Neat! Thats a great idea. What about the Cypher? Think that one will survive this time? You might be right about the fate of the Puff Puff, the new bells of those engines made that design almost impossible (landing on the outer tanks etc). As with some other old designs I have a hard time to let it go ... I rebuilt the 0.9 Sprite and 1.0 Toad now in 1.2 too, even thought the atmo changes (lift on Mk2 parts) kinda reduced them to vacuum crafts somewhere along the road. Of course that is not to say your new stuff isn't great too! Keep em coming, and good job on keeping the fleet updated and tidy. Edit: intrigued about the Boson too. Interesting choice of name, I like to go for subatomic particle names too sometimes -
A great idea, man! A less resource hungry visual mod sounds like something that many folks might like. I´m definitely intrigued. I´ll build a KSP install around that mod for sure, give it a try. Thanks for your work and keep it up

You are welcome, man. I was actually about to type some more and then my boss tuned up You seem to use a bunch of mods, there are some parts that I dont even recognize. Most of my KSP installs are completely stock or only modded for visual appeal, maybe KER for the numbers. Plus an install for every KSP iteration that focuses on building, with all the editor mods. Always a bit afraid of resource heavy mods and part mods too, as I play on a laptop. Do you still use the laptop in your sig??? Another remark: some of the pics are shot at night and its hard to see everything. Maybe want to wait for daytime next time? Just a thought, no offence. Keep it up Daf

I was wondering the same too. And who does the locking? Squad? Or the forum mods? And are the mods employed by Squad?

Yeah, it is awesome. The music and all. I think it is fan-made, but it beats a lot of the official trailers if you ask me. It just never gets old. And I think its all stock graphics and parts too. Very well done, whoever did it.

That is so true. And like @Azimech said, rebound etc would be nice too, and spring pre-load (ride height) would just be awesome. But these things are maybe asking a bit much from a space game... so lets say sliders in the field for all the available parameters to date, please, in the next patch. Thank you Squad.

I need to pay better attention from now on, but I suspect my RAM usage is increasing ever so slightly over time. Even just watching craft and switching scenes etc. Is this even possible? Talking about a bone stock install here. At this point its just a suspicion, as I havent checked the exact numbers yet.

To create your own "science sandbox" mode, you could also just start a science mode and unlock the whole tech tree by the cheat menu at first. -

Nice! Welcome to the forums. Sounds like you got the bug too now, lookin forward to see more from you here. Cool screenshot too, just dont make Jab wait too long, okay? One little thing I noticed on your lander. You dont even need ladders on the Mun, nor Minmus or many other places, you can just use the jetpack to fly up to the hatch. And if you build your landers wider than tall the landings become much easier. cheers Daf -
I use MechJeb, but strictly for the numbers. I fly all my stuff manually, always, no exceptions. Never touched any autopiloting at all. Still prefer it over KER.

You don't. You should use the bigger gears for bigger planes. If your planes are so big that even the biggest gear looks tiny on them you will have to rely on mods.

Are you talking about making them bigger? Like the TweakScale mod does?? This has never been a stock feature as far as I am aware. By advanced tweakables they mean other parameters, but definitely not absolute size. If I misunderstood you I apologize in advance Cheers Daf
