  1. Has anyone been able to get this to recognise spawn points in Kerbal Konstructs? I have been trying to use RO/RSS and the bumpy runway issue is giving my problems, so to get around it I tried using real KSC, but KRASH doesn't want to let me spawn there for testing

  3. Hi, I've been wondering about my game's performance. The main things that are bothering me (in order) are the loading times between scenes, garbage collection stuttering, and low FPS at ground level. I know I have a lot of mods installed. I am wondering if this is a case of just being too greedy or if there is something else at play? If it is a limitation of the game at this time, then ok (although it is sad, because there are so many good mods ). The game uses up about 9GB of RAM on start up. I am using memgraph. I have SVE installed with Scatterer. I have my antivirus set to exclude my install path. I am running from an SSD. I get about 20-25 FPS at the launchpad with a reasonably detailed 3.75m ship. Stuttering gets worse the longer the game runs (memory leak?). I am running full shadow cascades, full pixel lights (turning these down makes little difference tbh), with full texture resolution and full terrain detail.   5. I have an issue with the helicopter rotors (the ones that come under "Intake Air" (extended filters?)) throwing me off into nether space as soon as they are activated. There are no planets, just empty space. Speed displays NaN, EvE breaks until the game reloads, lots of errors in the log. Relevant section is here, dropbox link is to the full thing.   6. tbf I did find *at one point* that it would stop working after a while, but it has been a while since that happened for me (and yes, it stopped working for all of them when it happened). It might have been a mod that was clashing, so that might be worth kurgut looking into?
  7. There is a bug with some people's installs at the moment, if you read up a couple of comments I've posted about it as well. Can you provide your log file? It might help.
  8. I've been trying to get the night lighting for cities to work for a while now, including playing about with KSPRC's night light configs. Nothing I have done has worked, and I think I might just give up with this The way all of this loads and works together is over my head at the moment.
  9. Anyone had joy running this with OPM + OPMVO? I've tried putting them side-by-side but all that happens is that Spectra's clouds config does not seem to work. Astronomer's pack works with OPM so maybe it can, in theory, be done.
  10. Ah I was having a problem with it not logging anything, it turns out you have to create this folder if it does not already exist.   11. Hi there, I am having a lot of SRB failures (Gen 9, 9 safety rating). On a craft with 2 SRBs, I am getting a failure about once every two or three launches. I'd show you my console output from this mod but uh, I'm not getting anything..?
  12. Awesome mod I use this a lot for cleaning up my parts list between VAB and SPH. Is it possible to select to see *only* particular groups in the filters with a single click? Rather than going "Hide All" -> (Thing I Want To See)? I tried ctrl+click, alt+click etc.

  14. So if you got caught out by the update you're sort of screwed? It's been years since I ran KSP and I forgot all about this version mess.
  15. In my case this mod tanks my FPS a lot harder than in dave's case, going from 110fps to 17, but I do also see a drop in CPU load. Will dropping the frequency of the scan cause problems? I've never used older versions.
  16. How does this work with Custom Asteroids now? Looking at the last change log it seems integration was removed, so what happens if we install it?
  17. I just tried setting MCR_CACHE_ROOT to a directory in c:\windows\temp and that appears to have fixed it. Making a shortcut didn't work for me. I have no idea why this is happening, but now it works. So uh, thank you!
  18. Just tried matlab & restarting, as well as moving to a new folder. Nada. Baffled. Windows did decide to update though.
  19. Hii... I ran the program successfully last night, but now I am getting this error on loading, after which nothing happens. "Unable to read file 'splashScreenGUI.fig'. No such file or directory. Error in => projectMain.m at line 21" I am running Windows 10. Any idea what this is? The file named does not exist in the download, from what I can tell.

  21. Hi, how do I get the city lights textures back? I have tried adding back in the following files from the normal EVE stock config archive: gamedata/boulderco/ ...citylights/ ...citylights/textures/(everything in here) .../citylights/citylights.cfg .../Textures/(everything in here) But my "_CityOverlayTex" line is still showing up red in EvE settings, as though something is wrong (with the value "BoulderCo/Textures/cube", which is default).
