I know Novapunch has an RCS ring of sorts, but it's kind of designed for the top of the Freya command module in that modpack and is definetly not station sized. I don't know of any mods that have a generic RCS ring.
-
Well, I sort of have the context. Also, the hand icon is standard for grab/interact in adventure games, so that one was obvious for me.
-
I'd have posted in bug reports, but this is more of a 'whats going on here??' rather than a bug report. I've just noticed that for some reason, the circle bits for the rotate and offset functions have purple rings with them, is one of my mods doing this? I've also decreased graphics settings a little in an attempt to alleviate the memory leak problems, so maybe it's because of graphics settings? Modlist:
-
My guesses: Remove? Store? repair/build grab/interact something to do with weight cancel/close window measure.
-
I'm sure it would, it's just the added challenge of being in space. Would be nice if there was a button to cancel out your relative velocity while on EVA.
-
Might want to update the thread title though, was about to ask if it was updated for 0.90, heh. Moving the ship around when above the VAB is a bit sticky, but um, seems okay. EDIT: I'm seeing purple rings with the rotate and offset functions in the VAB/SPH, is that this mods doing??? Edit: Nope it isn't.

Ksp Crash When When Going To Space Center
smjjames replied to Nicklas's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
I've been getting the exact same (mono): (filename not available): mono_unity_liveness_has_parent_class spam in the stack trace with similar crashes as well. I've tried to get help about it but nobody has any clue what's going on with it. I also get it when recovering a vessel too. Unfortunately, there seems to be absolutely no answers as to why, other than a memory leak or something. You also have a bunch of null reference errors related to the Procedural Parts mod (I think), may want to look into that, although it doesn't seem responsible for the crash. -
[1.3] Kerbal Joint Reinforcement v3.3.3 7/24/17
smjjames replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Theres a bunch of links around the thread, but yeah anyway, here: https://github.com/ferram4/Kerbal-Joint-Reinforcement/blob/master/GameData/KerbalJointReinforcement/Plugin/KerbalJointReinforcement.dll just click raw to download it. A few pages back, someone else reported some issues with KJR and hyperedit, don't know if the Jan 17th dll fixed it, but even if it doesn't, it still fixes some issues with docking.- 2,647 replies

[1.3] Kerbal Joint Reinforcement v3.3.3 7/24/17

Have you tried removing KJR to see if its actually causing the problem?- 2,647 replies

Yeah, I suspect that may have been the cause of that one craft glitching out. Plus theres the warning that Roverdude has about placing stuff on inflatables before they're inflated (and without decouplers), so, there's probably something to that.

[1.2.2] B9 Aerospace | Release 6.2.1 (Old Thread)
smjjames replied to bac9's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I've been getting these as well. When I asked Sarbian about those reflection exceptions (which are coming from KineTechAnimation I think?), he said that a quick search of KineTech shows a lob (whatever he means by that) from 2013. What does KineTechAnimation do exactly anyway and is it safe to remove?- 4,460 replies

Hm, is the xray diffraction experiment supposed to be able to get science from low orbit? I accidentially got it on the Mun by starting the experiment while landed and taking off while the experiment is still running. I do have CSS, so, maybe that added it? All it said was 'x-ray diffraction data of the mun in low orbit accquired' or something similar.
-
I swear that I was getting a lot when I was using the smartRCS. Anyways, it seems more stable now (aside from an outright windows CTD that left no crash log earlier). Also, do you know what the heck is going on with those reflectiontypeload exceptions? I've been getting LOADS of them for some reason.
-
Nah, I think it's okay. I also like the hover fan you put in there, works great with KFs antigrav repulsors. What would make it even BETTER, is to have a reverse thrust mode.

Be careful with having parts on the universial stack adapter when you resize it, it may or may not cause problems.

Hey Sarbian, I've been getting lots of wierd crashes (along with NaN error problems in output log) and lots of exception spam coming from mechjeb, so I'm rolling back to #401, which is the previous stable (for me) dev version of MJ. http://sta.sh/0irl0ug9gs4 Most recent output log and a whole bunch of crashlogs that may or may not be caused by mechjeb. I've recently been having a strange crash where after a while (or after some scene changes) the lighting starts glitching out and when I change scene again, it crashes. Well, actually, I don't know if mechjeb is responsible for the crashes, just that it started crashing worse (and in a strange way) plus exception spam since I put #402 in.

ExceptionDetector 1.1 [KSP ANY VERSION]
smjjames replied to godarklight's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
What's your modlist? Seeing possible correlations might help. -
ExceptionDetector 1.1 [KSP ANY VERSION]
smjjames replied to godarklight's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Since nobody seems to have any idea how to help (beyond the basic stuff already said) and godarklight hasn't been around, I'm going to have to slowly remove mods and see which one it is. Although I have a suspicion of which one might be interfering. -
[1.3] Kerbal Joint Reinforcement v3.3.3 7/24/17
smjjames replied to ferram4's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Ferram really needs to push out a release version of that, IMO. If only to reduce the confusion from a bug already fixed in the latest dev.- 2,647 replies

ExceptionDetector 1.1 [KSP ANY VERSION]
smjjames replied to godarklight's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Oh whoop, that's a slightly old image, but the exception detector folder is in there. Though maybe I should just update the image. Edit: *grumble* Since KSP decided to just now crash when I recovered a vessel, I'll just update now. I'm grumbling over the crash, not the updating. Edit2: *whacks the forum software wif a trout* Stop thinking I want to delete the post when I go advanced edit Edit3: Modlist image now 100% up to date. -
ExceptionDetector 1.1 [KSP ANY VERSION]
smjjames replied to godarklight's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I suppose I should post a list of my mods if anybody wants to figure out why the heck this isn't working for me. I've posted an output log or two already. Most of them are self explainatory, Nereid is nereids SAVE backup system, the USI folder has FTT, Karbonite, and MKS/OKS in it. -
ExceptionDetector 1.1 [KSP ANY VERSION]
smjjames replied to godarklight's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I used the dll from the download, I wouldn't know how to compile it. As for nested folders, all the downloaded zip has was the gamedata in there, then exception folder, and then the dll and license info. I put the exception folder (the one in the zips gamedata folder) into KSPs gamedata folder. I did a resinstall once already, but I suppose I can try again. I'll delete MMs cache just to be sure. Nope, not triggering, I've had these exceptions so far. Oh, I've just noticed that the output log reads exception detectors version as 0.0.0.0 for some reason.: NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at ActiveTextureManagement.ActiveTextureManagement.SetupLoaders () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at ActiveTextureManagement.ActiveTextureManagement.Start () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) ReflectionTypeLoadException: The classes in the module cannot be loaded. at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.Reflection.Assembly:GetTypes (bool) at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KConfigDocumentationGenerator.GenerateAssemblyDocumentation (System.Reflection.Assembly assembly) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KConfigDocumentationGenerator.Generate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at KConfigDocumentationGenerator.OnLevelWasLoaded (Int32 level) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) (I'm having a lot of these, no idea where they're coming from) NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at ExLP.ExToolbar_BuildWindow.OnDestroy () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) MechJeb module MechJebKMGimbal2Ext threw an exception in OnStart: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'km_Gimbal_2.0, Version=1.0.5347.43069, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies.
