  1. Oh trust me, you may notice them, but they are no where near as defined as real life, but much more noticeable with FAR. If I move the wings on the La-15 up by 1 degree of dihedral, it becomes unstable in real life. If I moved the wings of the Yak-30 1/2 foot forward, it becomes highly unstable in real life. If I do either in KSP, neither aircraft seem to have been effected in the slightest. Oh, and no I havn't, should I?
  2. In normal KSP I find it very hard to replicate specifics in aircraft, just general out-takes on them, and I'll tell you what I mean here in a minute. With FAR, you can make much more diverse changes by doing very little changes to an aircraft. If you try to replicate any of these three aircraft, you will find they all fly generally the same in normal KSP, but entirely different in real life:
  3. *Finds this awesome ship* WHY HAVE I NOT SEEN THIS BEFORE
  4. @Majorjim I'm just gonna leave this here... N9 progression has been hard.
  5. So put three of them together, and put a 5 ton cargo at the front or something.. lol
  6. Not that time is wasted making such things, why not have it? Anyone could do it with the right knowledge, and there is no shortage of people willing to learn, so I suppose everything is possible. Someone should make a efficient Juno powered SSTO that can take 5 tons to orbit or something like that, that would be really amazing.
  7. Small things is interesting.. There should be a mod called "Small Things" Consisting of 0.625 and smaller wing parts, small little bays, antannaes, engines, ramjets, and a little airbreak or so too, that would be really cool.
  8. "Jeb, I think you may be glad you weren't in that part of the rocket when it.. went wacko..."
  9. WOW first place? There's no way I beat some of these guys! Thanks though! Being over responsive is sometimes a side effect of being very maneuverable, and supermaneuverable.
  10. The pulsejet as-014 could not work past mach 0.95 the air forced the intakes open all the time. The As-044 could stand up to mach 1.3 Im sure.
  11. I LOVE THAT ENGINE NACELLE YOU MADE AT THE REAR! lol, this thread is just awesome, I wanna see more of these
  12. Perhaps make the side tracks connectable again, because they were removable, and they were stored behind it like a trailer by connecting them together from where they were taken off the sides to each other. They were removable so it could be transported by train, like so:
  13. spaceplane dock, and refinery are being postponed due to work on the N9 modular rocket. The station is essentially complete, besides the refinery, mining rig, and spaceplane dock. N9 modular rocket is simply an N1 style rocket capable of going to EVE and DUNA.
  14. My personal opinion says that is pure ugly. However, it also isn't as skinny as the above fighter, and nothing is sacrificed by not using a bubble canopy.
  15. It is near impossible to get that nosecone shape without it.
  16. Crew is onboard, and a current status picture will be placed for each launch showing what is going on with the LOS-1 station, development will now focus on improving the N3 reusable first stage, and making it much easier to land.
  17. I just added the complicated, but useful He51, and simple but elegant He52. The He51 is an air to air combat fighter, designed for hardened pilots who are very capable of flying unwilling aircraft, if you can master it, it has unlimited potential. The He52 is an air superiority fighter, easy to fly, easy to handle, and all around good in all ways.. except it lacks a custom cockpit, and ejection seat, but nonetheless, it's a cheap alternative to the Rk-7 in terms of ability it is equal, in terms of an ejection seat, it lacks.
  18. I was considering a kerbal powered engine system you could dock to a space station that was small, and re-usable, and I came up with this basic design, proving it could work (hacked gravity to get to space, then accelerated quick enough with RCS, and the ladder to get an orbit)
  19. N3-L3 has fired, and failed to land safely, it's cargo the crew module is now attached to the LOS-1. A crew will be sent up shortly after the docking arm has been attached (keeps docking vehicles further from vital solar panels)
  20. N3-L2 has fired, and failed to land safely, however it's cargo is now docked to the LOS-1.
  21. N9 modular rocket information Prototypes testing the technologies: Production N9 models:
