  1. Parody of Parody Forum Game. The poster takes a parody posted on this game, and makes a parody of it.
  2. Having screens instead of windows kind of defeats the purpose of going to space in my opinion. I want to go to space to see Earth, and to see the Moon and other planets up close. It's kind of like how I can get really good pictures of Jupiter just by going on the internet, but it still doesn't beat getting out in the cold for an hour and seeing the fuzzy disk through a telescope, which, comparatively, is much harder. If I was on a spaceship with no windows, I would hardly have any idea where I was except from the stark control screens. I wouldn't be able to look out at Earth, so it wouldn't make hardly any difference if I was in low-Earth orbit or in interstellar space. Astronauts are humans too, and they need some comfort or they'd go insane and wouldn't be able to do their jobs to help everyone back home.
  3. Yeah, that does exist, but it takes a long time to figure it out. There's nothing in-game that tells you that you can do that. I think there should be an EVA tutorial that tells you about what you can do.
  4. Woo! I put it in my savings account. To the next poster I give all the gold in my blood!
  5. A: Going into space is dangerous business. It takes millions of people to orchestrate launches, by inventing the technologies, designing and building rockets, and those brave few who must fly them must be trained with complex equipment. It's hard to do so much as we have, and for this we should be proud of ourselves. Q: What will be your plan on regulating the use of the dangerous, addictive chemical Dihydrogen Monoxide? Right now it is not illegal in any state, and can be obtained for free anywhere.
  6. All my pieces use parachutes to get down safely, but while they are still in the air they shoot machine guns at you from above.
  7. Umm..."I am not allowed to disclose that information."
  8. I recall seeing in the UI where it tells info about the selected body that it's mass was several billion suns and it's diameter several AU. It's hard to tell because there's nothing to compare it to, no smaller black holes orbiting near it.
  9. You know you're a space nerd when you spend twenty minutes making a table of near future Jovian eclipses with Space Engine.
  10. There are supermassive black holes. If you go to any galaxy, then zoom in without changing the camera angle it will be perfectly focused on the exact center, there you will find a very big black hole.
  11. I tug Phobos, hill and all, into a lower Mars orbit where the tidal forces are too great and it breaks up. My debris field and diner.
  12. Granted, you are teleported to Mars instantly but you have nothing to protect yourself so you die from depressurization, radiation poisoning, oxygen deprivation, and hypothermia in that order. I wish for 1 ton of rocks from Io to magically appear in my backyard.
  13. It's sad to see that Kerbal Stuff was too hard to keep running, but it's good to see the community pulling together for a solution. I am sure that in the end everything will be ok, and we will still have all the mods we want.
  14. I had a rocket a while back that flipped out and lost all it's velocity three times and still got to orbit.
  15. I'm considering getting up at 4 AM on Wednesday to see the double eclipse of Tylo and Ganymede on Jool, but it's almost certainly not happening as I have a long day on Tuesday and I'll be pretty tired.
  16. I'd like to be able to set parachutes to deploy at a certain velocity instead of altitude. Maybe a combination of both, for instance: Deploy at 200 m/s OR 500 m. This would make it easier to recover things like boosters without having to focus on the particular object you are trying to land.
  17. Even though that's true, I still liked Episode VII. -There's nothing to do in KSP.
  18. Granted, but it's still not as good as KerbalStuff. I wish for a high-end telescope.
  19. Gets a $sqrt2 bill. Inserts globe of Kerbin.
  20. RTGs actually generate heat naturally, that's why they overheat faster than other parts. You might be able to make it better by adding radiator panels to your ship.
  21. Gets severed toe. Inserts severed toe.
