Have you modded at all? There are thousands available, and even though most don't add anything resembling story or goals, they transform the game. Stuff like KIS/KAS and SEP give you plenty of EVA stuff to do, among many others. Dealing with life support also adds plenty more to do, and changes the way you design your craft. Of course, if you're not into modding, you'll just have to wait. I was initially not into modding when I joined the forum, but I eventually developed a need for angle snap docking, was pointed to Konstruction!, and it just snowballed from there. I even started tweaking with configs the other day, and I bet you anything I'll eventually make a mod. There's more to this game than just playing it Also, welcome! Hopefully you'll stick around even though you're not actively playing. -
That won't help in this case. That will only help if the surface roughness is due to the printer or printer settings. You can tweak the layer heights till the cows come home, but it won't un-facet a faceted model. The model itself needs to be smoothed, before it's sliced. Personally I like the low poly stuff!

I had them once, wasn't overly impressed. Just another burger. Maybe I was just expecting too much from the hype. Could have just been a shoddy location too. I love Bair's. 50 different burgers on their menu, even a few vegetarian friendly. Expensive, but worth it, IMO. Definitely agree hole-in-the-wall mom-and-pop places are always the best. Wish I had one of these around..

Achievements??

A few months ago, I would have agreed. But there's a few problems with achievements, at least for me. Main being I really really love this game. I don't wish to get burned out on it for a good long while. I've found that even with games I've obsessed over, such as Halo and Borderlands, it's eventually boiled down to achievement hunting. Which can be fun, but can be incredibly grinding. I'd spend hours upon hours of doing something I didn't really enjoy just to get that little popup. I've got every achievement in all three xbox Borderlands games. Guess what I don't play anymore? Once I'd gotten all the achievements, regardless of gameplay, I felt the game was done. I don't want that to happen to KSP. I'm unhindered, completely. Yes, I could ignore an achievement system. But I also know me. That would eventually become all that mattered. Another minor issue is that most achievements I've dealt with are story based. Since KSP doesn't have one... All in all I believe achievements are best kept to the modders. That way, people who are like you can get an achievement system if they wish, and people like me can ignore it. -

I'm assuming if you're running 4K, you've got a pretty decent graphics card that can handle more than one. Hit up the thrift stores! The monitor in the middle is an Acer AL2223W, 22 inches, built in speakers. Not super high res, but it works perfectly. $9. I also got an older Dell 20 ish inch monitor at the same store. It's not widescreen, but it's big enough that that doesn't really matter. Built in USB hub. $8 on a store-wide 50% off sale. The one on the left is an Acer X191W, got it with a computer off CL for $40. The one on the right is also an X191W, from eBay. (I like my stuff to match). About an hour ago I had to stop myself from buying another AL2223W on eBay for $40. And the bowl is actually full of tortellini -

I'm not quite that bad. I've been a console guy since forever, skating by with average or potato computers. But KSP made me go out and buy a decent computer for once. And then I added to it, and added to it. Today I hooked up the third monitor. -

I interpreted it as a joke. You're probably in a pretty small minority for playing at 4k. I'm sure that's why you haven't seen it come up much, if it all. -

I just wanted him to suffer. But also number 2. And it seemed to have been fixed. -
Get yourself a joystick. Lets you have control without it being an all-or-nothing situation.

Nerp. @Not Sure because I hope that's a poke at Idiocracy!

Hitting Backspace will trigger the Abort action group immediately, and you can use it like it's just another group.

That's a nice, smooth print. What printer do you have?

For rockets, it's generally: 1. Solar Panels 2. Comm equipment 3. Any radiators If there's a lander with the rocket 4. Solar Panels 5. Comm equipment 6. Any radiators The rest would be assigned based on the craft. For spaceplanes: 1. Toggle air breathers 2. Toggle closed cycle 3. Toggle re-entry system 4. Cargo bays/docking ports 5. Solar Panels Non-spaceplanes: 1 . Toggle engines Rest varies, depending on the plane. I have been meaning to work out an much more standardized system. I know there's at least one mod that gives you more than 200 action groups. If I can couple that with a one or two of these, I'll be all set. I can print custom buttons to indicate the groups and even light them up based on function: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2368184

Papa Murphys is great. Their pizzas are cheap, full of toppings, and you always get it right out of the oven - because you cook it yourself. It's take'n'bake. The aforementioned BBQ chicken I get is a 16 in pizza, has KC masterpiece BBQ sauce, chicken, tomatoes, bacon, chives, and a ton of cheese. They're soooo good, and they're less than $15. Plus, since they're uncooked, they're technically grocery, and food stamp eligible. The only downside is they don't deliver. Dominos is... eh. Not much of a fan of Pizza Hut anymore either.

I don't think he meant the act of vomiting is, but the typical feeling of "Oh god I finally got that crap out" afterward.
-
That is.... far from my choice of words.

Today I finished my metal and ore drones for the Constructor station, and sent up the first two. Apparently docking was just too much for the station, and she just started...drifting apart. Lucky the Konstruction! ports have a handy built-in self destruct system, code-named "Compress Parts (Rotate)" I'm blaming the KIS EVA struts. We're gonna look into KJR and try again.

I believe there are several mods available for that. What you would need to do, is go to the "Add-on Releases" subforum, and search for "Contract Pack". I personally don't use any, so I can't recommend a specific one. Welcome to the forum! You're English is fine.

That is pretty incredible. I can't even imagine the amount of patience needed for a hobby like that. Could be nicely supplemented with a 3D printer.
-
uh... Thundercats? Never watched it, but it's the only show I can think of that has Felinoids. A giant spinning "Bicycle Wheel" protects a tunnel through space.

Entirely depends on my mood and where it's coming from. Hard to beat Papa Murphy's BBQ chicken pizza. But there are some sports bars around here that have damn good burgers. Or, you know
