Actually thats a sr-71 blueprint.
Thanks btw
Ah, whoops. I was looking at the A-12 from before and i wasnt paying enough attention to your more recent posts.
-
@eorin That A-12 is most beautiful, sleak, and accurate replica i've ever seen in KSP. Incredible work sir. I am thoroughly humbled.

Early Focke Wulf Ta-152 prototype. I still need to iron out the kinks but the engine should provide enough power to lift it, but im not expecting super high speed.
I finished it and tried to test fly it for the first time and my game crashed and everything got deleted. fml.

Updated the design heavily. It's starting to look like a real radial.
RPM is limited by a mysterious kraken force i have to hunt down though.

I am having so much fun in War thunder at the moment.
Same dude. I've been spending far more time in WT than KSP right now. Today i spent 6 hours with my squad playing squables because i play competitively.
But on the side i've been working on this new hyper-compact micro engine design i am planning to use on e Do-335-esque aircraft in the future.

@_Rade @Gman_builder Both of you are right actually.
The control is called the cyclic because it changes the pitch of the rotor blades cyclically. The result is to tilt the rotor disk in a particular direction, resulting in the helicopter moving in that direction.
-Wikipedia
I know. The rotor disk is what is produced when the blades start spinning. So tilting the blades tilts the disk.

@Gman_builder I know, but effectively the end result is more or less the same.
Uh. Ok.

@klond Your new little heli is definitely a sight to behold!!! You make the coolest stuff in this game i swear!

Yeah I was busy with drag racing and such. After uploading these big ones I'll continue with that. I just suddenly had a creative vibe in a different direction. When that happens, I drop everything and do a 180.
We can tell......
Anyway.
GET TO dA cHoPPAHHH!!!!!!

@Azimech Jees dude where the heck have you been?
We don't hear at all from you in a month then BOOM giant helicopters
-
I took this old girl out for a spin and was pleasantly surprised by her performance even having been built a solid 4 game versions ago. I set a nice cruise at 8000 meters which is a new personal record for me and a solid 170 m/s. Nice and efficient even without drop tanks and whatnot. This turboprop has a higher ceiling than some of my conventional aircraft. very cool.

This is awesome. I really like how you show the way the pivot is constructed, very helpful.
Not my video lol. Just an example.

@EpicSpaceTroll139 How did you calculate the required thrust from the tail rotor in this craft; https://kerbalx.com/EpicSpaceTroll139/Heli-MKll-18-8
I want to make my dreams come true and fly a stock Huey with Fortunate Son playing in the background.

Let me plan some transfer windows real quick.

Done. Here's a plot showing transfer windows:
I dont really know how to read that but thanks! I installed the transfer window planner so i will try to learn this strange language XD

Cool! How do i plan a proper maneuver? I've been experimenting and cant get a encounter.

Will it work on my laptop that has no GPU?

I'm trying to get a F8U Crusader variable-incidence wing working. This was my final iteration, though it still doesn't work. @Torquimedes Do you have any tips for something like this?
Also, when they close, the docking ports weld, which is extremely frustrating.
Did you try the standard reaction wheel hinge? A great example of it's use is here;

Hm. very neat. I never knew about that. Well thanks for the insight.

What, so you want me to reconstruct the entire thing with steel plates?
The ship's a massive deck of cards. Every single wing part's connected to each other. Of course the entire thing will get destroyed if you hammer a torpedo or an iceberg in its direction.
Christ, It's not the Bismarck.
Lmao bro dont redo the whole thing. I'm just sayin it explodes in a giant chain reaction.

@Castille7 Thanks! That looks really solid. I'll download and try to miniaturize it so i can put in a vehicle like i originally intended. Yeha the engine thrust torques the whole thing a little but i use the MAF mod so i can counter that easily. Also makes aiming easier. Before i had a BD FLIR ball just to the left of the cannons which made aiming a breeze because you kinda have to watch the rounds and time it right so that they dont start clipping into the other parts when they fall into the breach.
Just do a dropbox link. Way easier.

@Columbia I was messing with your Titanic and noticed if you blow up, like, anything on it, the whole thing self destructs. Might be something to do with autostrutting but but just wanted to let you know.
