  1. KSP 1.1 is almost out, and I have decided I will wait for the full release (I don't have KSP on steam). SO, Here is my Rk-2, and Rk-3 russian kommand series fighters! (TOP OF THREAD)
  2. The aircraft image you have is the F-19 project, which was a fighter jet designed to be capable of mach 4 speeds, but it was cancelled. Here are examples of 7th generation fighter concepts, and examples of planes that could easily fit those requirements listed in my previous post. Sr-72 project High speed bomber concept Highly maneuverable, high speed fighter Semi-delta configuration fighter Outboard engine with hidden intakes design (That improves drag problem, and allows much higher speeds in supercruise, like mach 3, without having to cool the air before it enters) Forward swept wing fighter
  3. 7th generation fighters do not have categories yet, like bomber, fighter, etc, they can simply do any job asked of it. The current known status for a 7th generation fighter would be: Mach 4 capability. Supermaneuverability. Stealth technology. Advanced Radar systems built into the skin of the aircraft, like a living body. Onboard guns with bullets that track the target in flight. TOP DOG - The best craft in KerbalX Something similar to that, no need to change it, just modify it, and make it clear in the first sentence that it is the for the most popular craft on kerbalX and then keep the rest of your OP. Thanks for agreeing, I was planning on simply not replying if you decided to continue some argument over it.

I disagree, I have made many really nice replica's that simply have not gotten over 50 downloads, only because I didn't advertise my craft. 75% of craft on KerbalX (good or not) are then simply thrown out the window because they didn't make a video about it, or spam front page with their craft's thread by replying constantly. This also assures that no craft that was good, and not on KerbalX gets a chance. This also makes sure that no-one who is popular (unless they make the most ingenious thing ever) is capable of getting something to be put here until months or a year down the road. So change your thread's name, and be specific, or change the rules to be unbiased, and just.
  7. I think 200 downloads is a pretty high number. How about 400 views? Not everybody wants to download a craft, and that is a reasonable number to go by, for a popular craft on KerbalX anyway.
  8. I could nitpick you and tell you all about how it was never even a bomber, or a fighter, or stealth, but let's not get off topic here :)....

They actually found out the Ho-229 was less stealth than the Me-163 Komet, which is interesting, because the Ho-229's wings were so thick, and the air intakes so large, and non-stealthy. the Me-163 had a better stealth profile. The Me-163 was also made out of more percent wood to metal ratio than the Ho-229, and was superior in everything but range, and was actually used.

I looked it over, and I think I will leave it up to you, I don't think I can learn how to code all this quick enough to help out any, do you have a estimated time at which this will be complete, or done? @CliftonM

  14. I think his whole source code is included with his mod? Idk. He has a folder called "Source" and "Plugins" included with the mod.

I have opened it up in notepad++ so far to check it out, waiting for visual studio to update. @Majorjim It seems as though it just replaces the code for the offset tool, with his own new code, and his is designed to have no limit for the offset, or possibly just a really big number as you said, the size of the hangar. EDIT In his own code, he left something for anyone who wanted to read it: "Removes limits from offset gizmo. Limits are enforced in EditorLogic::onOffsetGizmoUpdate. This recreates the gizmo after the st_offset_tweak state is entered and reimplements the offset logic without limits." So basically, it just removes the limits, and updates it resetting the offset without limits upon startup.
  16. I am downloading visual studio, and I have his code prepped We shall see what I come up with.
  17. I'm downloading software capable of reading and editing such files, and so on, hopefully I can figure out what I need to edit to get an infinite offset.

My friend only knows how to import models from blender, and attach nodes, collision meshes, etc, making engines, and wing parts, so on, he does not know how to modify the game to have no offsets, so he doesn't want to take up his time working on this. Dang. I'm looking up tutorials for KSP modding and so on to try and find out what someone would need to do in order to do this.
  19. Oh ok, yeah I knew. I checked out all the mods I could about nuclear engines before I posted this.
  20. So you want someone to make a new one to work with 1.1 update? I know a few modders, I will see what I can do. -update None of my friends knew how to do it right off the bat, but one of them (of the three) is willing to take a look and see if he can figure it out, he will let me know by tomorrow if he is up for the job.
