KSP2 Release Notes

Hi Kerbal101, I'm not the dev (he has not been heard from for a long time) but I have been working with it recently and I use it on Linux too. Did you read the last posts on this thread from a couple of pages back where the latest download is? There is a ModuleManager.dll distributed with the download that must be removed, it is very old and will cause issues. Otherwise with the latest configs posted on this page it seems to work quite well.

Squadcast Summary (2016/01/14) - Squad have a doggy edition
selfish_meme replied to MiniMatt's topic in KSP1 Discussion
We do this all the time with stock builds and I have never found it to be particularly buggy This is more likely and would probably require a docking port code rewrite so it did not build a new joint/resource tree -
Raptor's Craft Download Catalog - Tested & Proven
selfish_meme replied to Raptor9's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Are you going to have a complete ISS assembly as well as all the parts? I was looking for one recently and couldn't find much. I thought they fixed the intake symmetry bug, I remember there was an intake symmetry mod to correct it. -
Alright! now edit the original post with the pictures and descriptions. They are some nice looking planes by the way. With your stock missiles I find a nosecone and basic fins improves the accuracy no end, see here http://kerbalx.com/SelfishMeme/KG-12-Finch

It does concern me in one way, when you paint it you do things to make it look better in colors, that does not necessarily translate into looking good stock. I think before you use paint you must finish the craft as well as possible, because paint will hide little niggly problems like z-fighting to a large extent.

It did, don't worry, I will edit my first post to encourage any craft as soon as he posts some

WWII Replica - Vought F4U Corsair
selfish_meme replied to selfish_meme's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I did like it and I have modified it to have a larger propeller The program itself is not busted, but it was bundled with an old dll that you have to remove and you just need some updated configs, you can get them from the last page of the thread, Azimech's has more parts than mine, but it is trivial to add more. -
For you, made a few changes to make it more palatable without the paint.
-
That was an aesthetic choice, but I have changed it, thanks for the feedback

I tried this as well, I could not get structural plate to go white, so I plastered it with decals of plain white, while it worked there was no texture at all

WWII Replica - Vought F4U Corsair
selfish_meme replied to selfish_meme's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Yeah, like I said on KerbalX, it needs another half an antenna length to be the right scale. I don't know whether to bother updating, I am sure most people would not pick it. It also means deleting and re-uploading on KerbalX which is a pain. The mod said it needs tweak scale to change the size of the decals, unless you want to add more parts like Flag Decals. I think it flies OK, what about you? -
WWII Replica - Vought F4U Corsair
selfish_meme replied to selfish_meme's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
It would be nice and I think there was a mod that allowed it, something like this http://www.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal/225776-nebula-decals have not tried it in this version, maybe we could get the source and see if it will recompile in the new version. Though it requires Firespitter and Tweakscale -
So this has been hanging around in my hangar for ages, as many of you have probably seen. Well now is your chance to fly it. This version does not have the rotating prop due to wanting it to look a bit more authentic. Again, you will need KerbPaint to see the colors and Flag Decals if you want to put the pre 1947 US Marines markings on it. If you want the flag let me know, actually if you want any of the flags you have seen me use let me know. If it's popular I will put a flag pack together. Download

Stock Tank Track (belt drive) development
selfish_meme replied to Majorjim!'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Of course, if you don't care about reloading, you would not need the probe core, you have done it again Major- 48 replies

Yep, it's on this same first page of these forum threads about 4 from the bottom http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/119654-wwii-bomber-vickers-wellington-mk-x/ I released it ages ago, I just did a paint recently, sadly it's not my best work and I wasn't really happy with it but didn't think I would go back and do any more on it, plus I had the Duna pack to finish.

totm june 2018 Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
selfish_meme replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
It is slightly buggy in all graphics environments, it is not released so we really shouldn't expect it to be perfect, though OpenGL is the worst. Sucks for us Linux users, have to do scene changes a few times to get it right. In other news did anyone see rbrays transparent cockpits he is adding to eve, you will be able to see through all windows! -
You mean the Wellington?

I was going to say your tail elevators are all over the place but yes I noticed the Kerbal! -
WWII Bomber - Vickers Wellington MK X
selfish_meme replied to selfish_meme's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
You sure? It probably is a bit too swept, need to reduce the angle a touch, but I released this last version, I just took some new photos -
I would say that you design slightly differently, I find with KerbPaint I am not too worried about z-fighting, also I used solar panels for the windscreen rather than a frame of struts, it doesn't matter a great deal it still looks good without the paint, I probably would have made a couple of different decisions though.

Space Launch System!
selfish_meme replied to SpaceLaunchSystem's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
You are replying to a thread from a year ago, I doubt anyone in it is still active, how do we report necroes these days? -
You should not need any fins at all, if it does, then either you are going too fast through atmosphere, so TWR too high, or you have a very light un-aerodynamic nose. Your using a poodle on your first stage which is a poor rocket for in Atmosphere work, which is probably why you need the jet boosters to conserve fuel and get the TWR up. A mainsail and more fuel would be a better mix.
