  1. I'm much more modest, I had all sorts of alarms, new science, a few part packs, graphical improvements, a mechjeb and, in general, thats all. Other than Kopernicus, there wasn't much that bothered me.
  2. I can't agree. Kopernicus always broke on any patch, but this was a deliberate act of the developer. By the way, with my indignation, I once contributed to the change of one tired developer to another. But most of the mods could live quite a long time. For example, the camera mod worked for years, although no one updated it. Mehjeb and many other mods continued to work fine after the patches. Some big updates did break most of the mods, but it didn't happen too often, once a year or two.
  3. Well, why not let the people responsible for the technical side of the game speak? It seems to me that the constant advertising of several people making models for the game is just wickedness. It is unlikely that any of us slept and saw the fins in the game, we expect something completely different. If you want to brag about something - show something related to colonies, we haven't seen anything with them for over a year. Or something about science. Why did a specialist in writing texts come to the topic to make excuses? I remember at a bad job the boss suddenly added important purchases for an important project to me and for some reason suddenly sent me to talk with the customer, despite the fact that neither one nor the other was on the list of my duties and I was not really brought up to date. As a result, I received a lot of criticism for nothing. It's kind of a similar story.
  4. So what does it mean? All critical bugs have been known for a long time, the developers know that we know that we have been deceived before with stories about polishing the game and how fun it is to play multiplayer. What can be constructive? Singing to the developers? There is almost nothing to discuss in the game, the gameplay is the same ksp1, news are given drop by drop a week, so what do you want?
  5. And how will the party of fans of KSP2 help the developers? Like cheerleaders?
  6. Although the management of the company changed, by a surprising coincidence, the result changed little. Millennium question - why did T2 entrust KSP2 to such a controversial company in 2017?
  7. Fact - no atmospheric scattering, only distant fog By the way, look at this
  8. Given that work on patches began even before the release, I think that not much has been done to bring the game in order. Many fixes were unimportant
  9. Before they was brave and talk about more fixes. Now few fixes... Previously, they talked a lot and, apparently, did little, but now they say little and do too little, so there’s not much to hope for either
  10. It's been 5 weeks since the release of the previous patch, is there still no certainty about which bugs will definitely be fixed?
  11. Really, where can one see signs of sarcasm here? I'm too lazy to look for my previous messages, but I have written more than once that the developers are always to blame for criticism from the players. If they more or less kept their promises and released normal games, then all the criticism would drown in positive reviews and no one would tell how hard it is for gentle developers to work. In my opinion, Nate and his team are incredibly lucky with the community, if, for example, the developers of GTA6 decided to release such an early access game, they would receive a review bombing of unprecedented proportions, and journalists would arrange a tote whether the game would become the lowest rated on metacritic. And then, Nate would have to work in Uber, but another, better known Uber.
  12. Who cares? The right community in 2023 should treat adult developers like kids taking their first steps. Perhaps in 30 years, developers will become the new einsteins of the world of computer game development?! Quantum mechanics does not forbid such a possibility. But the game should be praised for the pictures that the developers draw in our imagination, and not for what we see in the game itself. According to the developers, modern games should have such a community. I heard the opinion that the modern gaming industry is specifically squeezing old-school players into real life, so that they can be replaced by a new generation, accustomed to low-quality mobile games with monetization, who have not seen normal games due to their age.
  13. Modern gaming practices do not involve opening the code of the old game, but removing it from users. So that instead of playing overwatch, players would buy part 2.
  14. To enjoy the game, you do not need to read the forums at all. I only went to this forum to find the latest version of some mod or to complain to the modder about some identified problem, sometimes I posted my videos in the appropriate topic. But... If every news from the developers causes a scandal on the forum, then perhaps something is wrong with the development of the game? Perhaps someone has told incredible stories before about how someone plays multiplayer and after work plays KSP2 for recreation? Maybe someone polished the game for three years and released a pathetic likeness of a KSP1 remaster of the earliest versions? No, this is nonsense! The community is just toxic, unconstructive and bad! Well then, good luck to T2 management to find some other community that will buy the game and praise their great work
  15. I didn't understand what was going on there. As I understand it, the developer wrote that the fan's pessimism is wrong, but he will not explain anything. The help of professional mind readers is needed, since it is impossible to interpret such a message unambiguously. Although I don't really understand where the optimism of the fans should come from, over the past three years, the developers have constantly given reason for pessimism.
  16. Nope, start the game and look at the planets - this is everywhere
  17. And what are we talking about? What until the colonies do not wait years?
  18. It seems to me that in those social networks, KSP2 is practically not remembered. I know several sites where it is no longer possible to talk about this game, since everything is clear to all the other interlocutors. What to discuss?
  19. By the way, none of us is a practicing community manager, so none of us understands how developers should interact with the audience The patch will be released in June, science will be released in 2024, version 1.0 will be released in the twenties, that's all you need to know
  20. Nate is a big talker, especially talking about the game before release. Well, that is never It is much better to show the model of grid fin in the editor
  21. It seems that the developers have adopted this strategy for a long time! And not only with bugs.
  22. If there had been a properly organized development team, then in six years it would have been possible to make a game of acceptable quality with colonies and other things. Now to interrogate the performers, it seems to me, is wrong. If someone wrote a lot of texts with errors, then he is to blame. If the programmers were poorly organized and poorly trained, they constantly left the company and newcomers came to take their place, then management or specifically the one who wrote the buggy part of the code should be responsible for their work. But the management does not communicate with us, as the transparency is rather limited. By the way, no one has ever apologized to us, so it is not clear why forgive the mistakes of those who do not need our forgiveness.
  23. It's just that before there was much more transparency, and even before the patch we were told what bugs would be fixed.
  24. Look guys, I found another KSP2 video that will make you laugh! And even funnier comments under this video on the forum! Remember those glory days (mid February 2023) when we thought KSP2 would be better than KSP1 from 2023 and not like KSP1 from 2012?
