[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I recommend just removing the renamer for now. It has been fixed for the next release. Hopefully we can make that happen soon. I know in its current state it’s frustrating. I’m in the same boat there are some really cool developments going on right now and we don’t want to rush the update out before proper testing and such has been done.- 7,371 replies

OK Im sure ill miss something but others will chime in I'm certain. I think you got some of the bigger issues already, but anyway: Black volumetric clouds on some bodies when using clouds with color. (I havent noticed this with stock but i have with OPM and GPP. Probably something with kopernicus) White Caps not showing near the vessel when splashed down. They are visible when descending but the closer you get, they disappear MM support is there, but doesn't work as intended though. All cfgs still get saved to one cfg (Usually Laythe or Duna) when making changes in the GUI. This is probably the biggest headache for modders as it really limits compatibility between visual packs. @Poodmund and I had to kinda jumps through some hoops to get it working properly. I'm sure he has his thoughts on this as well. The halo issue for some Mac and linux gets reported A LOT. lol I cant think of any more pressing issues at the moment, but like i said, others will chime in im sure. If i think of or notice anything else with the test version, i'll let you know. Welcome back btw!

[1.12.x] ResearchBodies V1.13.0 (15th May 2022)
Galileo replied to JPLRepo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
It's not a problem, that is by design. Sarnus is discovered on all difficulty levels. Humans have known Jupiter existed long before they invented the telescope, and OPM used that logic as well. feel free to change it to whatever you want in the OPM_ResearchBodies cfg in the OPM folder, but its not something I will change. -

Works fine with 1.3.1. Check that you installed correctly. Also, post logs and perhaps a screenshot of your gamedata folder. If you need help finding those files, click the red button in my signature.

I can’t help you with your DL speed obviously, but the textures are as small as they are going to get. The good news is, once you get them downloaded, you shouldn’t have to download them again. Just don’t delete them.- 7,371 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This is not a bug anyone else has reported and isn’t in my personal career so check your install and perhaps reinstall kerbal konstructs. I'd imagine if it was an actual bug with GPP we would have been swamped with reports of this. Looks like you are using Rescale and Sigma Dimensions. You are missing a key part for kerbal Konstructs to work right with with a rescaled system. I would go look at the Rescale thread OP for the answer to you question. No, but I know what kopernicus is capable of doing and what you are asking is not possible. If you would like, take your question over to the kopernicus thread if you don’t trust my answer.- 7,371 replies

Caves and lava tubes aren’t possible with KSP/Kopernicus and the PQS system it uses. The closest thing you will see is the “cave” model on Tylo- 7,371 replies

Is the ram usage in the 70’s for only KSP? You still have to consider background applications that are also utilizing ram. GPUs can be pushed to 100% and still be fine. Stressed, but fine. More Ram will definitely help.- 7,371 replies

[KSP 1.12.1+] Galileo's Planet Pack [v1.6.6] [23 Sept 2021]
Galileo replied to Galileo's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
As play time increases, so will your ram usage. Doesn't really matter what mods you have. A career with 3 hours of play time will use less ram than a career with 30 hours of play time and so on and so forth.- 7,371 replies

That’s impossible lol. The stock planets are deleted before the game even starts with GPP installed. I think you are confusing OPM with stock.- 7,371 replies

It’s not planetshine. It has to do with the way the lights are emitted. If it’s stock lights probably nothing you can do, but if it’s lights from a mod, there ways to fix it, but the code would need to be changed. I have seen the issue you described a few times and the devs always had to go back and recode the lights. There are a couple differently was to code them.

There is a GPP discord but its not public. I can make a channel for you if you like? That way you will also get feedback from the devs throughout the process?- 7,371 replies
