Your aircraft, @SuicidalInsanity, is my favorite. I've no doubt that it won't take top honors, but the unique shape of the craft deserves a medal of its own. As far as I'm concerned, no other craft will come close to touching it in terms of aesthetics.

I play whichever version happens to be convenient.

You can make your own custom flag fairly easily. 1. Download GIMP. (It's free & open-source) https://www.gimp.org/ 2. Find or create the image you desire for your flag and resize it to 256x160 pixels. (px) 3. Export the image. Open the KSP folder and click on "gamadata". Next, click on "Squad". Finally, click on "flags" and export the image into this file. 4. Voila! I hope this helps. Here is a youtube video on how to use gimp, and another on how to make custom KSP flags.

For starters one might recognize that transformers exist only in the movies. I'm just joking around with you. To my knowledge breaking ground hinges were never designed to move wings in-flight. You may need to try a different approach.

Kerbal Space Program isn't like "other games". I believe that's the reason we all play it. Whether or not "other games" lock updates behind DLCs is completely irrelevant.

It just looks like a lighter shade of grey to me...

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm pretty simple. All I'd like to see would be slightly more reflective "glass". A dome with triangle patterns like those found on a buckminster geodome would also be great. Providing it's not too much trouble of course.

That's epic mate! It remind me of this: I've never landed a free-falling kerbal on his head, but I often found that landing the kerbal squarely on his boots made him almost invincible. I once landed a kerbal from orbit with only his boots!

Like everyone else, I enjoy launching rockets. But I also really enjoy landing orbiters. It's a blast.

@Vanamonde, I think it's high time that we remove the "new, replacing lost thread" from the title. No one about has seen the old thread recently, indeed I didn't even recognize it's existence. This is what too much Blackadder will do to a fellow...

I suspect that KSP version 1.8 will add bugs to make up for all the good features added in 1.7.
