  1. I've started updating to the latest version as it seems to be stable-ish in terms of KSP updates and the SSTU development on the ShipCore parts.
  2. @tater I just take a lot of the fuel out of the tanks to balance them for stock systems I'll update some of the craft that I have already... if you want I can add your parts to the repository.
  3. I can redo my SSTU repository ships (deltas, ares, saturn, sls etc). I could even make an ISS replica withe the current SSTU parts
  4. Yes, but you can adjust heat production in the ksp settings which might be easier. Else use this (change to reflect the mod you are using or just remove). @PART[*]:HAS[@MODULE[SSTUModularHeatShield]]:NEEDS[RealSolarSystem]:AFTER[SSTU] { @RESOURCE[Ablator] { @amount *= 3 @maxAmount *= 3 } }
  5. Seems to be working fine, so 1.2.1 it is. Not version dependant: I used the small solar panels with built-in reaction wheels and it makes the satellite go all wobbly as if the wheels in the panels are looking at a difference direction than the main craft. With other panels I don't have this issue.
  6. Well, Wildblue has some LCD panels in it's mod, we could use those and hook it up to VDS Hullcam :-D btw: anyone else try the hullcam mod? It's great, let's you get those camera shots on the rocket like the spaceX launches
  7. Yep, you need a HUGE tank to get any dV advantage with the NERV engines. Small tanks tend to be heavy, so dry mass will undo advantages here. In a stock system using the LH nukes makes less sense as you need big launchers that negate any benefit in career or just look plain silly on the launchpad Add to that the immense weight of nukes in general.

  9. click to enlarge Orion capsule launched into low Kerbin orbit to bring a new crew to a space station.
  10. That explains some of the orbits being slightly off zero Thanks!
  11. On the 0° inclination version, Jupiter and Pluto are still on their original inclination.
  12. If you follow the instructions then it will work. Remove any other scaling mod or visual mod first as SSRSS has all it's own configs. Maybe bundle Kopernicus/RSS_textures and Sigma with SSRSS in the future? Don't know if licenses allow that.
  13. ... it's too early, nevermind. Need. Much. Coffee.
  14. Mage, the DOS-PWR has science lab functionality, was this intentional? This was present before the split as well, so not new to this patch. Just wondering.
  15. It's at the bottom of the list, there are no preset buttons for it at the top so you will have to enter the ratio manually. I can't get them to inflate in- our outside the VAB after the last update, so not sure they still work.
  16. Euhm, it might also be HabTech now that you mention it, also has ISS parts in it. Speaking of ISS parts... would it be possible at some point to make a docking port adapter like the APAS to allow going from the large DOS/COS port to the smaller 0 type and even just a node to attach other mods' ports?
  17. Tater, check Cx for a ISS cupola replica and USI LifeSupport for a nice glass dome if you want an alternative.
