  1. Oh sorry. I was going on the recent comments that FAR wasn't a dependency Maybe it's ripe for an adoption? I will look into creating the organization you suggested
  2. Lights are either off or on. Every time something else gets added, it adds complexity and overhead
  3. that's the latest I am interested in any exceptions which you see with it
  4. Next beta will have the KuddleKorner lights going on automatically when two kerbals (male & female) are inside
  5. Respectfully, when it comes to scientific research, it's impossible to say what is missed by delays like that. On paper it looks good, but going cheap on R&D has caused numerous issues over time.
  6. I did a minor update to EvaFollower the other day when I saw your log, are you using it?
  7. On the other hand, with things like this, you could send 10 probes and suffer 100% loss because of an overlooked issue which would have been revealed with more R&D.
  8. Looks like this got posted in the wrong thread
  9. For those interested, I have a new beta: New beta, 1.1.2.4, BETA 3 Added KSPField to define KSPEvent guiPrompt in the module Kuddle Shack part made/contributed by @Nils277 Added need for time to be spent together in Kuddleshack Added visual update message for amount of Kuddle time spent Added setting to control the amount of time need to Kuddle Added setting to control frequency of visual update message Made base class to consolidate and simplify code Added resource requirements to the KerbalRecruitement Deleted due to return of @zer0Kerbal

  11. Absolutely agree. I think we are both saying the same thing, in different ways. Initial R&D is expensive, after that, prices get lower
  12. Please try it with ONLY EvaFollower and nothing else. I'm not seeing any nullrefs when I test, I would need to know exactly which other mod is causing issues with it . Once you have it working without NullRefs, add them one at a time and see which starts causing the problems. Also use a clean save for this
  13. The "cheaper" instruments may not get all the information, they may not be as sensitive, etc. What you are missing, IMHO, is that it takes a lot of R&D to do the initial development of anything, the "cheaper" comes AFTER the work. The initial R&D is always expensive, the savings come down the road. Exploration is, by nature, usually the first time it's been done. There have been very few probes of which there were multiple, and even then, the numbers were very few. By the time you are able to get the cost of the probes down, a lot of money has been spent to do so.
  14. Wow, that sounds like SpaceX's business plan. You made a mistake, though, regarding space probes, rovers, etc. Those are one-off designs and builds, and by the very nature of that, are going to be expensive. Reduced costs come from repeating actions, as in reflying boosters, fairings, etc.
  15. Well, I don't know why you needed to scratch your head restarting was just an extra step, and was originally needed. I've updated the OP with current information
  16. So, please explain the scenario in detail. Every step you do, every click, is needed. Did you start from the Space Center, from the Tracking Station, were the kerbals already on the runway (or wherever they are), where they are, etc. You have 247 mods installed, a number of which affect EVA Kerbals. Please create a new install with a minimal set of mods and try to replicate it. It's quite possible there is something wrong in your savefile itself, but I can't really comment on that. And, just FYI, the problem appears to be starting much earlier than the snippet you posted. I also saw some errors related to WalkAbout, not sure what's going on there
  17. Whichever is best for you. Just let me know when it's done, I'll wait to release until then
  18. First off, the file is deleted, I can't download it. Second, the snippit is useless, since there is something else causing the issue. I tested this yesterday, and it worked fine, so I need the log to see what's going on. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with what was wrong with WalkAbout. That was a bad build, the wrong DLL was included with it, so it had nothing to work with. In this case, something is breaking, but it's obviously trying to work
  19. Yeah, ok. I just tested it on 1.11.2,worked fine for me. So you might be running into a mod conflict. I'll look for a log tomorrow morning, don't forget to ping me in the post so I see the message
  20. I'd be happy to curate it, but I'm not going to be doing anything with Waterfall myself
  21. How much more should I expect? I'd like to wait until you have all your updates done before releasing
