I usually use this chart, and applied it to someone claiming to be my nephew. I said some stuff to try to put him off (I already know my 3 brothers, none of them have kids, so what are the chances?) about being a drunk uncle and stuff. Asked my Dad, and it turned out I had a half-brother I didn't know about. So the guy messaging me really was my nephew. He really doesn't want to speak to me anymore. Soo... no, it's not always a scam. If they request money, definitely be wary, but don't always assume it's a scam...

I'm fairly certain they can make the version numbers literally whatever they want. They are not obliged to be in exact chronological order, or even make sense. They usually do, because not confusing people can be important for a company. After all, how many patches were between .25 and .90?

Where's the actual link to the stream? I see tons of links, but none of them seem to take me to it... Edit: Here we go http://eutelsat9b.imgondemand.com/ -
Man, what I wouldn't give to be in a position where an i5-6500 needs to be upgraded Assuming you're mainly going for gaming, I believe the i5-6600K would be the next step up. As far as I've heard (and I may well be wrong) i7s are generally better suited to heavy video editing than gaming. Then again I'm still rocking an AMD FX-4350, so what do I know

North Korea's 5th satellite attempt-7th Feb 2016
Slam_Jones replied to xenomorph555's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Regardless of politics, I am always happy to see countries (especially those considered "third-world") making efforts toward the space industry. Even if they are North Korea I wish them the best of luck! -
People really honestly believe in a Flat Earth? I encourage them to go to the edge and take a picture. I'd love to see it!

If it were me, I'd attempt to re-install Steam. Not sure what to do if that doesn't work.

Hm, I've done a bit of Duna colonization in the past, and unfortunately none of my pics had any cliffs or otherwise steep areas. If I remember correctly, most of the terrain is sloped, but usually between 2 and 5 degrees. The only steeper areas were (obviously) the sides of hills, though even then it's usually only about 10 degrees slope. As I was looking for flat spots I never took much note of steep areas. And because why not, have some pics from my Duna colonies (you can even see the general slopiness in the background... not often steep): (Buildings from Civilian Population mod; not sure if it's still supported)

Wait... you meant you saw it at the loading screen... Disappointed! I thought someone actually found it on the Mun. Also, seen it too many times to count. Then again, I've put 1,000+ hours into the game.

I'm not crying! No! It's... it's dust in my eye. Yeah...

That it does, thank you!

Hypothetical here: if a person has a single stick of RAM (let's say 8gB), and then upgrades from a Mobo with 2 slots to a Mobo with 4 slots. 3 slots are still left open. What's the best path from there?

I'm looking at this thread just to figure out what MPL means, too. I'm guessing it's the Mobile Processing Lab?

Good catch, didn't realize I missed a word... yes indeed, Twilight ZONE, as in the old sci-fi TV series about unrelated fictional events, and NOT the human/wolf/vampire love story movies.

I like dogs, but I sure don't put down cats because of it. Seems to be the owners that are usually, well, jerks. As seen here.

Personally, I like the "ore" system. It doesn't need to be any more complicated than that for a vanilla game. Adding new resources is actually alarmingly simple. Editing your ISRU to use different resources is also alarmingly simple. Editing your ISRU so you actually have 5 different variations of the same part (each specialized for certain materials) is also alarmingly simple. I'm sure there are guides that explain it for you, but if not I can give you a quick run-down of how it's done. It actually is not all that difficult to implement the above posted chart: it just requires a ton of different parts and resources. If you don't mind all the converter parts looking the same, you can re-use the ISRU with new values, and rather easily. Adding resources is even easier than that.

An obscure shape with an edited human face. It appears to hold the rotary valve still while the other visible one (and presumably the rest) spin into place. Fairly certain it's a reference to that old Twilight Zone Episode (my memory is a bit hazy, so forgive if I get a few details wrong) where a man sees a gremlin on the wing of the commercial airliner that he's flying in. Nobody believes him (instead being sure that he is crazy), but after the plane lands, it is revealed that a few wing panels were missing, appearing to have been ripped off, ergo implying that he wasn't crazy, and that the gremlin was actively trying to bring down the plane, while hiding from everyone except that one guy. I think Family Guy (and likely a few other shows) have done parodies of this story. So: a gremlin caused the crash! For realizies! Edit: I don't see gremlin as a vote option... will vote it if it appears

The problem starts when they have money and get elected to positions of power... but I'll leave it at that.

Realism aside, I personally prefer the "tank butts." I prefer the aesthetics already provided by the "butts." Forcing us to use the same 3 adapters for every engine is (in my opinion) ridiculous. Personally, I couldn't care less on how realistic it looks. It is a video game after all, and aesthetics are important for a lot of people, myself included. I agree with the mesh switcher for the best of both worlds. But it'll likely be the vocal minority shouting and crying their way to Squad that gets their way.

@Norcalplanner - If it were me, I'd look into an i5-6600K. Supposedly it's excellent value for what you're getting. if/when I upgrade to the LGA 1151 socket, that's the CPU I'll be getting.

According to the website, Rosetta isn't back yet either. http://sci.esa.int/where_is_rosetta/ Very curious what this thread is actually about...
