  1. I don't think he is, but he is using sigma, which the scatterer sun flare doesn't respond to, so the texture gets swallowed up by the stock flare. I would actually recommend the alternate cfg if using sigma so that you get some kind of sun flare.
  2. This looks like it could be good but I have a few questions. why develop it on a version that is a few versions old that not many use anymore and when all dependent mods are updated to 1.2.2? and, if I'm not mistaken, KSP (unity) can only handle textures that are no bigger than 16k and even then, the performance would dive tremendously. Is there something you are doing differently?
  3. I'm actually getting ready to trash the sunflares in that pack and release some others.
  4. Yes there is. There is also an alternate cfg for the sun included in the download for ppl that don't use scatterer. It provides the stock sunflare Weird. I don't get any loss in fps. But maybe scatterer has a small memory leak I'm not noticing. I would also ask on the scatterer thread
  5. You also should not have a folder named SVE in your gamedata. Delete it.ad for your issue, I have not come across this issue yet. Try a fresh install with only GPP installed and see if the issue persists
  6. Yes the storm bands are moving and the view of the planets is from elite dangerous. @JadeOfMaar did this work in photoshop
  7. I think he is talking about using the noise texture to make the clouds move and look almost procedural. To me it looks like a heat vapor over the clouds and looks funny so I leave that alone
  8. Included in the download are cfgs for sigma dimensions at 3.2x 6.4x and 10x so you should be covered. Just download sigma and drop one of the cfgs into your gamedata folder
  9. I figured but I havent checked to see what changed with the latest update, so I was just trying to play it safe so we don't get bombarded with "this is broken" like I'm getting with SVE and Scatterer. If it is that easy then cool.
  10. I assume this is no longer the case and his advise may be irrelevant now except on oceanic bodies. I have compared both types of textures and there is 0 bit of difference. As far as I can tell creating all textures with alpha channels doesn't serve a purpose besides bloated DL sizes. @Poodmund has far more knowledge than I do though. Maybe he can explain it better
  11. i get that but i still dont understand why kerbin was 45mb.. Even if i changed all of the textures to DTX5, each one would be 8mb or less. when i save the oceanless bodies as DXT1 the are roughly 2mb, and it cuts the DL size down to 74mb as opposed to 175. I dont see why planet texture opacity would effect WindowShine. I can see how parts would need it, but i would assume it doesnt matter with planets as they aren't reflecting anything. I use photoshop with the nvidia plugin.
  12. no Kerbin is not too dark. I converted the textures from your .dds version of endraxials textures to PNG so i could resave them. Your Textures were HUGE in file size.. kerbin was 45 mb or something like that. I know you added an alpha channel to all the textures but thats not needed on planets without oceans and they can be saved as DXT1 with 0 quality loss. When i convert kerbin to DXT5 i can get it down to 8mb so im unsure why yours was so large.. I messed up when using color range and bit into kerbins land too far and it was very noticeable in game. By the time i noticed that, it was super late so i turned in for the night and will fix the texture when i get the chance. I have National Guard stuff this weekend so it will likely be sunday or monday before i can get to it
  13. I didnt upload it due to an issue with the kerbin map. I will upload it soon when i get time
  14. Unfortunately there is no way to manually place an anomaly. They will be placed wherever KSP decides, but we have an idea for how to make them unique. As for the planet profiles, they are not in game yet
  15. I don't know to be honest. I haven't played with kerbalism.
  16. I have an update ready. I am just waiting for the black cloud fix blackrack is working on. The release will follow directly after
