  1. And thanks to the developers for the "updates", in which they tell how they are working on fixing bugs, are they constructive? The variety of mods for KSP2 is just a pale shadow of what has been done for KSP1.
  2. Status: experiments ongoing
  3. Where is the new code better than the old one? Any details other than the vague improbable possibilities in the distant future?
  4. It’s just that KSP2 has so many large-scale problems that the developers don’t get their hands on graphics. Even the hangar is more boring than it was in KSP1, because life was in full swing there! What is well done in the game? Only tutorials and trailers...
  5. This is a known and uncommented problem of the game. It is even surprising how such a result was achieved in the unity engine.
  6. The answer was to specific criticism of the game on the facts, this is fundamentally different from senseless abuse.
  7. and looks like thy failed More recently, we found out with other KSP fans that no one promised gigantic ships with thousands of parts, even as in KSP1.
  8. It would be interesting to see how you enjoy playing KSP1/2 on the stream. Yes, it is And where is the line where something is ready for release? If this line passes at the level of KSP2 0.1.0, then what about the rest of the features that are not yet ready?
  9. With the release of the 8900ti KSP2 it will be normal to run on medium computers.
  10. Now the main focus is on new orbital thrusters? If serious bugs are the main focus of developers, then in 4 months the progress is not too impressive. What about things that are out of focus? KSP2 is just a whole universe with mysterious laws, no one seems to know what is happening in the game. And with what bug in KSP2 did this happen? And once again - we say that the promised game is the same one that was released in February 2023, but without bugs, or is it about something more?
  11. Here's some weird coverage strategy for a game with constant cuts in quality and quantity. In 2020, we were shown a large colony from afar (I think this is just a one-piece model, there is nothing working there). There were separate parts in 2021. And now nothing at all, just vague words. Now we are shown intermediate engines that have almost no effect on the game. This is a dubious achievement of a PR strategy, this is due to the fact that there is no transparency in the development of the game. In what way? Reports of egregious bugs that were already known to the developers? Moreover, it seems to us that they did not promise the same early access, but only without bugs. It seems that somewhere there must be much more that is not shown to us and that is drawn only in the imagination.
  12. And in what form do these colonies and interplanetary parts exist today? As we recently found out, there have been no new frames with the colonies since 2021. This is an incredible innovation in the development of computer games! That's a great plan, Walter! (c) Apparently some incredible Design, it’s not clear at what point what changed, I didn’t notice any significant changes in the design from the video of the developers.
  13. As we all know, modern graphics are technically unfeasible in KSP in principle, such is the law of the universe. This is done in other computer games, but in KSP2 it is impossible!
  14. And in what place is the physical calculation of KSP2 better and more accurate than in KSP1? Both games use almost the same engine, in KSP2 it is slightly newer. Is it fantasy to justify the developers or is it based on some kind of facts?
  15. It's simple - KSP2 v. 0.1.2 cannot pass the license agreement if Windows has Russian as the main language. To start, you need to set the English language in the settings, agree to the agreement, and after that you can return the Russian language back. Although T2 try to save you from frustration...
  16. As I have noticed, almost any problem in KSP2 is completely unsolvable and difficult, even one that did not appear in KSP1. I wonder why all these complex oscillations push the craft down and not up? Although, since they are random, the orbit must be stable due to constant wobbles in all directions.
  17. Oh my God! And where do these fluctuations in the position of parts come from? Have quantum effects been added to the game? How about tunneling kerbals under the surface? It seems that many fixes will be software workarounds, which will only complicate further work. How many developers are currently working on KSP2, that there is no one to fix and test such terrible and annoying bugs for 4 months?
  18. it's a great honor to have a developer for every three players. I think the developers can already start to personally get to know the players
  19. June 30, it will be FRIDAY!!!!1111 (Somehow we forgot this is a meme of the developers)
  20. Something tells me that no one plans to entertain us with activities during interstellar flights. One could dream of such a thing a couple of years ago, but today it is too naive.
  21. In ksp1, a flight to other planets takes months and years, although each of us is able to significantly reduce the flight time to days and weeks by spending a few more kilometers of the dV. But for some reason, I practically did not see such missions. During the flight to another planet, you can engage in other missions, for example on the Mun. And instead of more fuel and less time, most will take more payload.
  22. To fly to another star, you need a little more dV than to fly to Eeloo. Kerbals do not age, they do not need food, water and oxygen, for them interstellar flight is not a problem.
  23. Interstellar flights are almost as interesting as interplanetary flights. It will just be necessary to turn on the next degree of warp. But since today we have been shown from all science a whole one redesigned part from 2020, and from the whole heating there is a whole one screenshot, then we will have to wait about the same amount of interstellar flights in KSP2 as in real life.
  24. It seems that little has changed in my absence. Fixes are being tested, they may work, they may not. They showed us the new engines, this is apparently something completely basic and should have been released back in February as the "core of the game". I hope someone makes colonies or all developers who know how to make parts do not too important parts?
  25. I wrote more than once that could satisfy me. Something specific from what is included in the roadmap. It is desirable that this be in the video from the game itself. The last time we saw something about colonies was in 2021, for example, after that we were shown only a cut of the old colony from 2020 (just a mesh?). Since then, there are many non-specific words that can be interpreted as you like. If you filter out Nate's entire post, then the patch will have a few common parts and possibly fix complex bugs. That's all. But as I understand it, polite words are enough, we came here for some petting, right?
