  1. Galileo’s planet pack is pretty good. Has some very challenging planets and some nifty things I won’t spoil.
  2. You have to enable it for each piece. Imagine the struts you can physically place, but instead these are invisible and run from the center of one piece to the center of another piece. You can only choose from certain pieces, like the heaviest piece, or the root piece, etc.
  3. I was expecting the manevour node around Kerbin to be placed (in position and time) to do a direct Hohman transfer with only a slight adjustment in solar orbit to hit the target.
  4. I tried this once, but I was having issues with planets that had any sort of inclination. It would make an ejection maneuver node, and then a ridiculously high DV maneuver somewhere in the solar orbit as well. For example going to Moho was taking something like 6000 DV. Was I doing something wrong? Is it supposed to create solar orbit maneuver nodes like that?
  5. Although it only works if you have the “allow partial” control option enabled. Otherwise if you lose all power you won’t be able to re-enable those batteries anyway.
  6. Anyone know how to correct for the roll problem for a single prop aircraft without resorting to setting the trim every time?
  7. Incredibly wrong. Whoever said that was either incredibly misinformed or trolling. Some experiments will give you different results over different biomes, such as the gravity detector, or EVA reports. However the gravity detector part unlocks much later in the tech tree, so you won’t get there unless you leave Kerbins orbit.
  8. No, no you cannot, because no CEO is ever going to say something like that.
  9. I also have issues with sometimes not even getting notifications. For example when @St4rdust made that post about the new gripper parts under the Daily Kerbal section, I didn’t get a notification at all despite having it enabled for any new posts to that sub forum.
  10. Keep in mind that Private Division isn’t for AAA games. It specifically exists because Take 2 had a gap in managing smaller projects.
  11. I would be okay with it if the new version used a much better engine that handled all the physics properly, was much more optimized, and had lots of new features like wind, a proper aerodynamics model, a campaign/story mode, brand new planets with interstellar travel to at least a couple different solar systems, base building/resource management, much bigger tech tree, more in-depth science, etc. Basically a game with a lot more focus on gameplay elements and without all the bugs/glitches due to an inadequate engine. I am not a sandbox player, I like a game with goals and objectives and preset challenges to meet. Imagine a game with the realistic physics of KSP, with the exploration of No Mans Sky, with the base building concept of Satisfactory. Now I realize this is an insanely huge/complex dream and will never happen. But man oh man would it be awesome.
  12. I thought I made it pretty clear, the point is to speculate wildly.
  13. Who’s talking about KSP2? I think your the first one to bring it up actually. Edit: Actually the second. I see one mention earlier in the thread.
  14. I mean that’s great, if they have a magical money tree to survive off of. Do they?
  15. I have to say, I am pretty surprised by the results. If you guys don’t think Squad is working on a new game, what exactly do you think the artists are working on, for example? And do you think they can stay solvent on $15 DLC for years?
  16. If I blacklist the Making History parts I don't like the texture for, will it use the Restock+ version instead?
  17. That only works if it is supposed to extend in the first stage. Pretty worthless if it needs to be done in a later stage.
  18. You ran KSP on a computer with a 1GHZ CPU?
  19. This probably still works. https://spacedock.info/mod/1010/Xenon ISRU
