Hard slow climb but reach - ultralight tiny low-tech SSTO based on just 2 Juno engines: Launch mass 6.3 tonn, dV LKO=21 m/s. Enough for landing to KSC runway though. -
@linuxgurugamer thank you, but... 117 Mb?

Light simple career SSTO, based on 3 Juno engines. Tech level: need 4 science90 technology (3 if w/o solar panel). dV on LKO = 685 m/s. -
Anybody here knows/remember something about old crazy-but-revolutionary technology of rocket boring?

Cave style minimalism - Science45 stock HTOL-SSTO LTS-6: Just 1 gimballess engine (LVT-30), just 6 t of propellant, just 13 parts, just 6618 kerbucks at launch. Launch mass less 9.3 t, left DV on LKO 50-60 m/s - enouch for soft deorbiting and land to runway. Low Kerbin Orbit 74x72 km, 51 m/s dV left. Full flight album: http://imgur.com/a/VtC12 -

Many thanks for your excellent mod, but For what? Visually it's almost insensibly. IMO for this mod would be very desirable built-in WELDING ability (transform to 1 part) for close-contour assembles. And, may be, procedural plates and triangles. All basic tubeframes-design stuff in 1 mod.

Imo using omni instead a default KAS tool is great and must have. Anyway, you decide.

Not really build, but put a static object on skybodies surface... theoretically. Imho it not a quite good idea, anyway it is not included in KK's editor ability. -

Hmmm... Some myths of 90th years emerges from the memory depths... Imo, more honest active ablation technology must to consume of some liquid fuel as ablator, and to increace of mass for parts with active ablation enabled (maybe +20%). But anyway this high-tech deserves of last level in tech tree, even after rapiers.
