If there’s no probe core, it can’t be controlled at all. If you do have a probe core, then you can switch to it and detonate it manually.

If you’re running on PC and aren’t averse to using mods, both MechJeb and KOS allow automation, but for this purpose I’d look at SmartParts. I apologize, but I can’t look up whether they’re updated to the current version until later today.

Smart Parts Continued is updated for 1.8.1.

I am having a problem with my bomber plane. The bomber has 3 cluster bombs and all of them lose the ability to detonate after detaching from the bomber itself. They still can be detonated when still atached to the bomber. The bombs work by having many decouplers atached to eachother. The I am rather new to this game would like some help. What do i need to do in order to detonate the bombs in the air?

Unless there is a probecore on it, the bombs will not be able to be controlled, which means you will need to switch to it and detonate it manually.

You didn't miss much, just the "Spring 2020" launch date and the fact it's been delayed to possibly next year (there are no launch dates yet). If anything, it's better you found out now because the hype train for the rest of the community is running on fumes as of now.

It has been delayed, but just to Take 2's 2021 Fiscal year, so it cannot come out before March 31, 2020, so it might very well meet it's launch date of "Spring 2020".

In the developer story trailer starting at 3:04 you can see several sticky notes attached to a monitor, one of which is labeled "Celestial Bodies - Atmospheres". Some veteran bodies are obviously listed (Duna, Eve, Jool, Laythe) as well as what appears to be Pol, for some reason. New confirmed bodies from KSP 2 are visible (Glumo, Murble, Ovin), as well as several others I cannot make out. I've yet to identify the two bodies on the bottom and the one at the top left. Note that some confirmed planets (Rask, Rusk and Char) are not listed - presumably because they don't seem to feature atmospheres. Interestingly enough, Ovin is listed - as it was previously described as a gas giant whose atmosphere was stripped away.

No modificationsWith image sharpening, noise reduction, and contrast bump

Maybe I have terrible eyesight, but I see "Pol" as Vod

Hmm, have you done a steam file validation? This probably won't help because you already reinstalled the game but it might provide some insights into what's going on.

I was thinking that the planets sizes could be determined by the difficulty settings. for example, easy difficulty could make kerbin 10 times smaller than earth (it's size in ksp 1), while normal difficulty could make kerbin half the size of earth.

Suprisingly I am against this idea, I believe that modifying planet sizes should remain firmly in the hands of modders.

I have colonized almost all planets, with multiple support bases and stations, also i have made my own system of how much a kerbal can live and has to rotate, also how many days a vessel can be in space and many things more.

Yes its a bit of extra work with notepads and things but i can work with it and the game is still not offered me everything.

I do not understand you, you maybe not the biggest fan of Kerbal but to say its obsolete, i am sorry but it just makes me furious.

Especially with triple A games that come every year with not even 1/10 of the content.

I believe, (I can't speak for @OOM, please correct me if I am wrong), is that KSP1 was developed by a small indie company that had absolutely no experience making games. The result was a wildly buggy game. Over time, many of those problems were fixed but there are still problems with the game on it's own. It's like a skyscraper with a rotten wooden foundation. KSP2 is being developed by experienced developers, and their aim is to fix those problems that can't be fixed without a rewrite of the entire game.

Such is the reason why the 1.X.0 versions are always so buggy, even though they fixed a lot of bugs.

In retort to @OOM's statement though, KSP is not really rotten or obsolete, even after KSP2 comes out it will be updated, at least for a time.

No No NO. No Disney/Marvel/Star Wars DLCs, young man. I'm afraid Disney might file a lawsuit on you if you made one or even Star Theory made one. Only "Lost In Space" 1998 DLC only. Keep your lame "Disney monstrosity" out of my ideas and deal with this one. As I said before, "pandering theme and overrated cultural phenomenon" DLC only.

No Mr. I can't show you them because it's gambling. I don't want to become a "gambling Boogey Man".

That is missing the point. I can think of several reasons why Star Theory will not work on this

    1. They will have to pay royalties, as stated above,

    2. Why would they work on this expansion, which adds a limited amount of parts and will only appeal to some people when they can work on an original expansion that provides more variety of parts and adds in game mechanics (Which is why I think it could be best as a mod)

So KSP 2 is coming out in 2020 very soon. I wanted to add an expansion package based on the 1998 Lost in Space film.

    These include:

    • Jool 2 spacecraft (based on the spacecraft seen in the film, called Jupiter 2)
    • Jool 1 booster rocket (based on the Jupiter 1 booster rocket also seen in the film, with Super Large fairings with holes to mount rocket engines)
    • Jettisonable adapter for the bottom of the Jool 1 booster
    • Launch tower for the Jool 1 booster/Jool 2 spacecraft (with crew access arm and umbilical masts, new launch pad addition)
    • Extension of "R-12 'Doughnut' External Tank" called "R-20 Large Jettisonable Sliced External Tank"

I see your point, but in my opinion it is hard to base something on one franchise. If we get this, then why don't we have a Star Wars DLC, or a Interstellar DLC? This is why I am opposed to this idea.
