  1. Thanks! I shall include my RK-10 series in your comments section when it is available!
  2. If anyone wants to use it, you can use my RK-7 fighter aircraft. It is supermaneuverable, and one of the easiest to fly planes I have ever built, my Rk8 model is too hard to fly for me to suggest here, but it offers really good performance with practice. The Rk9 is a continuation of the Rk-7 designed for intercepting purposes though, so it's not a fighter. https://kerbalx.com/He_162/RK7
  3. I'm looking forward to seeing these! Perhaps we could be partners in building military style vehicles?
  4. I added the He-50 variant, designed for maximum flight time instead of top speed or altitude, it is a "scientific research craft only" and most definitely isn't going to spy on my competitors.
  5. Thanks! Did anyone notice I changed the engine through the designing of the V2, so the first image isn't technically the final product, the rest are? lol woops
  6. Wait for me to upload the craft! lol! https://kerbalx.com/He_162/U2
  7. It can easily cruise at the same air pressures as the real U-2 (60% less than the U-2's max alt due to Kerbin being smaller) at almost twice the speed as well. The dimensions are spot on, except for the tail section is 5m tall, not 4.88m tall. Thanks! V2 version:
  8. Squad should add a new turbojet, something in between the turbo ramjet, and the wheesley. Not a panther engine though, just something that will work better at higher altitudes. The J75 was used on the U-2 spy plane to carry it to the edges of the atmosphere. We should have an engine that is smaller, and capable of doing this with really good fuel efficiency early on in the game, and to provide a way to air launch something from the edges of the atmosphere, or to do some early exploring of Kerbin.
  9. This is a Work In Progress (WIP) so please be patient, It will be finished soon, I will have an update log at the bottom. V2 https://kerbalx.com/He_162/U2 V1 U-2 Spy plane specifications: General Length: 19.2 m Wingspan: 31.4 m Height: 4.88 m Empty weight: 7.15 tons Max. takeoff weight: 20 tons Performance Maximum speed: 223 m/s Cruise speed: 191.6 m/s Stall speed: 38.8 m/s Service ceiling: 21,300m + Flight endurance: 12 hours KSP U-2 (V2) Spy plane Specifications: General Length: 19.2 m Wingspan: 31.4 m Height: 5 m Empty weight: 15.88 tons Max. takeoff weight: 46.788 tons Performance Maximum speed: 934 m/s *dive speed before wing rip Cruise speed: 319 m/s at 15,000m and 201 at sea level Stall speed: 15.2 m/s Service ceiling: 14,000m Flight endurance: 1 hour 17 mins - 1 kerbal day and 1 hour (depends on altitude, and speed) Versions: V1: basic outline of the vehicle, not yet fully functional at operable altitude. V2: makes the V1 a more realistic comparative of the real U-2's specifications (downloadable on KerbalX upon release) V3 (He-50): custom tandem cockpit variant designed for use in my He-50 series of warplanes. seen below
  10. This one only has 126 parts, and can easily be used for dogfights, etc. https://kerbalx.com/Soundwave/Lockheed-Martin-F-22A-Raptor Yours is great though! Nevermind the high part counts, I don't think I could get the same shape with even 50 parts!
  11. Place equal amounts of SAS units on the top, middle, and bottom to prevent it from shaking.
  12. I just uploaded a working kraken drive in pics above.. only works 50 percent of the time. I'm not sure how well I can replicate anything here.
  13. New PC, old one's processor overheated (an old Pentium G that I was going to overclock and sell) and then it shut down, and the computer wouldn't start, and the hard drive wouldn't load in any other PC I had.
  14. I don't have any of my screenshots from pre 1.0.5. or most of my 1.0.5 screenies anymore either.
  15. SAS unit spinning it from just past the base, the small one, and it worked perfectly when not above 200 m/s
  16. Gotcha. Experiment time! Yay! Science! In a more serious note, I was trying to use this for a movable wing (F-14 replica a while back) and They didn't seem to work well in high G maneuvers, and or just at high speed in general, and it was impossible to get the wing back into forward position.
  17. Nice replica man! I love it! Perhaps you could do a MiG-31? (modern MiG-25, you probably know that though.)
  18. You will need a heavy duty launcher for this... Experiment! I have built vertical launch spaceplane/rocket hybrids that can easily bring 300 tons into orbit, back in 0.90, Perhaps I should rebuild them.. hmm
  19. I will always think the constellation stuff is cool! Anything Mars from here until I die will be a thing to remember.
  20. I'll be around for the results! I'd like to see some more awesome craft
  21. I was saying I could go back, remove the parts that were broken, or fix them in old craft due to me having the older versions, as well as the fact that I could render them usable in the newer versions, or make them capable of being loaded into the newer versions. I have a lot of time on my hands, and I just thought it would be interesting to help.
