There are two versions of KK updates that were released after kerbin side continued last update. So, what version of KK should I install now for 1.5.1? The last one, or 1.4.5.30? Cause yesterday I installed the last one and everyhing seemed to be in the wrong place. Some anntena dishes were floating in the air, the runway markers were off by the side, and the ksc upgrade was partly below terrain. using terrain on high settings. -

tht is the recolour depot itself. It just doesn't work for the new parts that were introduced in 1.5 I am using it nonetheless

this plugin which is the core of it yes. But you also need configs and some are outdated. But it works nevertheless on more than half the parts I use. I am talking about recolour Depot and waiting for sstu update also.

Playing on 1.5.1 and the ksc center only has the upgraded runway but nothing like what ive seen in the pictures like the opening hangar or the second runway. Is it because it needs to update even U have last kk version installed?

I said because I installed it a couple of days ago and it seemed to be broken. But I will try it again now then if you say it is working.

In 151 i have the miniature parts with reflection it is really beautiful. Made alternate metalic default in parts and using opengl 4.5 However some parts are not working properly. The Fl-... tanks look gorgeausly reflective in miniature. Bit when I take the part into the editor it is black and trying the textures that come with them the reflectiveness breaks so to speak. Strangely in miniature it is workinh while you hover over the nouse and it starts rotating on ots own in smaller scale. And there the fl tanks look really nice. I think it is because this mod hasnt been updated yet. -
I will try this mod now. I have FAR and Principia installed (ksp 1.5.1) Is all compatible?

I have 8Gb of RAM Intel 5 3.00 Ghz 2GB GT 720 (not so great video card) 55 mods installed My question is: How should I edit my pad settings to be optimal to my computer? THanks! -
Please post an image of your gamedata folder. (you can also install the Recolour Depot mod referenced in the Opening Post of this Thread to make the same painting functionality on Stock parts). In your gamedata folder there should be: Module manger dll (file) 000_TexturesUnlimited (folder) SSTU-PBR (folder) and then the SSTU parts mod for example, or the recolour depot mod, which installs everything in a "TURD" folder. These make the mods above be visible or a have purpose, nothing will happen if you don't install some of these two.

you need the PBR folder that can be found in SSTU download links. I bet you missed that. https://github.com/shadowmage45/SSTULabs/releases I would install SSTU so you can paint parts, although you could install the Recolour Depot but I don't think it works in 1.4.5, so you could paint stock parts too.

I am having random explosions where suddenly all the parts of the ship in space separates from each other and go different directions. Ksp 1.4.5 windows 7 I don't know if this mod is causing the bug but no other I can think of could be causing it. My main directory ksp log: https://files.fm/u/7gx49q36

I noticed that the sliders on the gui have a maximum of 255 while you can manually type beyond that to get a really reflective surface (not on SSTU parts though). Why is that and should I ask on recolour thread? Is there a way to get the slider to the maximum? It is just so I dont need to type all the time. I know I make a lot of noise in threads to do simple things bit I dont know any coding and it must be easy I imagine. you have to riggt click a part and choose bob ross on the appearance slider. Then a buttom gets visibke saying "open recoloring GUI" Have you done that? Also do u have module manager, and sstu-pbr installed? That last one is found in SSTU download links!!!!

Oh yes! Now playing in 1.4.5 and KSP is fantastic now. Using MK2 and MK3 also.. I just want to ask though, two things: One, why are the engines not so much "shiny" as they used to be in electrocutor's old patch? It seems the all shiny isn't so much shiny as other parts are. And the other question is: How can I make the shiny textures be the default one, so when I bring a part into the editor it is already shiny by default? Just two simple questions with no intention of being hurtful. I LOVE the new recolour Textures Unlimited parts. It is just amazing and it looks SO good. and so fluently with no FPS drop at all. Amazing. I'll upload some images soon.
