  1. Heh... I did some changes to GPO so that the folders are localised in one called GPO, and that scatterer is now only within the GPO folder. This cause cause some problems with your own patches. Would you like the updated version before its public release?
  2. You should be running the most recent version of BK. Also follow the above ^^ that should fix it for ya.
  3. Sorry for the late response. I've been busy working on AfK and bringing GPO up to date with 1.3.1. @DjPreside has made an amazing logo for the mod, and his work is definitely creditable. here it is!
  4. 745M is below average, so it's probably that. Also your processor speed. You have enough RAM. That's what E.V.E. does. I'm waiting on a better volumetrics system, because E.V.E's is horrendous. You can always delete Clouds.cfg from GameData / After Kerbin / EVE, if you want.
  5. If you want to get less lag, delete Enrivonmental Visual Enhancements. It means you don't get clouds, but your performance will drastically improve The main planet rotates slowly because it is tidally locked. One side always faces the sun.
  6. You are playing on 1.3.1. In order to be able to run the game on 1.3.1, please follow these instructions: Delete Kopernicus and ModularFlightIntegrator from your AfK install. Download this: https://github.com/Kopernicus/Kopernicus/releases/download/release-1.3.1-2/Kopernicus-1.3.1-2.zip Reinstall Kopernicus and MFI using the file you downloaded.
  7. This is also coming in the update. I'm renaming the normal map textures to <planet<.NRM. As far as I know, it's working for After Kerbin which also utilises this. Unfortunately without a Mac there's not much I can really do, so it's very slow going. Luckily i'm working my way through the steps previously posted
  8. Hey all! Expect a 1.3.1 update for this mod soon. It will bring about some good RAM optimisations, thus only requiring 4GB instead of 5. Your game should run smoother with these changes, too. Sorry for the long wait! GPO will also be getting a 1.3.1 update as well as bug fixes and optimisations in the near future.
  9. Not trying to come across badly, but usually there is always a problem with the lander. As I said, it's worth landing the ship after forcing the game to load the planet's scaled and PQS. Can be easily done by automatically setting the ship's altitude to (scaledVersion fadeEnd - 100), then quickly teleporting the ship to the correct altitude above the terrain. As I said before, the problem when the ship lands under the terrain is because as far as the game is concerned, no PQS is loaded for that planet and so it remains a perfect sphere. (With the above pictures, this isn't the case. But it will help iron out landing on other planets)

  11. It is above 0, that is all that matters. It controls how foggy/thick the atmosphere is from orbit. Setting it to 0 fades the land completely and so only the ocean is visible.

  13. Ah... Hmm. Nobody else is getting this - Try pressing ctrl + alt + f11 to bring up the scatterer menu. Set the MapExtinctionMultiplier to 0.7.

  17. If imgur is bocked, use dropbox and paste the image link here, or try a different image hosting site. There are plans for future updates. Most of it is fixes and optimisations, as most of the features are already within the mod. Drissen will be getting a facelift, though.

  19. Before writing the below reply, I would like to say this post is not toned in a negative way, it is on topic, and it is not a personal attack. Instead of creating a 'star mods' after a mod gets a good following, I think they should be selected when the mod looks as if it has acquired a good potential and a lot of effort has gone into it, for example: A development thread which outlines the progress of the mod. A trailer (if applicable) detailing what the mod can provide users. These two combined show the effort which is put into mods. As for some ---> constructive criticism <---, I think squad should note that a lot of fleshed out, decent, high effort and outright amazing mods have NOT been in the spotlight. They should definitely look back at some mods and consider showcasing them. Remember, squad is not "just for fun", squad is a professional company - star mods shows what Squad can do for the community, and saying they're doing this "just for fun" goes against that point. I'm all about fairness proportional to the effort that goes into these community made projects. I would love to see more fairness in future StarMods showcases. Thank you.

  22. Having an issue on the latest 1.3.0 version where we will log in and the year will be in the millions, causing the game to bug out and eventually become unplayable. I'm looking to know if this is someone time warping the server all the way up to the millions of years, or whether there's a problem with DMP. Help would be greatly appreciated, because we are unable to tell whether it's someone doing this or something else. Time warp mods are not on the whitelist.
