I'm not sure how much it'll help now, since it seems you're not set up the same way, but... this is how I handle Steam games with my daughter who's 11. She has her own Steam account that she uses on her computer. I never buy anything through her account. When she gets a game, I buy it as a gift through my account and gift it to her. That way there's no dealing with shared accounts and she can never buy games on her own. If I'm not mistaken, when you give a game to an account, you can schedule the delivery. There used to be ways you could buy codes for games, and then you could give your son a card with the code on it, but I don't know if that's still a thing.

Drone ship landings don't have a boostback burn, so that may be a consideration. It is odd though, since AFAIK all previous CRS missions were RTLS, and the only reason I was aware of that the crew missions were drone ship landings was because the abort-friendly ascent profile couldn't do RTLS.

No. The only time the dislike button has appeared in my 3 1/2 years here was an April Fools joke, and clicking on it was no different than clicking the Like button. It wasn't actually being tested. This forum will never have a dislike button.

With an i3-7100U, it's not terribly old. The RAM would be DDR4 or DDR3L. GDDR is for graphics cards only. But 4 GB definitly isn't going to cut it, especially since I'm not seeing dedicated memory for the iGPU, which means your "graphics card" (built into the CPU) will be using system RAM. KSP isn't graphically intensive, but it's still going to drag it down. You may be able to play bone stock with the graphics settings turned way down, but I wouldn't expect a good experience. What laptop is it? My laptop has 4Gb soldered but also has an actual DIMM slot as well, so I'm running 12 GB in it. There's not much you can do about the GPU, though.
