named Evolab by VA engineers. The capsule carries a single RCS tank equipped with several backward firing ports, to allow the capsule to maneuver and deorbit. This has proven to be a much more efficient, if not as stable, means of propelling the capsule, A burst of RCS in retrograde was able to completely stop the capsule for deorbit.
  4. I wanted to build the Hunter-Gratzner, but there are no suitable mods.

  6. I really like my Kestrel. Make a spaceplane that is armed that can land on Mun, and return to Kerbin. Unlike the Kestrel, it should land mostly intact.
  7. It struck me when watching the film that the shots of a long tunnel down to the lower end of the ship conflicted with shots in the command room, coupled with scenes taken as the Palomino docked with the Cygnus and the size of the docking arm. Disney [i think they made it] didn\'t seem to have settled on an exact size.
  8. A \'few\' is about three to four. Roblox hasn\'t been running for more than six years. /Confusion
  9. Nevertheless, its still a good design for a newbie.
  10. I\'d like to see this land on the Mun. CoughKestrelrubbishimpersonationofbiologicalfunctionintendedtoclearthroatofgerms
  11. You just ruined that ship for me. It only looked good when it was ill-defined, obviously with the large central body, the two huge nascelles and the large bulging back with its own set of engines, but lit up as that model was, it was just disappointing. I imagined a much better looking ship than I\'m seeing. Sad now.
  12. Maybe because dumping Kerbals in deep space doesn\'t quite give them the same survival edge as habitation modules do.
  13. The Cormorant is a medium-range STOL spaceplane, developed to have reasonably good maneuverability, with a short fuselage to give a smaller landing and takeoff footprint [allowing for shorter takeoffs], and four engines set in a radiation-warning symbol pattern to give bursts of surprising speed. It is unfortunately quite unstable, and this can cause a lot of in-flight difficulty. However, its \'fret\' to crash ratio is surprisingly low, since when it loses control its engines are usualy sent facing down naturally, and a crash can be prevented by simply gunning it upwards. It is also, unlike many VA craft, highly adept at multiple takeoff and landings, using much less RCS gas than other models. As with many other Veto Aerospace vehicles, it carries a heavy-duty RCS system, with both down and forward facing ports to ensure it can both slow down its forward speed and its downward fall. It is recommended that combinations of rolling and yawing, or yawing and pitch be used when steering. The first for turning port, the second for turning starboard. Its military applications look promising.
  14. Thanks Kryten. And with the missiles, I used Jellycube\'s Wasps because they can fire even after undocking. With the Avia still attatched to the launch platform, unlike the spaceplane carriers of the missile, having the Wasps fire before undocking the missile tears it apart.
  15. Iconic in its own way, but I don\'t think the water skids work in this instance. Remember, you\'re currently up against Tim, a master of building smeg from C7. Whilst I really like the idea of a tri-spaceplane, the skids ruin the effect.

  18. That\'ll be good if you can get it to space.
  19. The Defender was built by Veto Aerospace as a means of deploying VA\'s Avia ballistic missiles from space, in answer to a missing place in its own range of launch platforms. This series includes the Gannet, Albatross and the prototype Kittiwake. Also in development is the Defender\'s sister station, the Tiger Strike, which will carry the more advanced Avia variant Hawk guided missile, which will carry a remote CAC module to send it exactly on target. The Tiger Strike will be carrying some scientific equipment to balance for the unneeded command capsule.
  20. That\'s cool. Current holder of \'Jeb\'s favourite cool ship builder\' award.
  21. Simply put - I like yours better.
