  1. Here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lcytn423adc9mhe/KSP.log?dl=0
  2. I've been trying to track down an issue with a Breaking Ground part bug. When this part is not purchased in the R&D center, the game framerate drops to around 40fps. It causes the framerate of any scene to be much lower than normal, but as soon as the part is purchased, the framerate will go back up to around 76fps. I've tried multiple new savefiles, and it always is the same result. I've gone through my ksp.log to figure out which mods affect this part, and I have pretty much excluded anything other than Recall. I hope someone here can help me figure this out. KSP.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vt5xjcybj8dj4cj/KSP.log?dl=0
  3. Yes I just confirmed it's not related to CTT at all. I'm currently going through the ksp.log to see which mods affect that part. Sorry for the trouble.
  4. Right, so the exception probably doesn't have anything to do with TSC. I can probably just ignore it then, since everything seems to work fine.
  5. I checked the log and I got this: [LOG 00:38:30.411] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group TSC: active state form: False to: True [ERR 00:38:30.462] Material doesn't have a texture property '_MainTex' [LOG 00:38:30.576] KK: [WaterSurface] AddColliderTriggers: WaterSurface: Adding KKCallBack to GameObject [LOG 00:38:30.576] KK: [WaterSurface] SetupWaterEffect: Added water effect to: model_pondwater [WRN 00:38:30.580] KK: [AdvancedTextures] SetTexture: cannot set Texture: BUILTIN:/ksp_pad_cylTank_normal as _BumpMap on: fuel_depot_outpost [WRN 00:38:30.581] KK: [AdvancedTextures] SetTexture: cannot set Texture: BUILTIN:/ksp_pad_cylTank_normal as _BumpMap on: LargeHangarsOpen [LOG 00:38:30.604] KK: [WaterSurface] AddColliderTriggers: WaterSurface: Adding KKCallBack to GameObject [LOG 00:38:30.604] KK: [WaterSurface] SetupWaterEffect: Added water effect to: WATER [LOG 00:38:30.604] KK: [AdvancedTextures] Start: found tiling: (1.0, 1.0) [LOG 00:38:30.606] KK: [TileTextures] Start: Start called [LOG 00:38:30.606] KK: [TileTextures] GetScales: GetScales: called [LOG 00:38:30.607] KK: [TileTextures] TileTexture: TileTexture: called [LOG 00:38:30.607] KK: [TileTextures] TileTexture: Setting: _MainTex to: (1.0, 1.0) on: WATER [LOG 00:38:30.607] KK: [TileTextures] TileTexture: Setting: _BumpMap to: (1.0, 1.0) on: WATER [ERR 00:38:30.620] KK: Initialize: AnimateOnSunRise: no anim found: "exterior_anim", on: CommDishStandaloneOutpost And then (after exiting to KSC and unloading the area, I think): [LOG 00:41:36.092] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group TSC: active state form: True to: False
  6. Still getting the error. Also getting a lot more of those "active state" set to false on a bunch of other things. About 35 of those lines. Though if I create a sandbox game, I only get about 8 and no error following. What's up with that? log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/juthdku4ki38u7n/KSP.log?dl=0 Edit: those 8 lines in a sandbox game is setting 4 to false, then the same set to true again [LOG 00:02:16.648] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group KSC_Builtin: active state form: True to: False [LOG 00:02:16.652] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group IslandAirfield_Builtin: active state form: True to: False [LOG 00:02:16.652] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group Anomalies: active state form: True to: False [LOG 00:02:16.652] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group KSCUpgrades: active state form: True to: False [LOG 00:02:16.653] KK: [LaunchSiteManager] GetCurrentLaunchSite: retuning CurrentSite: LaunchPad [LOG 00:02:16.653] KK: [LaunchSiteManager] GetLaunchSiteByName: found LS: LaunchPad [LOG 00:02:16.653] KK: [KerbalKonstructs] OnLevelWasLoad: SC Body is: Kerbin [LOG 00:02:16.692] KK: [KerbalKonstructs] UpdateCache: using SpaceCenterCam2 as position [LOG 00:02:16.692] KK: [KerbalKonstructs] UpdateCache: SC2Name: SpaceCenterCamera [LOG 00:02:16.692] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group KSC_Builtin: active state form: False to: True [LOG 00:02:16.760] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group IslandAirfield_Builtin: active state form: False to: True [LOG 00:02:16.760] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group Anomalies: active state form: False to: True [LOG 00:02:16.760] KK: [GroupCenter] SetInstancesEnabled: Setting Group KSCUpgrades: active state form: False to: True
  7. Went ahead and verified integrity. It found some issues that'll hopefully help with my various errors. I compared my KSCExtended folder with the latest version and it looks identical. Both has 119 files and 5 folders. Not sure what's missing then? I did the same for every dependency of KSC extended and it's all there as far as I can tell.
  8. I'm getting a massive framerate issue with a specific research node, "Advanced Exploration". I only started noticing this problem when i started a career game. Basically when this node is not researched, my framerate drops to around 40. As soon as I research it, my framerate increases to 76. This framerate issue seems persistent throughout all scenes. KSP.log: https://www.dropbox.com/s/t0kmcb5gqugxlqp/KSP.log?dl=0 Edit: It seems to be tied to this one specific part. Unlocking the node itself does not fix it, but buying this part fixes the framerate. I have no idea how to fix this or even debug it.
  9. I was in the middle of debugging a different issue, and I noticed this in the log. What I did was create a new career save, then at the KSC I opened up the console to unlock all facilities and research. I made a quick plane and launched it, then quit the game.

  15. Yup, looks like it's fixed now by replacing those two lines with the one below! Your explanation makes sense, and I see now what was happening. Thanks for the help! I'm just wondering about one last thing. My Taranis is a bit more orange compared to the screenshot here. I suppose that's part of scatterer shader or something? Edit: Ah, nevermind. I see that you changed the color in update 1.0.2. Reworked Taranis' ocean (coastline and color).
  16. Unfortunately that didn't fix it. I also noticed that it's only half of the planet that is white. Might give a bit more of an insight into what's going wrong.
  17. The only difference I can find is that the AVP stock PQS has just PQS_MANAGER, whereas yours has @PQS_MANAGER. then again, the OPM also sorta has a @ but with :NEEDS Could it be the case that GEP PQS file is using the wrong syntax? Stock: PQS_MANAGER { OBJECT { body = Jool deactivateDistance = 175000 } } OPM: @PQS_MANAGER:NEEDS[OPM] { OBJECT { body = Sarnus deactivateDistance = 175000 } OBJECT { body = Urlum deactivateDistance = 175000 } OBJECT { body = Neidon deactivateDistance = 175000 } } GEP: PQS_MANAGER:NEEDS[!GPP,!StockVisualEnhancements,!BoulderCo] {} @PQS_MANAGER { author = OhioBob OBJECT { body = Sirona deactivateDistance = 175000 } }
  18. I tried isolating what exactly might be the cause of this from AVP, and what I found is that removing the "AstronomersVisualPack/AVP_Configs/Stock/PQS.cfg" fixes the issue. The file contains this: PQS_MANAGER { OBJECT { body = Jool deactivateDistance = 175000 } } I don't know what it does exactly, but it would make sense that it has something to do with Jool, since Sirona is based off of that, yes?
  19. I'm having an issue where installing AVP causes the gas giants in the Grannus Expansion Pack to become completely white. Log file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/4fh2jdsls4piuoq/KSP.log?dl=0 Edit: Issue fixed on the GEP forum thread.
  20. I just checked the OPM gas giants and they look correct and are not white. I can try to strip down my mod list to see if I can isolate an issue somewhere and if I find something I'll let you know. Chances are the issue is with GEP, since all my other planet packs seem completely fine. Edit: So I stripped down my modlist to the bare minimum to get the planet pack loaded, and there was no issue. Then I added back in EVE and Scatterer. Still fine. Added the Astronomer Visual Pack, and they became white again. So I guess AVP is somehow the culprit?
  21. Installed this, but some of the planets aren't looking as in the screenshots. log file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8cfmcww24erjuxv/KSP.log?dl=0 Example of Sirona:
  22. Well, for some reason, it's now hiding them correctly, and I changed nothing lol. Might have something to do with the mod creating a new tech tree file, and it not taking effect until after relaunching the game?
  23. Can't seem to find an option to move or hide the onscreen window. Am I missing something, or is it not possible? Edit: Yeah I was just missing the obvious toolbar button.
