  1. Oh wow... bringing back lots of Halo: Reach race map nostalgia. Very nice!
  2. I would kill for the blue trajectory line in not-map-view.
  3. You can right click on the part, and click on "Aim Camera" Although I believe advanced tweakables needs to be on for this.
  4. That I don't know. I have the GoG version, which doesn't use the client installer like Steam. But with it, I have a 1.3.0 install and a 1.3.1 install, and each one of those has a few separate GameData folders for stock, full modded, KER only, etc.
  5. While I'm sure there's an easy way to set it up, one thing you need to consider is the mod updates. When KSP itself updates, there's a good chance at least some of your mods will get broken. It'd be best to just update vanilla, then, when each individual mod gets its update, add it in.
  6. No, since you seem to be watching it and responding to every post.
  7. I have a few ideas, but my work computer runs KSP at about 3.5 FPS, so I gotta wait 5 hours to try them out.
  8. Not really unplanned if it's.... planned.
  9. Sepratron, all the way. I love that little guy.
  10. I don't think the voids will be as much of a problem as the overlaps. It will really all come down to the slicer - not the printer. I've "glued" two models together in Cura by simply putting the models close enough that they're essentially printed as one. I've also overlapped, which can confuse the slicer, and cause it to actually generate tool paths over where it's already gone. Netfabb has a free online service that usually fixes problems like this. But it can also make them worse. It's always worth a try to at least get it in the slicer and see what happens. If it looks good in your layer view, you're probably alright. If you're sending broken STLs to a print service though... you might get some unfriendly emails.
  11. The RTGs do cool themselves. But the deployable Thermal Control Systems do use power. I believe the canon is that they behave similar to liquid coolers for computers - gotta power the pump.
  12. ...Without engines? I currently have an i5-7500 @ 3.4 ghz. I've been contemplating going up to an i7. Are you saying it's not really worth it, since my computer's primary mission is to explore the Kerbin system?
  13. Are you sure that's your ship? The directory you posted is for the stock ships. As far as I know, the stock ships cannot be overwritten. So if you loaded a stock ship, edited it, and saved it, it might have the same name, but that's not the same ship. You ships are stored within the specific Save's folder.
  14. It's been 20 minutes. This is a forum, not a chat program. Please be patient. You weren't very specific anyway, so it's hard to tell what you mean. Any rocket in the game is "Kerbal"
  15. Given that the problem was pinpointed to KSP Interstellar, you're going to have better luck taking the issue to that mod's specific thread.
  16. TCS uses EC, right? Is it possible those RTGs aren't providing enough juice for the converter and the thermal stuff?
  17. I've used this to get STLs of individual parts. Not sure if it can do a whole craft, you'll have to read through the thread. But if the craft isn't overly complex, you could do each individual piece, "build it" in Blender, and export the whole thing as one STL. Then send the STL to a printing company. I've also thought about printing out stock pieces after modifying them so they'll snap together.
  18. I have pretty much zero experience with Mac, so bear with me. A quick Google gives me this:
  19. You need to go to your Kerbal Space Program Folder. What OS you're on and where you bought KSP will affect where this folder is. Kerbal Space Program -> game -> saves -> "NameOfSave" -> Ships -> VAB(If it's a rocket, SPH if it's a plane) -> "YourRocket".craft Simply copy that file to the computer at the school by placing it in the same folder for his save there. Then open the ship in the VAB.
  20. The problem isn't going to lie with the game, but your cooling system. Is this a laptop? Do you have pets?
  21. I'm in a bad mood, so I sent Dadon Kerman to Eve to die.
  22. Honestly I'm not sure how to do it in Windows either. I would still copy your GameData folder as a backup, then remove Janitor's Closet, and boot into the game. Just to see if it's there. If it's not, you'll probably want to start the halving method. Remove half your mods, see if it comes back. Keep track of which one's you're removing. When it comes back, start adding that group back one by one until it disappears again.
