Apollo-A-Like Mission to Mun Stock Parts
legoclone09 replied to Sirad's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Great job! I loved it! -
Tantares and Bluedog Design Bureau have 1.875m parts, and they look great. They also have 0.9375m parts which are in-between 0.625m and 1.25m parts.

I am just wondering why Imgur is used for pictures, it is blocked on most school wi-fi networks, but it is easy to use. Is it because it is so easy to use or because there is album-embedding stuff in the forums?

US Space Budget: Hell-Has-Frozen-Over Edition
legoclone09 replied to Streetwind's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Our government can do something! I can't wait to see what they get done with it! So much money, so little time! -
Thanks hoojiwana! Will use!

You can add the Blue Gemini parts separately, they are in the main download. I love them! Green Soyuz also rocks. Also the 1.875m to 1.25m adapter? I would like that more instead of a nosecone so we can use it structurally. I would need it to be structural for my stations!

The SETI needed mods are rather low-RAM, the only high-RAM one is Ven's Stock Revamp. You can use a pruner to remove stock textures to save RAM. It is like the CTT and almost all mods work with it, I used it for a long time and loved it.
-
I think the modlist he used is in the description of the video, but not sure. He has the crafts on KerbalX so you can see the mods needed there.

I have a solution! Most homes in the desert or near equator should get solar, but for high-energy needs nuclear fusion or thorium salt reactors are needed, they are safer and some I think can use nuclear waste as fuel. Molten salt reactors were being developed in the 50's or 60's but uranium was favored for some reason.

Farewell! You were awesome!

I would do SETI-CTT and related mods as a tech tree, far more diversity and balance, it also works with tons of mods. I do like 64k or Kerbin 365, they make the game much more challenging. For 64 though I recommend SMURFF, it makes fuel ratios and engine weights better and more realistic.

I have seen then, but the black diamond puts me off, I dont like it on there. Maybe I can ask him how to remove it. Thank you though!
-
Hello, and could anybody tell me if there is a mod that uses stock textures for 45* RCS thrusters? I really need those for some ships but the ones from Ven's Stock Revamp are not stock enough.

[1.4.X] Taerobee - Stockalike X-1 and More [27/01/2017]
legoclone09 replied to Beale's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
@Beale Will there be the Tiny Tim booster to go along with the WAC Corporeal? I think that is what was used on some of them to boost them up. This is what it looked like with it: -
Thanks, @curtquarquesso but what did you do for mounting the full cells on it? I forgot to ask. @Beale, I assume the terrible Fuji textures are from the revamp in progress? But, the mod is one of my must-haves and I love making stations with the parts.

That's what it does for forum links since the links are handled differently since the IPS switchover.

@curtquarquesso Could you tell me how you made the Apollo CSM for the ASTP video? Relating to that, why was it seemingly never finished?

I have used this with the latest version of Kopernicus and it works fine, why not update to 1.0.5 on CKAN so I don't need to manually add it in to my gamedata and have CKAN not detect it? I've had not a single problem aside from the space one where it freezes in career, but that was a while ago.

You might want to find the circumference of the orbit (semi-major axis * 3.14...), and then divide it by the velocity to get the orbital period expected, not sure about n-body physics, though.
-
Thank you! It took a while to make, I'll make another soon. Probably over winter break.
-
Thank you! That is the second time someone has stolen one of my design since they like it.
