I've been having this issue as well. It makes me unable to click the buttons in the main menu on the left half of the text/button. -

Ah, I was wondering if that was the case about stretching further out, but seeing as they didn't mention it I thought it wasn't the case. Although I feel like the scatter range still looks normal at 10x rescale. I tried 0.1x range multiplier and trees literally spawn right in front of me, so I don't think that was the right value. What would I need to set the values to for a normal range and density at 10x rescaled planets?- 3,144 replies

I am curious if this new update will improve the performance and density on rescaled systems? Right now on a 10x rescale, I'm having to increase the densityMultiplier to 100 (according to other posts) to get the same density as normal. Though any value higher than 40 or so will just crash my game, presumably because of running out of ram. Also increases load times by a large factor and seems to cause microstutters.- 3,144 replies

HUDReplacer HUDReplacer is a framework that allows you to replace the HUD/UI textures at runtime, without the hassle of modifying any stock files or assets. The mod is currently a Work in Progress, so bugs may occur. It does not come with any custom textures out of the box, though an example config can be found on the github page for those who want to create their own. This is intended as a dependency and a tool for modders to more easily create and share texture packs. Is the CercaniSystem/ModConfig_Asteroids.cfg file supposed to be disabled? -
So, when I use the 10x scale option, Kerbin becomes a lot darker. Is there a way to fix this?

Could it be due to RemoteTech changing antennas? -
Hi, when I install a rescale my game looks darker. Is it due to the interaction from scatterer/EVE/Parallax/etc? Any way I can fix it? before/after:

Thanks, that was exactly the problem! The only thing it could be would be RemoteTech I think? I'm not sure what else would change it. If not, then I will just delete the part of the contract files as you said. Thanks, will do!- 5,206 replies

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be an option for 10.625x scale, which is what I'm looking for to use. Also I noticed this error in ksp.log: KSP.log

Well I turned on the debugger file, but I'm not sure what I should be looking for? I don't see anything change in that regard. I would open the ingame CC overlay, but it doesn't open when I hit alt+f10 for some reason. Anyway, I think the error might have something to do with the OtherWorldsReboot (OWR) contracts, as I recently just installed this planet pack. Here's one of the contract files, which I think might be the issue as the exceptions seem to point to these contract names. StellarExplorationCercani.cfg: I also noticed this error: [ERR 16:53:45.735] ContractConfigurator.ParameterFactory: CONTRACT_TYPE 'AS_Jool_Monolith', PARAMETER 'Monolith' of type 'Monolith': Unknown parameter 'Monolith'. Which I think is from Anomaly Surveyor contract pack if I'm not mistaken. Here's Jool_Monolith.cfg:- 5,206 replies

Hi! Is there any reason to use the built in 10x rescale as opposed to just the regular 10x rescale mod? Does it offer improvements? If I want real-life sized scale (10.6x) should I just stick to using the rescale mod?

When I installed rescale the atmosphere became darker and more hazy looking. Could it be due to EVE/Scatterer/Parallax/etc? Any way to fix it? Log: KSP.log No rescale: With rescale: EDIT: I've been able to narrow it down to the issue coming from a specific planet pack. Apparently when scaling it up, kerbin becomes darker. Indeed. I'm looking forward to (hopefully) seeing proper multithreaded optimization in KSP 2. It really sucks having a 10 core cpu which ksp can only use 1 of... That reminds me, when I load my full modded game up, the SPH/VAB editors can become incredibly laggy when I try to add certain parts and im holding them on the mouse cursor. Probably some kind of mod adding repeated code checking for stuff on the cursor part. Also the searching for parts gets very laggy, and for some reason deleting the text in the search field and clicking the mouse outside, will cause the game to stay at a low fps until i reclick one of the part categories on the left and it resets the search field. That's most likely due to having too many mods in general, increasing the memory usage perhaps. My game runs at around 10-12GB ram usage in total. I installed QuickSearch to alleviate this issue somewhat by having the option to allow search only when pressing enter, so that it doesn't freeze my game for every character i type.- 633 replies
