  1. I'm just wondering if Tweakscale is *officially* supported with ReStock/ReStock+? IIRC other mods like SSPRx and NF mods don't support change the sizes? (or maybe I'm wrong)
  2. Just pointing out that when downloading ShipManifest.dll, I got an anti-virus alert (Norton, for me) saying this is an untrusted file and it was quarantined. I know I can whitelist it, of course, but should I? My Norton error code says it's basically unknown to the Norton systems, so it's considered a risk. Further research on the code shows that it comes up when people share things like system files that aren't part of an installer, etc. I guess if you trust people on the Internet, go ahead and use the file?
  3. Whoo hoo! Perfect timing, I'm just about to do a re-install of my 1.6.1 game (my current install is too unstable right now) and thought I'd have to hunt this one down. Appreciate your work!
  4. I'd love to see some close-up shots of your lander. It looks really compact and functional.
  5. Hi all, hopefully someone can help me troubleshoot. I'm getting pretty frequent "crashes" where KSP will stop responding and then Windows tells me to Close or Wait for the Program. Over the past couple years of playing KSP, occasionally I'll get these, but now it seems a lot more frequently. I have a suspicion it's related to completing contracts in my Career Game, at least I'm getting semi-consistent crashes when I've completed my last 2-3 contracts. Of course, here's my latest log file: KSP 030719 Time 2159.log Here's my mod list (yes, there's a lot): I'll probably just end up going through the usual weeding through mods to get this more stable. But I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on what actually might be going on with my log and contributing to these crashes?
  6. Prepare... for 10 hours of glorious YouTube ear invasion:
  7. I do use RealPlume, although reading on the ReStock thread, it looks like it needs some compatibility patching. They mentioned they're working on that for the next release.
  8. Since downloading the new ReStock mod, I've been working with a stock install (plus some quality of life / functional mods) and completed a Moonshot! Everybody loves a good 'ole fashioned Apollo-style mission, so that's what we've got here. This was a lot of fun to build and the parts look amazing. Here's the full mission album: Did I mention... I'm a super-fan of this mod? (and not affiliated with the developers)
  9. I woke up this morning, and as usual in the past few days, I checked the ReStock WIP thread to see if.... today... was our.... lucky day!?! (It was indeed!) Somewhat shameless plug / promotion / extra hype for ReStock from @Nertea & a whole team of folks who brought this awesome mod to fruition. (Note: I'm not affiliated, just a super-fan) If you've never heard of it and enjoy finely-crafted, lovingly-detailed, and downright-awesome parts for KSP... you need to stop what you're doing and check it out.
  10. Banned because you're following me (honestly thanks, btw) but darnit you made me click on this and now I'm hooked. Banned, I tell you!
  11. Started a new stock install just to see all the parts. Looking great! Thanks for all your hard work to the whole ReStock team!
  12. Sorry... 0/10 Don't think I've seen you 'round these parts.
  13. Hi all, please excuse if this is a dumb/un-informed question... Since I've been using RealPlume forever and just now noticed many engines didn't seem to have proper plumes (very slow-going Career game right now), I thought I should download/install the GitHub version of this rather than continue using the CKAN version (which still says 1.4.5 max KSP version in CKAN). With the GitHub download, am I missing anything as far as files? The OP mentions the GitHub download includes RealPlume & Smokescreen, so I'm just making sure that I've got everything I need? Thanks in advance for any confirmations or other suggestions! EDIT: I'm just checking version numbers, and thinking... maybe I have/had the most-updated versions via CKAN anyway? RealPlume is version 11.1.0 (max KSP 1.4.5) and RealPlume Stock Configs is v1.3.1 (max KSP 1.6.9). That's everything, right?
  14. So far I've been using it in 1.6.1 and haven't seen any problems. Admittedly, I'm not using it constantly, but when I've needed it (transfering fuel, dumping, etc.) it has worked. I noticed a comment above about localization strings not working, but I'm playing in English so I haven't seen any problems. Would be great if someone could recompile this for 1.6.1 or something. It does throw an AVC warning, but I think you can just change the version numbering in the config file.
  15. * furiously checking watch & calendar * (no pressure, just excited!) For those of us who are super-excited for Restock but also like certain parts of Ven's, is it appropriate to start a discussion here about how to swap this around manually? (Obviously, don't want to hijack this thread talking about another mod) Or maybe some awesomely talented & motivated community member can come up with the MM config or something code-wise (sadly, I have no skillz there) that could prioritize Restock for all its sexy textures & stuff, but then leave anything that Restock *doesn't* touch to stay as Ven's? Does that make sense?
  16. Awesome! Hands down, the all-time-fav / they-should-pay-you-to-make-this-stock / so-useful-it's-impossible-to-play-KSP-without-it mod is updated! Thanks for all your work! (Is that too many exclamations?? )
  17. Very possibly. It's been a while since I've played KSP and now getting back into it the past few weeks. So I don't need that then?
  18. Can I just say how awesome it is that KSP allows people who *want* to calculate payload performance to actually do so and come up with some (presumably) accurate information. Kudos to you sir! Kudos to you and your maths. Me, I strap some boosters on and hope for the best. LOL I couldn't/wouldn't/shouldn't calculate anything... and I'm glad the game doesn't make me! But seriously (not trolling), very cool to indulge your passion with this great game and sharing it with folks.
  19. Probably off-topic for this thread, but I noticed you said you were running other AAA games without problem and thought EVE/SVT/etc. was causing the issue. But then the PSU switch fixed it. As a partially-literate PC user (I've built 1 computer in the last 4 years) I'm just curious why you think it was doing that? Wondering why KSP vs. other games. How it renders stuff or the mod(s) taxing the system? Anyway, just curious.
  20. Nice, very Steve-Job-moment right there. Can't wait to see these parts in action -- so I can finally stop using Ven's Stock Revamp!
  21. @Drakenex Hey there, necro'ing a post of mine from back in June 2018 wondering if there's any chance this airlock component could get the colorization treatment? Maybe when next you're updating all those sweet new Tantares parts... you could give some love to that little one? Anyway, thanks for all your great work on this mod!
  22. Question: In the download for HabTech2 there's the folder "Benjee10_sharedAssets" along with the GameData folder. Does anything in the "Benjee10" folder get updated along with each release? or just the Parts and Resources subfolders? Just curious if I need to overwrite that folder, or just the HabTech2 one (I'll just overwrite them both just to make sure) Thanks for all the amazing work! Which mod is this from? I'm looking to create a version of the Lunar Gateway and would love to use Orion. But stock pods suck!
  23. Hi there, I've been using WS seems like forever and it saved numerous Mun installations for me in the past. Now with 1.6.1, does this mod still do what was needed before to prevent bouncing? I'm not quite to making off-Kerbin bases yet in my current Career playthrough, so wondering if I still need this? Or if it's no longer needed?
  24. Hmm, OK maybe I have something previously installed there? I'll delete the whole folder and reinstall from CKAN to make sure it's 2.4.1 this time. UPDATE: I checked in CKAN and figured out what the cache is (I didn't know where that was before) and noticed in the file for TS said "2.4.0.0" so I guess that was the previous version? I purged the cache and redownloaded. I'll let you know if I see other issues.
