  1. Wait, so you can't save during a leg, but I'm reading this: So not just the stage, correct? So the saves are pretty worthless?
  2. I actually started thinking a bit. Chickens = if you could make egg blocks. Not very useful for building, though, who would want a house as fragile as an egg? Sheep = shear off building blocks. Only grass required (horribly slow, though).
  3. And that one Top Gear episode... Proving that Stig cannot into space.
  4. Confused, but fingers are still crossed. Will be really disappointed in Elon if this is not happening.
  5. 90% chance of incorrect speculation: Zuma. Zooma. Zoomer. Zoomer = fast. Fast = Roadster. Coincidence? I think so... But it would be cool if it wasn't!
  6. Part of me wants to say he's not being serious, but I learned to never underestimate an Elon tweet when he started The Boring Company... They need a crash test dummy in the front seat. With a cowboy hat. Also, this gives a new meaning to parking orbit. EDIT: And fuzzy dice hanging from the mirror. I'll gladly give mine.
  7. So, we were going through our old slides (yes, I know) and we found these ones from my dad's trip to the Cape in 1978, I thought they might be interesting for y'all. That is presumably an early shuttle mockup of some sort. Picture of a pad. Not sure which one (probably 39 something). Outdoor Saturn display from a distance. Another shot. Shuttle from further away. The VAB. Taken from the crawlerway. Higher vantage point on the Saturn display. Picture of a Saturn IB mobile launch platform. You can tell because of the milkstool. Another angle (not the best picture). VAB. Base of the Saturn display. Another shot of the VAB. Another look at the milkstool. A clearer shot of the milkstool. This last one is my favorite. Not may people know about the milkstool, but this is a pretty clear picture compared to the other ones.

  10. Hey, I'm thinking of Christmasifying my profile picture. Any suggestions? I want to keep it a Saturn V, but I want it to be Christmasy.

Wasn't deliberate, and sorry to hear that it was causing problems. Although I did consider copy pasting that a few dozen times...
  12. *Grabs popcorn* *Realizes theater is filled with members of the KSP forum* *Realizes the theater screen is a mirror*
  13. Me too! /s I went to homecoming this year (with a girl I barely knew who asked me) and somewhat enjoyed it but nothing really came of it, and that's my only real experience.
  14. They should name the ones that get to orbit after elements. This one, should it succeed, will be dubbed "Hydrogen." But what happens after 118 successful flights if no more elements have been discovered?
  15. Quick update: After many attempts and for many reasons, I had to redo the landing from the point where I jettisoned the heat shields. Steve is on the mothership again and I'm almost done constructing the first of two "refuelers" in LKO. However, I have not had access to the computer I use for KSP for the last three days, and currently it's being defragged... It is at 0.82% and five minutes ago it was 0.81%. Hooray.
  16. Yeah, pretty soon we're going to have forum comments sneaking into the comic. hi Kenlie

"Sorry, you cannot add any more reactions today" So you get a quote!
  20. On the walk home from school today I saw a jet transit the moon. Not particularly special, but rare. According to a reddit post (only source I could find) the moon comprises 0.00106% of the sky, so, pretty rare indeed. Also that reminds me, a few weeks back I saw the moon perfectly positioned on top of a tower of some sort, it looked like an evil genius's weapon.
  21. And the sattelite was called "Meteor." Ba-Dum-Tiss!
