strutCube Missing
Geonovast replied to Commodore_32's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Ok, It's loading fine for me, so we know there's not an issue with the craft. Even though KerbalX says pure stock, it does require both DLCs. Do you have Making History and Breaking Ground? Also, are you on career or sandbox? -

Hello, @Commodoregamer118, and welcome to the forums! Would you mind sharing a link to the exact craft you're having trouble with? -
You can certainly use my username.

"loading saves not allowed in this game"????
Geonovast replied to strider3's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I hear ya. At least it was a setting, and not a bug or a corrupt save file! -
"loading saves not allowed in this game"????
Geonovast replied to strider3's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Couldn't tell you, it's been there as long as I've played the game. On normal difficulty it should be turned on. So unless you turned it on manually or selected a higher difficulty setting, something's amiss. It will be different for all saves. But once you change it and then save, it should stay put. It can be nice, though, if you're playing a hard difficulty, since you still can load saves in the event of a bug. It's just a pain to go through the menus each time. -
"loading saves not allowed in this game"????
Geonovast replied to strider3's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
It's a difficulty setting. Hit Esc, Settings, then Difficulty Options, and maks sure "Allow Quickloading" is selected. Keep in mind, though, that when you load a save, it will be turned off in that save, so turn it back on before you save again. -
Welcome to the forums, @Robdjee! We're glad you decided to make an account and are looking forward to your contributions.

Are you referring to just a single tank? Can you be more specific? There are several 1.25m tanks.

@RealKerbal3x I think the fact that they'll be in about 1/3rd of Earth's surface gravity should help quite a bit.

Made a Build, Fly, Dream trailer for another space game
Geonovast replied to Clockwork13's topic in The Lounge
Moving to The Lounge, since it's about a video game. -
Greetings, @jonathonF, and welcome to the forum! First off, you don't actually need to stage an engine to activate it. You can right click on the engine, and activate it using the menu that comes up. It's also not a bad idea to tap F5 before staging if you're unsure what's going to happen. Unfortunately it's difficult to give advice in this situation without seeing exactly what you have going on. Would you mind showing us some screenshots? If you don't know how to insert pictures into your post, give this a looksie.

Two words: Multiple Monitors.

You might want to take a look at this one. I think it'll do what you want. Otherwise another option would be to reverse the control point on your command pod, if it has that option. I'm not sure if they all do or not. That way you can fly in "prograde", but your ship will still be backwards. If you can't do that on the pod itself, you can use a docking port to set a reverse-facing control point.

totm aug 2023 What funny/interesting thing happened in your life today?
Geonovast replied to Ultimate Steve's topic in The Lounge
Rocket looks a bit upset. -
You could always use just plain old WINE, which Proton is built off of. I will be disappointed if KSP 2 doesn't end up with a Linux version, especially since a Linux version was a major factor in me buying the first one, but I have a feeling the Windows version would work adequately in WINE.

This would be my main focus. Anything else after those would be secondary.

Switch Rendezvous vessel
Geonovast replied to Mudandhany's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Moving to Gameplay Questions, since this is a question about to play the game, rather than a tutorial on how to do so. -
Moving to KSP 2 discussion, since this is a request for a feature in KSP 2. Also, welcome to the forum, @AEROSPACE guy!

Multiple Hinges/Multiple conenections to parent part
Geonovast replied to Mieszko's topic in Breaking Ground Discussion
Mine, yeah. Adds tons of nodes, including additional ones to the hinges. I've been using it for almost a year, so I tend to forget what nodes are stock! -

Geonovast replied to Mieszko's topic in Breaking Ground Discussion
They do if you install Superfluous Nodes. Hinges too. (Shameless plug) -
Is there a Facility Upgrade Tree?
Geonovast replied to GungaDin's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
This should tell you everything you need about the building upgrades. https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Kerbal_Space_Center However, that won't help your kerbal pilots lock onto their target, they'll need to level up for that. https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Specialization https://wiki.kerbalspaceprogram.com/wiki/Experience -
Multiple Hinges/Multiple conenections to parent part
Geonovast replied to Mieszko's topic in Breaking Ground Discussion
@Mieszko There's a mod that helps take care of this you might be interested in. It's not perfect, but it would be helpful in conjunction with some additional strutting as mentioned above. -
I like to think that this is more accurate than it should be.
