I knew it was going to be botched up by squad judging by all the problems they had when they did the devnotes. So half a step forward, 15 back. Sorry to hear this Mage, seems like they went out of their way to making modding harder. If there is no SSTU, then I will stop playing KSP all together as the stock game is unbearable. This is a testament to your mod Mage, not an ultimatum. I just don't find KSP worth playing without it. Not even mentioning all the brainwashed groupies that think rubber ... is the norm for flight behavior.

If it were that simple I think someone would have run all the stock parts before releasing it.

Not even mentioning the huge navball and IVA pics that block half the screen, and those new messed up orbit lines that are next to useless now (if you can even see them). It's like no one played the new release before going beta with it: most bugs/issues that are being posted can be encountered within 5-10 minutes of game play. Not to mention none of the suggested items by players has been addressed. So now it will be a wait for 1.2, which will be available Soon™, 2017-ish. Yes, I'm liquiding (omg, they actually censor the p word for urinating here) vinegar right now I would break out Elite Dangerous again if there was any point in playing that (next update maybe, also Soon™). So I'm back to WoT for now.

The ticket I made got an answer that the behavior is just like in real life, if it is very long and narrow it will bend and wobble. Yeah, sure. Can't wait for KJR to be updated so they can fix the game at least on that front, as Squad is not intending to do anything about it apparently.

Just made one, although it has been pointed out in other topics in that sub-forum though. But not many people are really bothered it seems. I even have ships that flap around like rubber dildos when you launch them, and I am told that is how it is supposed to work, 'cause kerbals and all. As KJR is not working yet, I am stuck strutting everything like a mofo to get it off the ground.

Hahah, true. Does that work under 1.1 already though? Haven't tried as it is purely a plug-in and those all seem to be broken in 1.1 now. -

Is there any way to strengthen the joints? Pretty much everything wobbles like a rubberband unless you use struts. -
I don't think it has anything to do with Porkjet, all parts look "off", I think they have everything under control yet.

Are we talking about the 1.0.5 version, or the 1.1 re the LC? I'd keep the 1.0.5 with the LC and make it a 1.0.5 Final that will no longer be supported.

1.1 was released less than a day ago, and in every topic it's "it works in 1.1 or not?". Please be patient, this is not a minor update. If you want to keep using modded installs or careers, stick with 1.0.5 until 1.1 is released. All mods should be updated by that time. This is a time for bug fixing, not new career saves. -
Concentrate on 1.1 and halt new development until it's updated. Maintaining a 1.0.5 while also making a 1.1 is double the work for no reason at all. Everyone will switch to 1.1 when it is released, and things are working properly in 1.0.5 to keep it as-is.

Just don't see the use of a probe core that does not hold kerbals when you can slap on a stock part and have both. -

Yes I know, but why? Just slap a stock probe core onto the attach node inside and you are done. -
The old engines were removed, this was mentioned by Mage and in the release notes. Delete your old directories and replace with the new ones.

Why do you need an entirely seperate cockpit for that? Just add a probe core inside or that mechjeb walky-talky thing.
