  1. Are you planning a rescue mission for Corgas on minmus or will he report the weather of minmus forever?
  2. Nice one! The craft in the distance is the scy crane? Would you please give as some screenshot of Rover deployment (aka landing and seperation)? Which purpose has the narrow band scanner? You don't have an ISRU If I didn't miss something. Just looking cool (that's a good reason actually)? Regards, Jost
  3. Evepollo done with a lot of science even I don't need it anymoore: https://imgur.com/gallery/ZACFq6J So there is just one mission left: The biggest and craciest of all, the Jool5.

  5. Nope. There exist several mission plans how to do a manned Mars expedition: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_crewed_Mars_mission_plans The technology is there. Mars delta v requirements and it's environment are much friendlier than venus. It's mainly a funding problem. Constellations long term goal was to go Mars. It was stopped because of lack of funding. Not because of the technical issues. Venus is a different story
  6. Because at the moment any technology to survive on Venus surfase and return back to orbit is science fiction. And since robotic landers didn't survive longer than an hour on venus surface there isn't much point except to proove it's possible. Which would be cool indeed but ain't enough to spenzöd the needed ressources. The reasons were discussed in length some years ago: Tldnr: Won't gonna happen anytime soon. Xkcd did a comparision of several bodys of the solar system, quote: " Venus is a terrible place" https://what-if.xkcd.com/30/
  7. Ok, I'm back to the drawing board. My eve mission used ions for inner EVE soi space operations. It turned out, that the resulting TWR was way to low and in the end the delta V wasn't enough either. This only affects the orbiter, the lander is fine as it is. In any case I will need to use the autopilot mods (MechJeb and GravityTurn) because they fly more fuel efficent than me.
  8. I landet on Eve and returned to Orbit thankts to the GravityTurn Autopilotmod. Now preparing Rendevouz and docking begore transferring to Gilly
  9. I thought the challenge bans rockets but you are using them? Since you propably know your challenge better than me: What's their purpose?
  10. Which surface objects do you mean? Stock terrain scatters? You should be able to enable them via Settings->Graphics. If you are looking for Breaking Ground Surface Features: They don't work with safes from older game versions, you will have to create a new game or edit your safe: Afterwards you should see them. They are easy to overlook, so If you want to get set some assitance in finding them, enter Shift-F11 to open the Cheat menu and look for ROCSFinder or something like this in Breaking Ground->Submenu...
  11. If you can go through, they are the regular terrain scatters aka vanilla eyecandy which slowes down your machine They have nothing to do with Breaking Grounds surface features and don't give any science. You can disable them in the settings.
  12. Did you start a new game? Surface features are only enabled in new games. Alternatively you can edit your safefile: Don't forget to backup your safe before. To make sure there are any features open Debug menu and enable the Surface Feature cheat. It will mark near features with a red spot
  13. Nope. In this case I would have spent way to much Delta-V for deep space manoeuvers to match inclination with Mohp and lower AE. So i resorted to an Eve flyby lowering AE for free
  14. Yeah same for me but not this time. I think I messed something up. In the end the Eve route was easier
  15. Wrong. RTG powered probes usually doesn't have batteries.
  16. Can't remember it exactly. My first try to set up direct rendevouz ended with 7000-8000 m/s delta-v. Eve flyby and rendevouz around 6000 if I recall correct
  17. I tried but the plotted manoeuvers would have eaten way to much fuel. So I did an MechJeb assisted Eve flyby to lower AE and did the Rendevouz afterwards
  18. Went to Moho for my Kerpollo run and discovered volcanic activity
  19. Finished Mohopollo(including a visit to an volcanic ridge). Turned out to be quite tedious since I used ions to boost my delta-v (so loooong boring burns even with timewarp). In the end I returned to Kerbin and had enough delta-v to transfer to mun and minmus to harvest science from the gravity sensor. After splashdown I had enough science to unlock the remaining nodes of the tech tree: https://imgur.com/a/q3XaDjj Although I don't need it, I will try to get as much science as possible from Eve, Gilly and the Jool-Five
  20. @GRS Here you go Finished Moho, visited the volcanic ridge, Eve flyby finished science tree https://imgur.com/a/q3XaDjj Although I don't need it, I will try to get as much science as possible from Eve, Gilly and the Jool-Five
  21. Sorry. I was quite busy at work. Finished Mohopollo. Turned out to be quite tedious since I used ions to boost my delta-v. In the end I returned to Kerbin and had enough delta-v to transfer to mun and minmus to harvest science from the gravity sensor. After splashdown I had enough science to unlock the remaining nodes of the tech tree. Today evening I will upload the screenshots. Yesterday I was way to tired for sorting the mess in imgurl. @GRS What's your progress with Jool5?
  22. Try setting the auto-struts of your fuel containers to root. You might need to enable advanced tweakables in the settings
