  1. I have a good lifter, not quite sure the maximum tons to orbit, but it's quite a bit, I'd try 150- 200 for you. https://kerbalx.com/He_162/He964 Then I also have a 510 ton lifter, but it's hard to fly, so it has to be a really serious cargo. https://kerbalx.com/He_162/He965
  2. I'm currently building a 6000 ton capacity lifter, I was wondering if you had any tips for making these super heavy lifters more stable? It wiggles no matter how much struts are used, where they are placed, or how well I build the rocket.
  3. Looks great! Keep up the good work!
  4. Mach 2.5, at 10,000m. Mach 3 at 20k+ meters Mach 1 at sea level is fine, so long as you are just under or right at.
  5. I've been gone a while, and my time is sparse, but I think I have perfected my ejection seat. Not a single failure in any condition, and it has always been reliable, and on top of that, it looks great!
  6. He-55 -Features- Ejection Seat Supermaneuverability Leading edge slats (deployable, not automatically deployed) Ease of control https://kerbalx.com/He_162/He55
  7. Well, practice! Try things! Don't be afraid to experiment!
  8. They activate when you hit action group 2. They help by changing aerodynamics in stock KSP, and the way mine are set up, they increase the amount of lift / drag on the leading edge of the wing, and force the nose up more, so this allows easier landings, and better control at low airspeeds. Fun fact: The design for the body was complete, and I messed around with the wings for 2 months before coming to this final design, and I was working on something much bigger... a 6000 ton lifter. Thanks for all the support guys! It means a lot! I have school now, so don't expect much from that huge 6000 ton lifter for a while, I have almost no time nowadays.
  9. RK10 KOBRA Heinkel's latest and greatest fighter jets, I suggest using BDArmory to outfit this beast with some weapons! http://imgur.com/a/hJYFC This is my latest, and greatest, as usual! I usually do an Rk- or He- series aircraft once per month, but I've been sparse lately, so I thought I might make something that both looks great, performs great, and is also hard to get used to, so here it is! It turns just quick enough that you can overcompensate, making it slightly challenging to fly, but also not so much that it isn't enjoyable, so.. enjoy! I bet you didn't notice that it has no elevators and uses thrust vectoring for pitch control. -Sidenotes- It uses 4 engines instead of 2 (they are clipped) so that it can achieve a 1.0+ t/w without afterburner. The second control group deploys forward flaps for better stall control. The ejection seat is not 100% failure proof, it seems to have an issue with something, and I havn't figured out what yet, so be careful with it. Let me know what you guys think!
  10. Yes! The Vampire was the DH.100, the Venom was the DH.112, or in other words, that's the companies designation for their aircraft. De Havilland = DH.
  11. Since it's still on the first page, I'll let you guys know I added a download link. It's performance says it's a Vampire, the shape is the venom more or less.
  12. DH100 VAMPIRE I do random replica's every now and then, so here ya go! Another one! http://imgur.com/a/YqLBk https://kerbalx.com/He_162/Dh100 NOW WITH DOWNLOAD LINK!
  13. They add excess weight, and that excess weight is more important than deltaV lost due to drag.
  14. I mean, why not be capable of lifting an entire space station into orbit with one launch? For the low price of 3 million kerbucks? My reusable launchers are cheap, my huge lifters are fun, you guys pick!
  15. He966 6000 ton payload, 32,000 ton lifter. Nice plane Talos
  16. This thing's separation scared me, so I made sure it worked properly by adding a ton of sepratrons
  17. The lifter I was working on earlier is complete.. doesn't look anything like the finished product, and about 1/3 the deltaV, but it can put 500 tons into orbit successfully. The download has a 500 ton refueling dock (500 tons of fuel that can be put into Kerbin orbit)
  18. The He965 lifter, designed to bring fuel to orbit for your re-fueling needs! 500 tons of it! HE965 500 TON ORBITAL RE-FUELING VESSEL (The one in the download has a docking port for all sizes rather than a nosecone) INSTRUCTIONS: -Fly straight up. -One the first stage is out, go to second stage, and THEN do a gravity turn. -Once second stage is out, you should be in orbit, but you want to be higher up in orbit, so decouple right before orbit. -Unlock the second to top tank for the middle stage, and put yourself higher up in orbit. -Use fuel from the fuel pod if necessary to achieve orbit higher up from Kerbin. -Note that action group 1 activates the central stages gimbals. 19. So, I finally managed to make a 15,000 deltaV lifter. This is the He-965 prototype. Expect it to be taking station parts to Duna soon. That is far from the final cut, but when it's done, I expect it to be much larger, and more expensive, and the thrust to weight ratio should allow it to take 500 tons to low kerbin orbit, or possibly, to Duna. Oh, as of right now, it weighs 1,286 tons.
  20. There. I did something star trek. http://imgur.com/a/4HTwi
  21. Your obsession is clear, star trek is not currently in my interests.
