  1. Can Mr Steven catch it? It should have a lot more control authority than a fairing...
  2. Will it be a working upper stage or just a test bed? it should be able to at least get a few Starlinks into orbit.
  3. Get on Twitter and ask him something before Shotwell finds him and takes his phone away.
  4. Has anyone else tried to replicate this? It should be very easy to verify. I'm curious if this is a general issue or only affects me. Anyways, I started a bug tracker for the issue: https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/20344
  5. It means the patch will only run if both Sigma Dimensions and GPP are installed. Likely because it is not needed unless you are using GPP.
  6. Has anyone had trouble using HyperEdit to place a craft at a specific location on a renamed homeplanet (in my case Earth/RSS)? If so have you found a solution? I mentioned it to the HyperEdit dev but they're stumped. ...
  7. Has anyone had trouble using HyperEdit to place a craft at a specific location on Earth? If so have you found a solution? I mentioned it to the HyperEdit dev but they're stumped. ... Beautiful! Thank you!
  8. Hi @Ezriilc, I wanted to provide you with some more information regarding a bug I ran into a few months back that I was unable to provide any useful information about when it would or would not work. I finally figured out the pattern, (quite obvious in retrospect) it seems that Hyperedit does not work to land a vessel at a specified Lat/Lon on Earth in RSS, but works fine for me on Kerbin. Is anyone else noticing this issue with planet packs that have a different planet? I recollect that there may have been a change in the way Kopernicus changes the name of home planet sometime in the last few versions. I guess that this could have an affect on Hyperedit's ability to target the planet. Please let me know if I can provide more useful info for you. Thank you!
  9. @kerbiloid, that was incredible! That would make a great historical comic series. Can you draw?
  10. Although it is not a propellant, electricity is an input for some engines. Maybe the designers were taking that into account.
  11. Added pics to first post. @Shadowmage, I noticed this at first while trying to use Kopernicus to add better looking scatter models, but it happens to me in a fresh installation of the game. I haven't checked the bug reports to see if there is anything like this.
  12. It seems like the last few versions I've had a problem where some ground scatter (trees) don't generate beneath me while flying. Some trees exist when starting, but just in the hills to the east of the KSC and not extending very far. If I land, go back to space center, then return to the ship it is surrounded with trees (as expected). [edit- add pics] Landed a few km east of the KSC. Same plane, same place, after returning to the Space Center, then returning via the Tracking Station Weirdly, the small grass ground scatter shows up even when trees do not. To be clear is is happening without mods, but it also happens when Kopernicus is installed. Are other people seeing this behavior in Stock?
  13. I thought they showed pics of the new suits w/o the packs. In what situations do the packs NOT show up?
  14. It’s a word from Frank Herbert’s The Jesus Incident series. Used to describe which side of the planet a sentient, omnipotent spaceship was on. i think I liked it because I had trouble sleeping back then, but I sleep well these days.
  15. Discussion: Are game engines (like Unity) a good thing or bad thing for computer games? The main benefit I can see is that the game maker essentially has to create a world- but not the whole universe. The main detriment is that the game creator loses control of the fundamental laws of the universe that the game exists in.
  16. Thanks Thomas! We just need to convince Squad to bring back the bug feature from a few versions back that would crash the game if you tried to load with an incompatible dll.
