Which planet is Rusk and which is Rask?
Bej Kerman replied to Minmus Taster's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
There should be a collective name for the 2. I vote Raskla -
Why did I find a free version of the game online?
Bej Kerman replied to Cant think of a username's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I, BejK, humbly submit a toast to "Cant think of a username" for successfully managing to pirate Kerbal Space Program so that he may play the launching of the boosters. Congratulations Cant, enjoy your explosions. -Tzz- Ah! *clack* P.S. You should use well encased virtual machines to test software you think might contain malware. Keep that in mind. -
Because satellites are always shiny. Unless they're owned by the government, or really far away Not unless you paint the bits that don't need to be shiny black before launching lots of them.
-
I am sorry but this is very shortsighted. New technology always causes problems, problems we solve. Yes its a problem now but every new technology is bound to have such issues. So you have two options here, First you discover new ways to fix and improve new great things Second you give up and abandon future important technologies. Why were the satellites shiny? It's like Elon never thenks further than the launch, then thinks about the problems his shiny new toys might cause for everyone.

Having those massive hills is why everyone likes it. Intercept has essentially gimped Minmus. -
No. [snip]

Rask and Rusk. They remind me of the Hourglass twins, and binary systems are rather interesting.

(Unofficial vote Name the eyeball planet from ksp2!

Of course you did. Username checks out. -
Bad science in fiction Hall of Shame
Bej Kerman replied to peadar1987's topic in Science & Spaceflight
In Elite: Dangerous, the Frame Shift Drive is a magic device that makes you go really fast in the direction you point and magically syncs your speed with the object you drop near. Would it have killed to have just skip "it's a modified Alcubierre drive" in the part description? That's not how Alcubierre drives work. -
You mean the one that makes the glass transparent? That's stock.
-
Every week. I just had my ears re-blown out by Tom 20 minutes ago at this morning's standup. Best come prepared next time and bring earmuffs.
-
Granted. Those wishes must only be wished shortly before you die. I wish for a perfect pizza to be delivered tomorrow at dinner.
-
Now, if the Kerbals could react emotionally to what the other Kerbals are doing (dying, giving birth, etc) that'd be brilliant and would add more fun to crashing massive structures with Kerbals on either side.
-
When are we going to cover the bigger issue that Kerbals can already make fuel from soil? That's way more unrealistic.

Your PC can't do a transparent image floating at a set of coordinates?

Bej Kerman replied to Halban's topic in KSP Fan Works
I'd say the OG fits better. -
If Kerbals can make fuel from soil, what's the point of this thread? Most of what the developers have done is locked and in place so what people think no longer matters. Telling from all that has gone into the mmH engines, they're bound to end up in the game so there's no use talking about them.

SRB...Or bust!
Bej Kerman replied to PhilippineSpaceProgram's topic in KSP1 Challenges & Mission ideas
If there's one thing I love about this forum, it's how people always take the rules and find every loophole. Granted, this is a big loophole. And about how stage 1 and 2 need to get into orbit, I'll just construct the rig in orbit using mods! -
First, because of your statement, you already said:: Second, because of what I said, which you seemed to ignore: I was exploring your statement using stated assumptions for the purpose of exploring the statement I was trying to illustrate the point that saying something is only desirable if available is nonsense. Which is why my initial post in this thread stated that: I'm not having an argument. Regardless of what you think, I wouldn't be voting if Q2 wasn't there.
-
Really? Let's explore this statement a bit: Let's assume that you only want it if it is done immediately. You say that if it won't be done for (let's say) 3 months that you don't want it. Let's further assume that it is released 3 months after the game is released. So your statement is implying that if it isn't released immediately, that you will never use it, regardless of when it is released. How about you ask me instead of assuming 1. I wouldn't "only" use it if it was done immediately. What I've voted for is that I wouldn't mind multimonitors as long as it was done after indev reserving time for the core of the game to be done. 2. Read 1. 3. Read 2.
