Hahahaha, awesome little video, AGAIN! Scenic route to the island runway??? My word! Great idea and perfectly executed too. You truly never cease to amaze me, but it has to be said that those last few craft have been a joy to fly and even make me look like a pro pilot. Clipping the KSC buildings has never been so easy and so much fun. Thanks a ton!

I, too, would like to see this grow further. Obviously I understand your time constraints, but then again such a project does not expire. Take your time, but keep it up man. Daf

I might be a bit late to the party now, but I can confirm this. A rotated part gives incorrect translation axes in local mode. If there was any dispute, I´m glad I missed it. Thanks to @Majorjim! for bughunting this great mod like a fox, and of course thanks to @linuxgurugamer for creating and maintaining it

hahah, got me. Obviously it would first solidify and then sublime away pretty quick.

just mind to bring some Oxygen

I'd suggest a Twitch account for more attention and views. Whatever you chose, make sure to post a link here. Of course a video would be nice as well, but a live stream would definitely give it an amazing real life feel. I love to watch good KSP streams... it really is a bit like multiplayer KSP, I love the live interaction.

I agree with the others, it is a very nice replica. Good job!

Hahah, nice! The explanation for the bigger Hydrogen tank is simple enough, as you need two Hydrogen atoms per one Oxygen atom for the famous reaction: 2 H2 + O2 -> 2 H2O Hydrogen and Oxygen molecules are always H2 and O2, the single atoms are very reactive and would react with anything in reach, however they are quite happy to "react" with another sibling to form the stable H2 or O2 molecules. Helium on the other hand, which is a noble gas, is quite happy with itself and stays single atom. Thats enough for today

Not bad mate. Some ideas: in your first design the Hydrogen tank (H2) should be about twice as big as the Oxygen tank (02), and if you want to be fancy you could add in the He tanks they'd need for pressure compensation. No criticism, just ideas.

Increase the Thermometer burnup temperature
Dafni replied to dunebugmi's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
I dont know. Because of Squad? The regular thermometers didnt have colliders for a pretty long time. And when they finally got them the part became very relevant for the construction of hinges and all kinds of stuff.- 12 replies

you could just keep on playing 1.2.0 until your mods are updated for 1.2.1. it is easy enough to copy your game folder elsewhere and keep as many KSP installs as you want. And no, usually you dont have to start all over again, as saves usually transfer without much problems between X.X.0 and X.X.1 etc

Coming back to KSP after while- Ship Design
Dafni replied to Stewcumber's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I believe your craft should work just fine. Aero has had some changes, but I dont see many crucial parts on your ship. Maybe just cover all the open nodes on your radially attached boosters and tanks. Tanks with open nodes in the airstream generate a lot of drag. Just add nosecones. Another thing to keep an eye on would be fuel flow. There were some changes there. In the end, there is only one way to find out. Load the craft and try it. You might want to adjust your ascent profile a bit, but the chances are pretty good you could still make it. Unless of course I am missing something. Sometimes a screenshot is not enough, one really needs to fly a craft to find all flaws. -
Hey hey, easy now

Oh wow, the Squall gets a big brother now. Nice. I had heaps of fun with the Squall already. Its a neat design. That clipped Panther reminded me of the old style whiplashes at the first glance. Thanks again for sharing, looking forward to practice my runway landings

MORK & MINDY - Ultralight Dropships
Dafni replied to Cupcake...'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
He uses a joystick. I dont know which one exactly, but definitely a joystick. A ps2 controller should work too, you'll just miss the handy throttle lever. I set up a few controllers and joysticks for KSP myself, if you have any questions dont hesitate to PM me. -
