  1. Revert to the VAB, build a new rocket.
  2. There are no craft to terminate at this time.
  3. You press the big red button, suddenly klaxon's sound and lights flash all around you as the stations radar dishes spin around and a huge screen comes to life on he wall, you can see all of Kerbols planets waiting for you to visit them!
  4. You notice A big red button, a big green button, a leaver and a ladder
  5. Jebediah is standing in front of the VAB, it is a nice sunny day and a small rocket sits on the launchpad, to his experienced eye he knows it won't get too high though. Exits are West (VAB) East (Launchpad) North (SPH) South (Tracking station)
  6. Lol.. The engineers haul a pod to the center of the SPH, and asks what part do you want next?
  7. The nearest engineer looks at you in a puzzled way.
  8. You are standing in the Spaceplane hangar, there is no craft here but you see a pod and a few other parts, Kerbal engineers and scientists mill about.
  9. I'm hopeful for a future where we will be able to buy our own small spacecraft like we can buy a yacht or motorboat now, expensive and kinda big, but doable for many, craft like we see in the space games we play such as the X series. Can't see it happening in my lifetime which is a shame, and no idea how I'd help bring it about.
  10. Hmm this isn't Kerbally enough, going to reboot..... 11. The lamp is old, but there is still a wick and oil.
  12. Yes, cats are not weaponry.
  13. INSIDE BUILDING You are inside a building, a well house for a large spring. There are some keys on the ground here. There is tasty food here. There is a shiny brass lamp nearby. There is an empty bottle here.
  14. A simple game with simple rules, each player either posts as if part of a text adventure, or posts a command, depending on what's in the post above them, for example.... Me: AT END OF ROAD, You are standing at the end of a road before a small brick building. Around you is a forest. A small stream flows out of the building and down a gully. KasperVld: examine building Vexx32: It's a small brick building. It seems to be a well house. Me: enter building ...And so on. Go!
  15. Granted, your browser cache is now open for all to see, jeeze that's a lot of naughty sites :/ I wish someone would start a text adventure thread in the Games forum.
  16. Yep, it is, there are and they are Welcome to the community 11Bravo49417, I hope you have fun here.
  17. [imgur]pccgv[/imgur] And this thread is okay as long as no rules are broke
  18. It's not KSP at fault here unfortunately, it's AMD refusing to support the old cards with the new xorg :/ I also have an old 4850 which I really liked, but it's in a box now, unused and superseded by an Nvidia GTX 650. I just got sick to the back teeth of the poor AMD drivers, first for the 4850 and then for the 7660D build into the CPU.
  19. From a shell window? Not sure, I'd make a script or a shortcut in that case but you can add the 64bit binary to the steam command box, it's in the opening post. On linux the graphics drivers are the number one issue, I'm also using the open driver, version 325 for Nvidia, I am guessing you have an old (4000 series or older) ATI radeon card, trouble is those are discontinued/unsupported by AMD so you need to upgrade :/
  20. I have mixed feelings about something like this, but only because I played KSP before there were any saves or even persistence, and when the only destination was the Mun. Getting to the Mun and back was hard, because you could not make mistakes, you could not misstep, it was all or nothing and it was tremendous fun, as well as nerve wracking. It's different now we have more planets of course, but still, a Mun flight can be done without saves, and it's a lot of fun doing it that way when there's the risk that it can all go wrong.
