  1. Landing at over 70ms is likely to break things you want to float gently down just above stall speed, which by the number of wings yours has is probably around 30ms

  3. Also I think you are already aware of the scatterer vs Scatterer folder naming thing in Linux? Really @blackrack should rename his, for proper naming, but you are providing configs for his so I suppose it's up to to make it work?

  5. Using the latest SVE and the new Scatterer 0.22, when I went with just plain EVE I didn't have the square cloud textures to the ground or the line above the horizon Edit: I take that bit about the square cloud textures meeting the terrain back, it does it in EVE too

  8. I don't get any dust with rover wheels, I have version 3.3a installed, does it only work in DirectX, I am running OpenGL on Linux. I am not sure whether it is supposed to work with OpenGL.

I hate to burst your bubble but the memory limit is not holding back the number of parts you can have, and while 1.1 can have multiple physics threads each craft is bound to a single thread, there may be performance benefits from other changes but mostly we are still going to be bound to 200 parts per craft to keep reasonable FPS. On the plus side you could have 2x 200 part craft next to each other and as long as you don't connect them it should run fine.

First video uploaded is a spoof of Top Gun I did, I downloaded an old F14 someone made and updated it to fly in 1.05, which it does very well, but I forgot to turn the gimbal off on the engines. Also I may need to check some of the control surfaces, they seem to be moving when they shouldn't, anyway enjoy.
  13. I made an opening credit video for my YouTube channel, I had sort of pictured how to do it for a while. Getting the right angle and perspective proved somewhat more difficult. I am happy enough with it for now. As I get better I will update it one day. I decided to give myself a studio name, because, why not. Deleted because later I realised it was 720p and I was adding it to my projects first causing them to all be 720p and I could not change them, this made them all artifacted and blocky - excrement.

  15. You know the no offset limits mod does not produce modified craft, KerbalX and KSP will still see it as entirely stock? It only removes artificial limits in the editor, the game engine is quite happy with it and anyone running pure vanilla will never even know you used it.

I think the tank looks good and works well, my only criticisms are the part count, I think a lot of unnecessary parts were used, like two monoprop tanks instead of a single mk0 or mk1 liquid tank in the bearing, plus all the plates. My other problem was the probe core controlling the body was backwards, so the tank went forward with s instead of w. Still it's a lot more detailed than my T-54 which has a similar functionality but only 150 parts, I guess it would be too hard to strip and replace the outside so you could use the no offset limits mod to get rid of most of the interior parts and keep the look of Zekes original. I know the symmetry can get really confused when doing that.
  17. I got interested in some speed record craft (1379ms with fairing and sacrificial fairing nose) and extended this plane into a bomber, then added some BDArmory cruise missiles for fun. It can super-cruise (half throttle) at nearly Mach 4 and deliver 2 cruise missiles nearly anywhere on Kerbin if fully fuelled. It almost does not do any other speeds than barely in the air and supersonic. Not what I thought I would be building this week. Download
  18. That used to work in older versions, but a shock cone provides more than enough air at high speed altitude for a single engine now.

I have larger carriers with less parts using just stock mk3 liquid fuel tanks, they don't look as much like a carrier as yours, or have the top speed/turning speed though as they are predictably much more massive. This one is about 200 parts (130m long) but is really just a big raft, you can land an F-14 with two panthers on it though, which not many other carriers could accommodate.
