  3. Heat bar. @Joe78man try to place another decoupler beneath the second srb. Solid fuel cannot be shared among two solid boosters.

  6. For the disadvantages, the rocket sled on a rail creates a lotta drag. The skylon still have to deal with transonic drag and sonic boom. The whole design requires a ton of extremely flat land... Why dont you use a large jet instead of all this trouble. Plane launched skylon.

  12. I will suggest instead of buring at 60-70%, burn at 100%. Because reaction time.
  13. Spinning aka rolling is no big deal, real life rockets do that all the time.
  14. Basically, crash into the target docking port with you same size docking port at 0.2 m/s. There is a bunch of stuff about rendezvous, such as setting your target, plotting intercept course with manouver nodes, killing relative velocity when you are close, then kill relative distance to 100m to not crash into solar panels. For docking, set docking port on target craft as target and set docking port on your craft as control from here, then use rcs to slowly move towards target. Make sure you touch with the ports parallel to each other. Magnets will pull you in when you are extremely close, but try not to go too fast due to the magnets. For control keys, view your settings. I play on pc.

  16. Theorectically, Mars is international waters, which is free. The ships upon it are not.
  17. Warning: this may break your game. Get a backup before doing this. I nevee tried this. Go to you ksp directory, saves, your save, persistent.sfs. Look for career. Change it to science.
