Reported Version: v0.1.4.1 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: i9 9900K | GPU: 3070ti | RAM: 32GB Observed Behaviour: Prograde/Retrograde Indicators are moving based on the other crafts rotation. Expected Behaviour: Navball indicators only move in reference to the two crafts relative positions. Video Evidence: https://youtu.be/rzTCBmVMpTc (27 Seconds) Steps to Replicate: Load TargetInheritorTestSave.json Load again to counter spinning bug Undock the docking port on the left Target the other crafts docking port Change to Target mode. Change to the other craft Push a little rotation Change back to the original craft Results: Retrograde indicator is reflecting other crafts rotational movement when it shouldn't be. Credit: @00Dave For help with getting the perfect way to demonstrate this for the video evidence.

Might be something intermittent.
-
Moving this to the archive. The hotfix has reduced this considerably. Please do a new bug report for any further issues.

@sleepy_eb Thank you for submitting this bug report. There are a few possible causes for what happened. I was wondering if you have a save file that was created before that screenshot for testing? That would help save time.

@kicka55 Merged your bug report with this one.

Reported Version: v0.1.4 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: i9 9900K | GPU: 3070ti | RAM: 32GB Steps to Replicate: Go to the VAB Have the graphics settings in Borderless or windowed mode Move the mouse pointer off of KSP2 Move the mouse pointer onto KSP2 Video Evidence: https://youtu.be/2AbscbuLwME (26 Seconds) Additional Information: Note that the video shows this way more severe because I had been doing things before hand. To get it to be more severe try the following: Launch a rocket and have it explode. Go to the VAB Clear the VAB Then test.

@Kersifal Thank you. Added that to your bug report as well.
-
@Kersifal Anyway I can have the craft file as well? My testing is showing your save is doing it 100% of the time, but not 100% of the time for my test craft.
-
Thanks. Initial testing seems to indicate its the Trumpet engine that is the problem. Replaced your old file with the new one.
-
Thanks for the quick response. Do another bug report but with just the file is enough. Put my name in the title and I will add it here.
-
@Kersifal Thanks for submitting the bug report. The save file you supplied doesn't use the craft from your video however

Reported Version: v0.1.4 (latest) | Mods: none | Can replicate without mods? Yes OS: Windows 10 | CPU: i9 9900K | GPU: 3070ti | RAM: 32GB Main Issue: KSP2 will throw a PlayerPrefsException error when the game's registry Key/Entries is filled up with too much information, At that point KSP2 will never again complete the initial load into the main menu. Whats Happening: KSP2 is adding information every time a SOI change happens or if a save file has been loaded. It all appears to be similar information repeated again and again. Screenshot of Spam: Timeline: 24 February 2023: 0.1.0.0 to 0.1.2.0 KSP2 started fine. 22 July 2023: 0.1.3.0 the PlayerPrefsException started happening but I wasn't sure what the cause was. I fixed it by creating a new local account on my computer. 23 September 2023: It happened again with the new local account. Important Information: It only took two months to get to this point this last time. Once others start playing KSP2 more regularly it will only be a matter of time until others have the same problem. Workaround: Delete using regedit: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Intercept Games\ Be warned though, deleting the wrong thing can stop applications from working, or even break the entire operating system. Files: The following is the registry entries for 0.1.0.0 until when 0.1.3.0 stopped the game from loading into the main menu (322mb): (Changed from reg file to text file) KSP2RegistryEntries.txt Log file created yesterday: Ksp2.log Unity Links: PlayerPrefs Information: https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/PlayerPrefs.html PlayerPrefsException error: https://docs.unity3d.com/ScriptReference/PlayerPrefsException.html
